| 8:1 • There is now NO condemnation, no down judgment, to those who are inside of Christ Jesus (s). • 2 For the law of the Spirit of life inside of Christ Jesus has made you free far away from the law of sin and death. • 3 For, in contrast to this powerless law, that is, something that has no ability to produce life, in that it was weak through the flesh, God Himself sent His Son in the likeness of fleshy falling short, and encompassing sin all the way around [t], He brought His entire judgment upon sin in the flesh, that is, He neutralized and eliminated it, • 4 so that the pronounced just innocence of the law should be made complete and full inside of us, not according to fleshy walking, that is, not by outward human performance, but according to the finest details of Spirit. 5 Indeed, those who exist according to flesh, think about and out from the flesh (u), those however who exist according to Spirit think out from the Spirit. • 6 For death is the heart-gut thought of the flesh, but life and peace are the heart-gut thought of the Spirit. 7 Because the thinking of the flesh, that is, the thinking of separation from God, is alienation against God; it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be. 8 More than that, those who exist in flesh, that is, those who rely on themselves, are not able to please God. • 9 BUT YOU DO NOT exist inside of flesh, that is, inside of fake human performance, but INSIDE OF Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells inside of you. And if anyone does not possess the Spirit of Christ, he is not His anyway. • 10 But if Christ is inside of you, then, although the body is subject to death through [your former] falling short; in complete contrast, the Spirit is life through the declaration of just innocence out from just approval. • 11 More than that, if the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus out from the dead dwells inside of you, then the One who raised Christ out from the dead will also continuously and actively give life to your dying bodies through His Spirit dwelling inside of you. 12 So then, brothers and sisters, we owe nothing to the flesh, to live according to flesh [either subduing it or pursuing it, either way]. • 13 For if you live according to the flesh, [m] you are about to die, [about to return to living separated from Christ in your imagination]; if by the Spirit, however, you put to death, [put to the one death of Christ] the actions and functions of the [physical] body, you will live. • 14 For those who are led and carried by the Spirit of God, these are sons out from God. • 15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery again into fear, but you have received the Spirit of placement and setting forth as sons, inside of whom we cry, “My Daddy, the Father!” • 16 The Spirit personally shares witness together with our spirit, that we are children born out from God. • 17 And if children, then also heirs, heirs indeed of God, and joint-heirs shared together with Christ; if indeed we share together with Him in His suffering that we might also share together with Him in His glory. • 18 For I reckon, I speak, I place to my account, that the sufferings of this present season of opportunity are not worthy and have no value compared towards the glory now ready to be unveiled inside of us. • 19 For the eager anticipation of the creation awaits intently for the unveiling of the sons out from God, [the removal of the cover that hides] [a]. • 20 For the creation was made subject to purposelessness, not willingly, but through being subjected based on the hope 21 that creation itself will also be made free from the slavery of decay into the freedom of the glory of the children birthed out from God. • 22 Indeed, we are aware that the entire creation groans together and travails together until now. • 23 Not only that, but even we personally, possessing the firstfruit of the Spirit, we also groan inside our own persons, eagerly expecting the placement and setting forth as sons, that is, the redemption of our body. 24a Indeed, we were saved in this hope. 24b Hope that is being seen outwardly, however, is not hope; for if one sees something outwardly, for what is he hoping? 25 If, on the other hand, we hope for what we do not see, we expect it eagerly through steadfastness. • 26 In the same way, the Spirit also joins as help together with our weakness, that is, personally seizes hold of our need as our help; for we are not aware of the things that are necessary for us to pray, but the Spirit personally brings us in line with Father (b) [c] for the sake of others, with inexpressible groanings. • 27 Even more than that, the One [Jesus as Word] who is actively searching hearts to know present needs, is aware of the heart-gut thinking of the Spirit, because, according to all that is God, He joins us together with God – inside complete and absolute connection [d] [the Mercy Seat] – for the sake of those who are devoted [the Church]. • 28 We are fully aware that those who love God are synergeoing with God, directing all things into goodness; these are those who are being called according to His pro-thesis, that is, His set-forth purpose. • 29 Because those whom He pro-knows, that is, whom He knows inside Himself as part of Himself, He also pro-determined them symmorphosed with the image of His Son, into Jesus being the firstborn among many brothers and sisters, that is, of His same kind, born of the same womb [e]. • 30 Even more than that, those whom He pro-determined, these He also called; and those whom He called, these He has already declared justly innocent and approved; and even more than that, those whom He declared justly innocent, these He has already fully glorified. 31 What then do we say to these things? If God is for us, for our sakes, who could be against us? • 32 For He who did not spare His own Son, but traded Him for us all, for our sakes, HOW shall He not also together with Him grace us freely with all things? • 33 Who will bring an accusation or debt against God’s elect? God is the One who has already declared His just approval! 34 Who is the one condemning? Christ Jesus, the One having died, rather, having been raised out from the dead, is also inside the right hand of God and is continuously and actively connecting us together with God. 35 Who will separate us away from the love of Christ? Pressures of travail within and without? Or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written, “For Your sake we face death all the day; we were accounted as sheep of slaughter” (Psalm 44:22). • 37 But inside of all these things, we are hyper-overcomers through the One who loves us. • 38 For I am persuaded and filled full with confidence that neither death nor life nor angels nor rulers nor things at hand, nor things about to happen, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing has the ability to separate us away from the love of God inside of Christ Jesus our Lord. |

| • Ruling Verse 10: Paul is now placing the believer absolutely into the Tree of Life, John 14:20, “KNOW that I am inside of the Father and you inside of Me and I inside of you.” • Ruling Verse 6: Inside of Christ Jesus, inside of LIFE, we walk with NO consciousness of sins nor any separation from God. • Life: It is the Spirit that gives Life, human doing cannot mimic God (see John 6:63). The Spirit of Life is the living, energeoing FLOW of Rivers (Ruling Verse 3). • Ruling Verse 4: The spell-caster has used Romans 7:7-24 successfully to eliminate Paul’s Gospel in Nicene Christian thinking. We break him off for the sake of our brethren. • Ruling Verse 6: The propitiation of Jesus, His Blood, surrounds all that is sin and ELIMINATES it. • Definition: “Flesh” in the negative sense is NOT human weakness, and it is not “doing fleshy things.” Flesh in the negative sense is self-reliance, being “responsible for one’s self before God,” and it is found in “hear and obey,” which no one ever actually does. Remember that the Galatians were not “doing fleshy things.” They had turned from Jesus in order to “obey” God, that is, to get their “flesh” under control. They had turned to death. • Life: God did NOT place good versus evil before humans, He placed LIFE versus death. The two trees ARE two minds, two opposing ways of thinking. One mind sees outward appearance and cries, “God is a liar.” The other mind sees God and knows that LIFE swallows up death. “Life and peace” are found ONLY in union with Jesus by Spirit. • Ruling Verse 6: You live inside of God, inside of His Spirit. You live nowhere else. See God all around you in everything, see God alone. Jesus has already brought you into God, into all that is Life. Let that which is gone be GONE in all your knowing, in all your story of self. You ARE inside of Spirit. • Life: Life is knowing God inside of Spirit. Salvation is sharing Life with God. Grace is God giving Himself through Jesus, making it all happen. And faith? Faith is you and me looking straight at God in every Gospel Word and calling Him TRUE! My God, my God, sin has nothing to do with you, death has nothing to do with you. Paul is about to TURN YOU AROUND, for God is pouring through you now into your world, setting creation free. • Ruling Verse 3: God our Father raised Jesus out from the dead by His Spirit; then, He gave that same Spirit to us, now one with our own spirit (see 1 Corinthians 6:17). Our bodies might appear to be dying right now, but the Spirit of Life, now flowing through us, is giving Resurrection Life to our dying bodies. We walk in LIFE before outward resurrection. • Ruling Verse 4: We stand absolutely inside of and upon the Blood of the Lamb. We speak Christ our only life, that our flesh belongs only to Jesus, that His speaking describes us. Yet we do not do these things just for ourselves, for our eyes are upon the entire Church. We see the accuser, casting his spell upon so many, that they would trust in self performance and not in the Covenant that is Jesus alone. This is the one who teaches so many to look at their flesh and to cry, “God, You lie!” Inside of Jesus, symmorphosed with His death (see Philippians 3:10), we give ourselves utterly to our Father for the sake of our brothers and sisters. Claiming nothing for ourselves, but for Father’s sake, we cast down the accuser. • Ruling Verse 7: The Spirit always leads you; the Spirit causes you to know that God is your Father; the Spirit shares with you that you are a son birthed out from God. Speak Christ. Speak that God is your Father, sharing all with you. • Definition: Preachers who claim that “God left you with a sin nature weighing you down” place a spirit of slavery into fear upon God’s precious people. You have NOT received such an evil spirit. You are a son birthed out from God, the Spirit you have received cries in you, “My Daddy, the Father.” • Ruling Verse 1: We share everything with Jesus, everything He is and everything we are. And we inherit, with Jesus, all that is God, all of God’s thoughts concerning us forever. Yet there is something pressing to turn us around, as on the Day of Atonement, for as we share form with Jesus’ suffering, so we share form with His GLORY. – What does that mean? • Kingdom: Jesus shares with us all of our suffering, for it is also His. In the same way, Jesus shares with us His glory, for it is also ours. As we endure suffering, giving it all to the Father for His sake, we become the passageway through which God makes Himself known to all as Love (see Romans 5:4-5). We are able to place all our difficulty into God in this way because we KNOW that the Atonement is Complete. • Ruling Verse 9: We are inside of God in all, kept from all evil, yes, but God has turned us around as in the Day of Atonement. We now perceive all things as God sees them and not by outward appearance. We look upon all creation and we perceive that the hatred of God is a smokescreen, for all created things are right now groaning, even travailing, for True Liberty. We are that Liberty, this Glorious Salvation in which we live, knowing our Father sharing life with us. God has set us forth as sons from Himself that we might be His Love towards all. God has removed unbelief from our own eyes that we might know that He speaks the Truth. Creation itself awaits that moment when they can see Love as well. • Speak Christ: The Spirit inside of us crying, “My Daddy, the Father,” means that we now call every moment of our lives to be God with us for the sake of others. Our speaking of Christ made personal as us is our response to a creation groaning in travail, longing to know the God they once cast off. • Ruling Verse 9: As we live now turned around inside of God, we know the Spirit in union with our human weakness, that we might travail by the Spirit as Intercession for the sake of our brothers and sisters inside of Christ. We don’t need to know what is needed, for the Spirit is the Father’s Desire in us. • Ruling Verse 9: Jesus knows the needs in the heart of a brother or a sister. We ourselves have no need to know any specifics. Yet the Jesus who shares their agony with them, imparts that same knowing in the Spirit weeping inside of us. This is how we are God’s Mercy Seat for one another; this is how Jesus resolves all and restores all through us. • Ruling Verse 1: God’s end purpose for humans, set forth inside of Jesus from the beginning, is that we would synergeo with Him to turn all things into goodness through giving thanks inside of and for the sake of all. Then, not only do we come out from God’s thoughts concerning us, but we share all form with Jesus and He with us as the revelation of the Father. Jesus makes us to be just like Himself, many as the Church. Finally, all things are accomplished right from the start inside Jesus’ Resurrection. We already share all Glory with Him. • Speak Christ: We cannot depart from unbelief until we say, in confidence of faith, “God makes me to be just like the Lord Jesus inside my present life.” This is the Covenant. We don’t have to know what it means, but we must speak it forth. • Covenant: Just as God has graced us with Jesus sharing our life with us, so He has graced us with all things. God has graced us with all of Himself; He has graced us with the ability of Jesus as the Lamb. God has graced us with one another to Love; He has graced us with all creation to inherit. • Ruling Verse 4: My God! We do NOT hear accusation of any kind against any believer in Jesus. We cast all such accusation down, and we refuse those who speak such wicked things. We clothe the entire Church with Jesus graced upon her. • Covenant: Jesus alone connects us with God, and He does so actively and continuously. We are inside of Jesus at the right hand of God, even as Jesus is inside of us as God’s authority in all of heaven upon earth. Jesus gives us His ability made complete inside our human weakness. • Ruling Verse 4 & 8: Nothing can separate us from the Love of Christ for one another that we share together. Nothing can keep us from giving our souls to the Father for one another’s sake. Nothing can prevent us from protecting one another, from giving Jesus to each other, from being together God’s Mercy Seat (see Revelation 12:11 and 1 John 3:16). Through all travail, we win all. Through all our distress, God is known through us. • Ruling Verse 7: We are persuaded and filled full with confidence that we live joined together with our Father, that Jesus alone binds us to God and God to us. We speak God-with-us in return even as God speaks Himself-with-us first. • Ruling Verse 2: Nothing has the ability to separate us from Jesus in our hearts, rooted and grounded in Love, the love of Jesus for one another beyond all knowing. The fullness of God-Love filling us full together is the only thing we KNOW. |
s. The remainder of what is called verse 1 was placed there falsely during the Middle Ages. t. The Greek preposition is peri, and it means, literally, to enclose all the way around, as in the English, perimeter. u. The mind of the flesh is the hostile imagination that the flesh separates us from God. a. This word is “the apocalypse,” the removal of the cover so that what has been here all along, Christ Jesus inside His Church, is now seen and known by all. b. The Greek word for “in line with” requires us to bring in the words “with Father” even though “Father” is not actually in the Greek, for it is God who intiates all. c. The Greek entugchano means “hitting the target” the opposite of “missing the target” that is, sin. Jesus is our entire “hitting of the target” in every ongoing moment. d. Again, this is the Greek, entugchano, the word that was used for “hitting the target,” God’s only intention for us, that is, it means “now fully connected with God inside our own souls.” Translating this word as “intercedes” can be true IF it means the central action of Jesus inside of us, the action of our salvation, connecting us always with God our Father inside our hearts, rather than something happening far away from us. e. The Greek words are protokos adelphois, together they mean literally that Jesus is the first of many just like Himself, many together as one. |
