1. Prepare a Highway
This chapter begins as the "next chapter" following Chapter 12, "Walking Together," in Knowing Jesus as He Is. Also - even though some of the titles in this text are the same as or similar to the seperate text, Designed by Word, these pages are fresh and new, formatted as writing to teach instead of writing to learn.Lesson 1.1 A World of Life introduces the concept of two possible "world's" coming out from Adam's choice in the garden, a world of death versus a world of life. A world of death is God not known whereas a world of life is God known by all. Our calling is to prepare that way by which God is known by all inside a world of life.
Lesson 1.2 Designed by Word develops how it is that we are designed as humans, as a story of words inside of a spirit self-awareness. The words that become our life are first the thoughts of God concerning us. They become the unfolding of our days, then, through the good-speaking of Jesus.
Lesson 1.3 Sustained by Word places the immediate and continous role of the Lord Jesus Christ as every Word God speaks sustaining everything that exists. We can either face full into the good-speaking of Jesus causing us to be or we can turn and hear the other word, a word that causes us to question God by questioning ourselves.
