Symmorphy IV: Covenant

This zone is a companion to the Bible course - Symmorphy IV: Covenant. The sessions of the course are in the column to the right.

I must be honest with you, I have read thousands of books in my life. I am convinced you will not find another book as overwhelming and as important as this one, unless you happen to read Symmorphy V: Life.

Introduction

There is no relationship with God, let alone any knowledge of Him, apart from Covenant.

Jesus said, “No man comes to [connects with] the Father except through Me.” We know that Jesus is every Word God speaks and that Jesus sustains and carries all as Word. Therefore, we connect with God only through a living and Personal Spirit Word.

We also know that God cannot sin; that is, that actions contrary to God never enter God’s mind, He does not know them. To force Himself and His knowledge upon any created being is an action that God does not know. The knowledge of God requires the permission of the created person, that is, Christ enters into us only through our faith.

Thus, by our own personal human decision to believe that God is telling us the truth, Jesus enters into us through our faith to be the fabric and writing of our hearts. That Personal Spirit Word, the Lord Jesus Christ, written all through the pathways of our hearts IS the Covenant. And through this Covenant, we not only know God, we not only relate together with God, but through Jesus, the Father fills us with all that He is and by Jesus, we are bound as one together with God Himself.

This text that you have in your hands is the most incredible exploration of what God Himself actually says about His binding Covenant with us and we with Him that you have ever come across.

The premise of this text is that God is, in fact, telling us the truth, and that “God telling us the truth” has a name, the Lord Jesus, the One who fills our hearts with His glory, the One upon whose breast we always lean our heads.

Nonetheless, I must warn you, this text is not an introductory look at our relationship with God.

If you still contemplate a faraway Jesus or a someday salvation, if you imagine that you are going to obey God, if you have your hopes set on “heaven after you die,” then you may not find much that interests you here. More than that—

If you have not spent time reading this word of Christ our life—

If you have not completed the prior three courses, Symmorphy I: Purpose, Symmorphy II: Essence, and Symmorphy III: Kingdom, in that order—

If you do not practice speaking Christ as your only life—

Then you have likely picked up the wrong book.

Here are the three verses of the Covenant from the New Testament, paraphrased from the Greek.

→  For those whom God knows in the inner parts of His Heart, He has already determined them symmorphosed together with the image of His Son, the revelation of Father, that Jesus might be the firstborn of many brethren, the first One of His same kind (Romans 8:29).

Now we are children birthed out from God, but what we are does not yet show itself in appearance. However, IF Jesus appears to us, we are just like Him, for we see Him AS HE IS (1 John 3:2).

→  But we all with unveiled face, reflecting as a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into that same image from one level of glory, the revelation of the Father, to the next level of glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).

And so—

IF you are incapable of pleasing God—

IF you have abandoned all sufficiency in yourself—

IF you have failed at every step along the way—

And yet— there remains in you one desire only – to be like Jesus, to reveal His glory, the glory of the Father through you, then—

The Lord Jesus is free to use some of the words in this book to reveal Himself to you as your binding agreement with God to walk as one together, just as Jesus walked.

For here we will walk together, you and me, and together with our Father, into all the knowledge of this Covenant Bond that is Jesus Sent, binding us with Father and Father with us as one person together.

Here you will learn what it means to be part of God's second criminal master plan – God showing up on this earth IN HUMAN FLESH a second time, the revelation, the unveiling of Jesus Christ.

The New Testament IS the New Covenant in His blood. What is that Covenant, binding in full upon those who sign it, both God and man?

You see, dear reader, you have already begun to sign this Covenant with God. At each level at which you say, “Yes,” to God, He binds you to Himself and Himself to you in ways you do not yet know.

Did you know that by receiving Jesus into your heart you are binding yourself to walk together as one with a most incredible Being and Person – Father God Himself?

Think about these words of Jesus, these words that ARE Jesus.

→  That they all may be one, as You, Father, are inside of Me, and I inside of You; that they also may be one inside of Us… The glory which You gave Me I have already given them, that they may be one just exactly as We are one: I inside of them, and You inside of Me; that they may be made perfect inside of one (John 17:22-23).

This volume, Symmorphy IV: Covenant, sets out the terms of our Covenant with God through the Lord Jesus Christ as God states them all through the New Testament. Yet we will explore those Covenant terms in a truly incredible manner.

Every line of the New Covenant is built upon God’s pattern of the Tabernacle given to Moses upon the mountain. The symbol God uses for His Covenant with us is the tablets of the covenant God gave to Moses and the Ark of the Covenant that carried those tablets.

Paul stated that it is evident and visible that our own hearts of flesh written with the Spirit Word that is Christ, are that New Covenant. Your heart, dear reader, is more the Bible than the Bible ever could be, for it is in your heart where Jesus dwells.

And so in this text, we will begin with God in the Holy of Holies and then walk with Him through the highway prepared for Him into the knowledge of God filling the earth as the waters cover the sea.
