3.3 A Way for God

How does God come Home? Is this the most important question I have ever asked?

God at Home is God being acknowledged as He truly is inside a House of His design and build, a House made for Him. How does God come Home?

First, God has to be wanted by humans. Consider God departing from His temple in Jerusalem as seen by Ezekiel. That was His home, His entrance into living among His people, though it was only a shadow of the real. God did not leave because of His “righteous indignation,” but because the hostility directed against Him left Him no choice.

To Come Home. If anyone wants Me to come Home, he will keep, guard, and watch over My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and will make Our home in intimate participation with him (John 14:23 – modified). Since I was twenty, this has been my hope and desire.

But at the same time, I knew fully the other part of this equation, hoping for it at the same level of expectation. The one who does not want his brother or sister, whom he has seen, to come home, is not capable of wanting God, whom he has not seen, to come home (1 John 4:20 – modified). Father and we come home together, otherwise there is no home for anyone. Home is where the heart is; home is where we belong.

Against Incarnation. The entire purpose of Nicene thinking is to allow a human to draw near to God and to secure a hope for a future salvation, even while keeping securely in place a mighty opposition against God coming home, a hostility that turns in every direction.

Consider a small group of Christians gathered together in community who acknowledge their life together as being the incarnation of God, that is, Love. The opposition against such an acknowledgement will come from every direction, Christian and non-Christian alike, and it will be murderously fierce. From the world it will be supreme scorn, but from Christians, the opposition will be “Biblical” and “theological.”

My Entire Drive. I realize now that this question, how God comes Home, is the central question of much of this text, for that is Completion. In Chapter 5, “A Perfected Opposition,” we will look at how Nicene argument works together to keep God out and our task of counteracting that opposition against Christ-revealed through spiritual warfare.

Of truth, answering this question, how God comes Home, was the entire drive of my writing of A Highway for God, as well as every other book I have written. By God’s grace, I will not stop writing about how God comes Home until He is, for this is the only way given to me at present to be part of God’s way Home. Christian Community is not about me or us; Christian Community is about God our Father coming Home.

The Principles of Completion. In the remainder of this lesson, I want to bring in the seven principles of completion that were introduced in the last chapter, but apply them directly to God’s way to come Home. I found these seven principles by inserting together into a document most every verse in the New Testament containing the Greek words telos and pleroo and their derivatives. The truth is, looking for things found in common was an easy task, and these seven categories of the vast New Testament doctrine of completion were clear.

The seven principles are (1) every word fulfilled, (2) synergeoing with God, (3) full assurance of faith, (4) the ability of Jesus, (5) the fulness of times, (6) the place of Church, and (7) calling completion.

Every Word Fulfilled. Over the last few years, the vastness and the wealth of Word found in the Bible, and thus inside of God and inside of us, has become so wondrous to us, yet we realize that we have hardly begun to know our Bibles. Knowing this vast Word by the Spirit is knowing Jesus Sent into us. How we have come to love the Word. Yet our love for this wondrous Word written in our Bibles and hearts is but a dim shadow of the Father’s love for His Word. Indeed, God has magnified His Word above all His name.

The first anti-Word spoken, in essence, was “God, You lie,” that is, “Jesus is false.” And every effort of anti-Christ is to deny the Word in the thinking of Christians.

Proven Faithful and True. Yet this Mighty Being, who tells us to call Him, “Father,” is filled with infinite Word. And every truth of the gospel is infinite in its scope, its meaning, its application, and its unfolding. There is one way only that any human could honor God, and that is to say, towards every Word God speaks, “Let it be to me according to WHATEVER YOU MEAN by Your Word.” The entrance of God can only be through, “Let it be to me,” our only human response to the vast Infinity of God.

God comes Home as Word, by Spirit, and through Faith. FAITH is the woman, clothed with the Lord Jesus, in utter weakness, in the face of all opposition, screaming in labor to bring forth the knowledge of God into the knowledge of all. It’s all about Word, the Lord Jesus Christ proven faithful and true.

Synergeoing with God. Contempt quenches the fire of God and His Word, effectively and completely, inside the heart of any human. There is one antidote only to contempt, and that is the surrender to “Give thanks inside of and for the sake of all things.”

Yet God intended that His knowledge would enter creation, that is, Father come Home, in one way only, through specific humans who would synergeo with Him to turn all things good. These are those who eat of Life, of every Word God speaks, of Personal and Living Spirit Word, the Lord Jesus, and then send forth, out from their bellies, rivers of Spirit setting creation free. We have this treasure, God come Home, in earthen vessels, that the Spirit flowing through might be God and not contempt.

Simplest and Costliest. God coming through is the simplest thing in the world. All it means is that we acknowledge the Father sharing our lives with us even as we speak His every Word made personal as us. Then, out from this shared life together, we call our every next moment as good, thus making it good with God.

God coming through is the costliest thing in the world. For it means that our calling of every next moment we share with God to be GOOD must also include a place and a home for every created thing, and especially all these other Christians with whom God has placed us. It means bearing their grief and carrying their sorrows, and in all, calling it GOOD.

Full Assurance of Faith. FAITH is the woman, clothed with the Lord Jesus, in utter weakness, in the face of all opposition, screaming in labor.

In my weakness, Jesus says to me, “My presence inside of you, and enclothing you, is all that you need, for My Faith, the Faith of the Son of God, is made perfect and complete inside of your human weakness.” In the face of all opposition, every screaming wail shutting me down, whether from humans or demons, I look into Jesus alone, “Jesus, You are my Life, You are ENOUGH for me.”

Without full assurance of faith acknowledging that God IS [I AM], it is impossible to please God. – Blessed are those who believe My Word inside of them even when they see nothing.

Four Men. God comes Home only through faith in His Word, but against the entrance of that Word is arrayed the cruel strength of all human contempt and the withering scorn of all demonic accusation. God coming Home is pictured by the Ark of the Covenant standing in the midst of the Jordan while every single one who belongs to God passes through death and into the Life of Christ.

Consider those four men. What do they feel inside as the last Israelite arises up out of death and into Christ, even while they remain, the Ark on their shoulders, alone in the Jordan depths? They turn and walk quietly, with the wall of death screaming on one side and the sea of death beckoning on the other. What are they as God comes Home with them? – Full assurance of FAITH!

The Ability of Jesus. Full assurance of faith counters all attempts to limit and to sell the Atonement of Christ. But it does so by looking entirely into Jesus, the most capable Savior there could possibly be. The ability of Jesus to win our hearts – the ability of Jesus to remove our sins – the ability of Jesus to fulfill in us every Word God speaks – the ability of Jesus to connect us always with God our Father sharing life with us, this ABILITY is all inside of all.

The writer of Hebrews says that we have a VAST High Priest, and that He is able to hit the target for and as us to the uttermost. “Looking into Jesus, the Source and the Completion of our faith,” is way, way more than we have known. If “union with Christ” meant no personal Jesus, then where would we look except to ourselves?

Joining Together. God cannot come Home except through Jesus, for Jesus can do what neither God nor we could ever do. Jesus can connect with God inside of Himself. Jesus can connect with us inside of Himself. And there, inside His own Heart, Jesus can connect God and us together. And when we say, “Jesus,” we mean Spirit and Word always together, for they are never found separate from each other.

Speaking Christ made personal as us has done something for us we had not expected. It has made the Lord Jesus Christ grow ever larger and more capable in our sight. And this same Jesus, then, is also capable of fitting you and me together into God’s very House. Jesus is capable of Christ Community!

The Fulness of Times. One way we could say, “the fulness of times,” as it applies to this way for God to come Home, would be the blacksmithing idiom, “strike while the fire is hot,” or the farming idiom, “make hay while the sun shines.” Or we could use the Bard’s words to say the same thing. “There is a tide in the affairs of men which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune; omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat; and we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures.”

And there are tears on my face, for now is the time for Christ Community, for God coming Home, and I would not be left out. If God is doing something in the earth, how can I be found anywhere else?

What Do You Want? As this realization came to me, that I needed to bring in again the principles of completion and that Today is the Day of Salvation, I knew that I must insert a chapter into my outline, (An Experience of Completion), coming up next. In this next chapter I hope to set out, as clearly as I can, the meaning of the phenomenal events of April through December, 2022, the most miraculous experience of my life.

Let us be certain inside ourselves. The Age of Tabernacles has begun. We are inside of the Great TRAVAIL. It is the time of God coming Home through those who desire. The question for each one of us is this. Are we there, with our brethren, God coming Home, or are we busy doing something else? What do you want?

The Place of Church. God’s Home is the Church; our Home is the Church. The Church, which is His body, the fulness of Christ who fills all inside of all (Ephesians 1:23). – This is My full completion, that you love one another in full reciprocity, in just the same way that I love you.

All Completion for God and for us takes place only inside of the gathering together of a local Christ Community, believers in Jesus committed to one another, to walk together daily, loving one another with pure hearts fervently. We are being built together [by Jesus’ ability] into a dwelling place of God inside the sphere of Spirit (Ephesians 2). The Church upon this earth inside of heaven is Jerusalem.

God’s Way Home. Now, the entirety of the last lesson applies to this principle of completion, but here we are considering God’s way Home. The point is this. There must be local gatherings of Christ Community WANTING God to be at Home among them. They must want the Father among them SO MUCH that they call Him to be so in all.

And so, small groups of people acknowledging God-Love as all their connections together, that NOTHING found in their daily interactions is anything other than God among them, this alone, the Church on this earth, is God’s way Home. The Church is God’s Home, yes, but even more important right now, the Church is God’s way Home.

Calling Completion. I now understand the meaning and essence of “evil.” Evil is not a thing in itself, for all things come out from the good-speaking of Jesus. Evil is that spoken accusation against God inside all human souls together, anointed by demons and going forth as a flood intending to keep God out. And Christians calling God “evil” is its worst part. This cry is so horrifically LOUD, that if we were to hear even a tiny portion of it, it would kill us.

Nonetheless, there is another call going forth calling God in. This other call sounds tiny and impotent when placed against the horrific cries of accusation hurting God every moment.

Which call will prevail?

Now We Know. Small groups of believers in Jesus committed to walk together with one another daily, calling God as all their interactions together, Love among them, is real. And against the real, that paper-thin horror of human-demonic rage screaming against God to keep Him out vanishes as if it never was.

Ando so – Prepare yourselves together as a Highway for God – and – Calling God as having already inhabited us, His House, the incarnation of God – is our essential part of God’s way Home. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all the earth shall see it together. – Do you see these Christians loving one another? Now we know that God is True.

An Experience of Completion. At the heart of God coming Home is the action verb of the revelation of Jesus Christ – overcome. We now know that the overcomers overcome, not for themselves to “know God,” but for the sake of all believers in Jesus caught inside the hades of false “Christian” thinking. In this first part of our study, the six chapters of “Focus and Meaning,” we will include a look at the horrific accusation against God that became “Christian” thinking and how Victory over all of that comes through us.

But before we do that, I want to take you through the experience of Completion that God my Father shared with me and a handful of precious brethren in fellowship with me from April to December of the year of our Lord, 2022.
