14.1 The Root of Essence

We come out from God’s thoughts concerning us through the good-speaking of Jesus. Christ Jesus is the source and cause of our life and existence. Christ Jesus, the first one of our kind and the Tree of Life, defines what we are as humans. God gives Life to the Son; Jesus, alive inside our hearts, is our only life. We possess in Jesus the very life of God. We exist for Father’s sake, that God might be known through us.

Knowing the Father through knowing Jesus Sent into us is the essence and meaning of Life. God revealed through us is the Life of all creation. We are God made-known. Christ Jesus, written by Spirit as Word upon all the pathways of our hearts, is the Energeia of God; His power-filled Word, now our very hearts, sustains all created things.
 
The Power Flowing Through. God-Made-Known is the power that sustains all. For creation to live inside of the power of Life, God-Made-Known must flow freely, without hindrance. The power flowing through is the Father, Himself in Person, just being Himself in the knowing of all. Yet the Father always comes through Christ Jesus, Spirit and Word together. Thus Christ Jesus is always the Source of Life.

Christ Jesus is the speaking of Spirit-Anointed Words, thus speaking the same Words that are Christ is the Power that is God, the Father, sustaining all things. The Pattern Language we speak, then, is the very Words that are the fabric of God. Our voice is His voice; everything becomes and is sustained by His shared speaking.

The Pathway Itself. Our human and earthen forms are the very pathway through which God-Made-Known enters into all creation. We are as Jesus said, the one who sees us sees the Father. Our humanity is the pathway by which the essence of Life, the Father inside of Christ Jesus, every Word God speaks, effects all of creation. Our humanity, our human hearts of flesh, shapes and directs that very Flow of Life Power. Life, God-Made-Known, flows through our hearts. 

Everything that exists depends for its existence on the shape of our human hearts of flesh. Nothing is more important than the shaping of our hearts to contain and to reveal the very Heart of God. Our voices transmit the shape of our hearts. We speak what God says He is, now made personal as us.

A Flow of Gospel Words. Devoted Spirit comes upon – power overshadows – all authority given – Father gives – Spirit power upon – God gives generously – Every good comes out from Father – Out from God’s desire – Spirit causes to know things freely given – God energeoes all inside – He reigns – He places all underfoot – God gives Victory over death – written with the Spirit of God – power out from God – God dwells inside of and walks among – God-able weapons – Grace sufficient – Jesus makes complete inside – God commissions and sends forth the Spirit – the power of God carries into Salvation – God’s just approval made visible – the gift of God Himself – I have made you – God gives life and calls into existence – The law of the Spirit of Life makes free – The Spirit gives life – The Spirit joins as help and brings alongside – God pro-determines symmorphosed – He declares justly innocent and glorifies – He graces freely with all things.

Out from Him are all – God desires to make known – Christ is life – Christ is all inside of – the Word of Christ dwells richly inside – God speaks well of – God abounds in wisdom – God makes known His desire – God gives place and pro-determines – Christ energeoes all of God’s desire – Jesus fills everything – God abounds in mercy – Christ dwells inside – God fills with all of His fulness – God does more than imagined – power energeoes inside – God gives as ministry – Be empowered – Jesus completes and accomplishes – God energeoes His desire inside – Jesus transforms appearance – Jesus causes to be subject – the peace of God keeps – God pours out the Spirit abundantly – God saves by His purpose – Jesus abolishes death and brings life – God speaks inside the Son – Jesus sustains by His power-filled Word – All authority given – Grace out from God – Jesus eats up death for the sake of – The Word of God is living and energeoing; it penetrates, divides, and judges.

Jesus causes age-unfolding Salvation – God swears by oath – God’s desire makes devoted – God conceives into hope – the power of God keeps and carries into salvation – God’s enabling presence carries – The living and abiding Word conceives – All becomes through Jesus as Word – Jesus gives authority to become – conceived out from God – The Word becomes flesh and dwells among – Jesus gives water as Life arising inside – the Father loves the Son – Jesus gives life - the Spirit gives life – the Words Jesus speaks are Spirit and life – Jesus is resurrection and life – Jesus connects with the Father – Jesus makes Himself visible – God and Jesus make their home with – God sends the Spirit – the Word makes pure – Jesus gives His glory – Jesus sends as Himself – the Father gives Love – God gives age-unfolding life inside His Son – Jesus is presently come and gives a through-mind – Jesus gives to eat of the Tree of Life – Jesus gives authority – Jesus gives all of Himself – Jesus gives life freely.

Acknowledging God as Father. There is one God, the Father. It is clear in all these verses that God initiates all, and that Spirit and Son are channels through which God comes. It is the Spirit and the Son always together, Christ Jesus living now as us, who speaks the honor of the Father alone. Life is known in all created things by the acknowledgement of God as Father, thus our pattern language is our life.

Our words, then must recognize God as Father, God as Source, God as all – period. The words God speaks never rattle off “the Trinity.” I believe this is important. Let the acknowledgement of God as Father, God alone, fill our conversation. Then we speak of the Spirit and the Son in their place, but as out from God.

A Flow of Our Words. Thank You, Father. Father, I acknowledge You. Father, You share my life with me. Father, You are altogether glorious to me. Father, this part of me belongs to You, You keep me. Father, You give all freely to me; You give Yourself generously. Father, You give me Your wisdom, Your power, Your strength. Though I remain weak in myself, I am never alone, for You are utterly with me.

Father, You and I together turn this awful circumstance into goodness for the sake of others. Father, all of Your goodness flows through our shared faith. Father, I come only out from You, and You are devoted to me first; You give me all of Your fullness generously and freely.

The Tension. For something to live, it must have life spoken into it. There is no life without God giving it. There is no understanding without God imparting it, God immediately and at hand. Genesis One – the earth is empty, even without form – until God speaks into it. It “exists” but there is no meaning. Language is given. There is no human thought without words given first, words coming from outside. Nothing created can be good in itself. No created capacity can perceive or detect God. Creation cannot know God of itself. Creation can only be subject to vanity.

The ACT of God towards us must come from God, and it must be both generous and with all the sacrifice of giving.

The Entrance of Perversion. Make God out to be arrogant and controlling and you have done the same with Jesus. Conversely, if Jesus is far away, “far above,” then God must be farther still. The greatest sin inside Christianity was inserting “of Us” into Genesis 3:22, that the devil defines God, that God knows evil. Thus “Jesus” becomes the one who “conquers.” No longer “sustaining all by His power-filled Word,” now he shoots the arrows of condemnation – making all to feel guilty, the “above-you” Jesus.

The purpose of “wokeness,” of the removal of “man and woman,” of “he or she,” is to eliminate from the structures of human thought any place for the “FATHER,” anywhere that the Father might dwell. It is the essence of cruelty.

A Flow of Darkness. “Jesus is perfect, and you are NOT.” “Get up out of yourself and get into Jesus.” “Jesus is coming – someday.” “I am an unworthy sinner ‘going to’ heaven someday.” “I am a ‘dead man walking.’ ‘I’ don’t exist anymore.”

“I am the master of my own fate, the Captain of my soul.” “I control you.” – “You can do anything you set your mind to.” “You can accomplish your dreams.” “You can conquer your world.” – “Make the world a better place.” “I begin with myself.” “I am right; I am right; I am right.” “Anyone who says, ‘God is with me,’ is a deceiver.” “God is with me, that makes me superior.”

These words are all the primary power that kills.

The Actions of Overcoming. Acknowledging God the Father as Source, utterly with me, is clearly the POWER that flows through all things.

The action of overcoming is always some aspect of placing the Lord Jesus, in His various abilities, upon ourselves through the utter confidence of our/His faith. Yet the flow of Gospel Word shows us the urgent and eager immediacy of God pressing towards us through Spirit and Word. Thus our consciousness becomes filled with God-with-me. This is how Jesus walked; we walk the same. We walk always in the fear of God, never taking “God-with-me” for ourselves, thus we are never afraid of God. And for this reason, our prayer ending of “Father, You have answered us,” expresses the central power of our overcoming all.

The Meaning of Victory. I am thinking ahead to “the principles of Kingdom building” and I realize that my thoughts for “the meaning of Victory” are the same. This confirms to me that it is Victory out from which all things inside the Kingdom are formed.

Victory, then, is simply God acknowledged as present in every action and in all places. God acknowledged as present is LIFE. Death is not known in the presence of Life. Yet God’s greatest honor is His Word. Thus when we, by the Spirit, speak Christ made personal as us, God is glorified above all, and death flees away; no one remembers it.

Personal Fellowship. “I will meet with you and visit with you about everything.” God likes to talk; that’s why our Bibles are so big. God-talking is Jesus. God also likes to listen to us talk. But He lives for the back and forth flow of conversation. God is Fellowship. We could even say that God is a “Tom Bombadil” sort of Fellow. Always there singing and laughing, always ready to help. Unaffected by any trouble, busy always about the love of His life – the Church.

Then we turn and fellowship with one another in the same way, but always inside of God’s acknowledged presence as part of our conversing. Thus it is the family gathered around the table, eating together in the joy and laughter of a shared life that is the greatest VISIBILITY and Joy of God.

Relationship with other Pathways. Most of the verses providing our “flow of gospel words” contain the female to “the root of essence,” which is “the means of devotion,” our reciprocity back to God. This is not us in agreement, which is “acknowledging response,” but rather us as sons in return to the Father. Many of the verses include the fact that this flow between Life and Devotion flows through Love.

Then, to one side of Life is the entrance of God, meek and lowly of Heart, the Ekenosis, the Eucharist, giving thanks inside of and for the sake of all. But to the other side of Life is the Church, the face of Jesus, God made visible, the appearance of God forever.

Two Principles for Kingdom Building.
Synergeia: Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all to the glory of God the Father. – I am about My Father’s business. – The Father dwelling inside of Me does His works. Our small candle flame is the touch point of God’s pillar of Fire upon the earth. In everything that is built, we acknowledge God with us as the one doing the work.

Symmorphy: Every space on earth inside of heaven, every space in our living, is a Home for God, His resting place. God our Father at Home inside the spaces of our hearts is what drew us all the way into the Most Devoted Place. Now, a Home for Father in every nook and cranny of created things is what draws us out again, setting creation free. 

Guiding and Influencing. “The Father is with you.” “The Word of Christ dwells in you richly.” “The Spirit enables you in all.”

I want to underline this truth. The evil one rules, not by inserting a different “power” into human affairs, a different “river,” but rather by confusing the human mind concerning the Source of everything. A libertarian governance, then, “theocracy,” is best expressed by Paul in Galatians 6, I paraphrase. “If your brother or sister is in any kind of difficulty, restore them to their own knowledge of God-with-me in a Spirit of gentleness.”

I am the Source and the Completion. I am the first to arise out from death, and the last, carrying the last little one who belongs to Me safely in My arms.

Building and Protecting. “See that you build all things according to the Pattern.” The instructions of Jesus to us in the Gospels show us who and what He is, but “trying to do them” does not. Rather, we keep our eyes on Him as He arises in us. His instructions, then are part of what we see, and thus we are just like Him.

Jesus is our pattern in every conceivable way. If it’s not Jesus; it has nothing to do with us. Yet it is a Home for Father we are building after the Pattern of Jesus, a place where Father is safe. There, in every place Father is safe, we also have a Home, a place of safety and provision. Life flowing through, the Father known through Spirit and Word, is the shaping of everything we build, the essence we protect.

Interaction and Sharing. Interaction and sharing, culture and conversation, these are what our pattern language is for, that we might speak Truth. Yet truth includes no sufficiency in self and all sufficiency in God. “God with us” is the mainstay of all our expression.

There is a continual conversation, a purpose behind all interaction and sharing, that includes the Father made known, and does so without religiosity or pretension. It’s just normal. I knew a full taste of this way of living and conversing through my years at the Blueberry Community. The acknowledgment of Father is also called Love. A society in which Father is acknowledged in all the interactions of daily life contains a Goodness and Abundance way beyond what humans have ever considered.

Our Conclusion. The primary line of the Pathway titled “The Root of Essence” or “Life” is “sustaining all things by His power-filled Word.” And then, “The Spirit gives Life; the words I speak to you are Spirit and Life.” – Speak the same word that is Jesus by the power of the Spirit you share with Him. Yet we are overwhelmed at the urgent and eager immediacy of God our Father pressing through Christ Jesus into us, that He might know us and be known by us. Fellowship.

Let me paraphrase from Jeremiah 29. For I know the thoughts I think that become you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, of sharing life together in agreement, with no thought of evil. You will speak with Me and Wwe will fellowship together. You will know Me with all your heart, just as I know you.

The entrance of contempt is what brought all war and conflict into the human experience. The entrance of a meek and lowly Heart, seeing others as “better,” is what brings all peace into God’s experience and ours. Peace is the liberty and the commitment, the agreement, to walk together inside of Love.

Let’s Pray Together. “God, our Father, we are Your voice inside of creation. Every Word You speak, the Lord Jesus, is inside of our mouth, as the Gospel says. Father, You have seized hold of us and You keep us utterly inside Your Heart with all Power. Here, inside Your throne, we recognize and acknowledge that all things come out from You, sustained in Power through Jesus our only Life.

“And Father, we call every next circumstance, and especially the most difficult ones, not as You towards us, but rather as You sharing all with us, that we might be clothed with the Lord Jesus towards all that offends, that we might with Him swallow up sin and death as His very presence made known.

“Yet Father, we recognize fully that, although we are Safe inside of You, neither You nor we yet possess our Home together inside of creation, the Church, our dwelling place. We are aware of the evil one continuing everywhere accusing You of falseness inside Your Church. We are aware of the stronghold of darkness continuing to sit upon the understanding of our Christian brethren, preventing them from knowing the Glorious Salvation in which they fully live.

“Father, it is Your Power flowing through our authority now that breaks that darkness and that casts down the accuser. Inside of the name of Jesus, we break our brothers and sisters free of the darkness; we silence the accuser in their souls. Father, Your Kingdom is come, Your great Desire for a Home for you and for us together is now upon the earth. For You in Power, oh Father, are the Answer of our lives.”.
