23.3 Jesus as Seed

© 2016 Christ Revealed Bible Institute

Jesus as Lord bears upon His own shoulders the ENTIRE responsibility to fulfill all that the Father intends, that is, to bring you and me forth as God’s body, as God-Revealed.

What Is a Reigning Lord? Our Sustaining Word is Bible words having come forth from Father, entering into us by the Spirit as Jesus alive in our hearts. Sustaining Word is the Seed of God by which you and I are conceived of God, by which we are being formed as Christ in the womb of the church, and by which we will come forth in the resurrection as the many-membered Son of God.

Now We Know
And this Reigning Lord is Jesus as the cross-bar of human DNA, connecting us in all ways as one Pperson together with Father. As we put the Lord Jesus Christ upon ourselves, upon all that we are, spirit, soul, and body, upon our entire self-story, then Sustaining Word becomes the entirety of our being. It already was, but now we KNOW.

No one comes to the Father except through Me. Because most of our brethren do not live INSIDE of Jesus in their knowledge, they allow the accuser to recast these words into what amounts to gross unbelief, calling death, “Jesus.”Jesus is the only way to heaven.

The Only Seed - Many
Jesus, our Loaf-Giver, is the ONLY Seed by which we are conceived and by which we are being formed. And Jesus, Sustaining Word, is the ONLY connection between us and Father, binding us as One Pperson together.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. – Man lives by EVERY word proceeding forth from the mouth of God. Christ is Many Words, and every one of those words is the DNA of God forming us for the birthing, and every one of those words rests as its own connection between our person and Father’s Person, that is, Covenant.

Jesus as Seed
Every Word of the Covenant IS Jesus as SEED inside of us, forming us, and as Connection between us and Father. And every Word in the Bible, as each one finds its place inside of Christ and under the Covenant, becomes Jesus as SEED forming us and as Connection binding us together with Father. We have already looked at Jesus as Connecting Word, but because of the sessions coming up, I want to explore more deeply Word as the Seed by which we are conceived of God. At the very moment that the sperm DNA from the father enters into the egg DNA of the mother, there is an instantaneous and complete union between the two DNA’s. That union is marked by a spark of light.

Human DNA
Let’s bring in a quote from the Internet.

The main event of conception is the uniting of the mother and father's chromosomes to form a new, unique human being. Let's delve into the fascinating world of your chromosomes.

All of your body's cells contain chromosomes, which are packages of DNA strands; DNA holds the map of your genes. If you're a human, 46 is the magic number: we have 46 chromosomes, in 23 matched pairs. One chromosome in each pair was contributed by your father, and one by your mother. Every cell in your body contains your complete genetic blueprint, or your genome, in the 46 chromosomes in its nucleus (Ingender). http://www.ingender.com/gender-info/conception2.aspx

A Union of Chromosomes
So, let’s get this right. Each side bar in the diagram is called a chromosome. One side bar is from the father and the other side bar is from the mother. The connecting bars, apparently, happen at the union of father seed and mother seed.

This article is SO fascinating. I suggest that you read it, and the others with it, thinking in terms of Male Word and Female Faith, and those literally inside our second birth. I intend to purchase current explanations of DNA; they will figure strongly in Covenant.

Conceived a Second Time
What I intend to do here is to use the concepts from the articles to talk about our own second conception. You must be conceived a second time (John 3:3).

Wow. I am just enthralled reading these articles from ingender.com!

The female egg (faith) is the largest cell in the human body, visible to the naked eye, about the size of a mustard seed, say. There are a set number of eggs from birth, about 400 of which will become available as potential recipients of conception. The male sperm (word) is the smallest cell of the human body, but the only cell that moves by its own action. Yet millions of sperm cells are generated daily.

A Profusion of Word
The word of the Lord by which all things are sustained is continuously being generated by God. And that word comes constantly (swiftly –Psalms 147:15) to each individual person and entity in heaven/earth. But the word is seldom heard by humans, and even more seldom is it believed. That is, only now and then does a word penetrate faith in order to bring forth the life of the Father that is in it.

What happens at the moment of conception is, however, the single most astonishing reality in all of creation. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself (John 5:26).

Receiving All from Father
Wow. Augustine claimed that Jesus was not dependent on the Father for His own Being. Jesus disagreed.

Yet, because Jesus exists only IN the Father, as He said, Jesus’ submission to the Father MEANS that whatever the Father possesses as a quality in Himself, He has given to the Son, to the Word, to the Seed, to possess in Himself as His own quality. By John 5:26 we KNOW that whatever Jesus is as the Father’s chromosome, He is what the Father is – Life.

BUT, and this is beyond extraordinary. The Father’s chromosome is only half of what makes the DNA by which a son of the living God is formed.

One Whole Person
“Fully God and fully man.” I am ambivalent about this expression. If it means One nature only, then it is true, but if the phrase imparts the idea of a “God” nature and a “man” nature tacked loosely together, then it is not true.

The moment the two chromosomes attach together, one from God and the other from man, the new LIFE that is to be formed from that union is one whole person. Sustaining Word is far more a part of who and what we ARE than we have ever considered or allowed. And John did not say, “The Word is God,” He said, “God is the Word.”

Unique and Complete
Let’s take “one nature” a bit further. When I look at each of my children, I like to try to figure out what part of them is from me, their father, and what part of them is from their mother. And my conclusion is always that such silly curiosity is false. For each one of my children is entirely their own person. Yet the interlacing of their mother and father, coming through their genes, is complete. Yet that interlacing forms together in a completely unique and personal way.

If my wife and I had 1,000 children, each of them would be utterly unique and complete in themselves and quite different from each other, yet each would be the two of us fully entwined together.

Good Word
Jesus as Lord enters into us as every good word God speaks.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).

We are thinking entirely inside the picture of the Male DNA of Father entering into perfect union with the human Female DNA of our faith, by which we are conceived again, and inside the question, What Is a Reigning Lord? Let’s paraphrase this line from the Greek, as it should read.

The Good Speaking God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, speaks Good Word into us with all Spirit good speaking that exists in the heavens in Christ.

A Blast of Word
Our physical body is only one part of our human construction. As that one part, it is designed entirely by the conjunction of 23 pairs of chromosomes. But being sons of God is a bit more than being formed by 23 paired chromosomes (thus we are delivered from the idea of coming up with 23 ways by which Jesus connects us with Father). In complete contrast to that necessary limitation in the physical, we are conceived of God by a veritable blast of ALL that God speaks into all that we are.

Whoa! – Okay? Word, without measurement or end.

The Appearance of Father
Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). May I suggest that there is more in this line than we have ever considered?

The Word of His Power is not just the pattern by which we are created, it IS our creation, to its full measure, which is without count or end. Yet we know this Word of POWER by these words, “I am meek and lowly of heart.” And thus we look at our HUMANITY as it is, and we know that we are the appearance of our Father.

Turn Around
And thus we know that when we touch someone with kindness, when we give a cup of cold water to one who is thirsty, when we comfort the discouraged, when we bring renewed joy to the brokenhearted, we ARE the revelation of God Almighty. If I could but grab every single Christian on this earth and turn them utterly around, I would do so; I would surely do so.

The dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live (John 5:25). – My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them life eonian, and they shall never perish (John 10:27-28a). We hear what we speak, and what we speak arises out of what is written upon our hearts.

Union
The first thing that happens after the male sperm (Word) enters the female egg (Faith) is that the solitary chromosomes in the Word match themselves with the solitary chromosomes in Faith. This pairing of chromosomes, one from the Father and one from the mother, becomes the blueprint by which the new child, whole and complete, is formed.

The DNA of a son of God, then, is the full union between divine Word (God is the Word) and human Faith, the Faith of the Son of God. Yet that union is a full and aggressive match, Word with Faith, Faith with Word. In the human metaphor, that matching happens 23 times and then repeats in every cell in the body.

Faith
Faith has nothing to do with “just believing’ Bro.’”

He that eats My flesh and drinks My blood has life eonian (John 6). Eating our very Loaf-Giver is the same reality as this union of chromosomes that creates us in our second birth. This eating is by faith, not by works, for this IS Salvation, becoming what we are and thus escaping what we are not.

It is this complete and aggressive fusion of the Divinity of Father God with the Humanity of you and me, Christ in us, that is God’s intention from the beginning. Faith places God in us, the One who does all that He speaks; the human attempt to “do” the Word places God far away.

 Word
And we can also see that Word is far more than we have ever considered. And yes, we are referring to the words on the pages of the Bible, coming into us by the Holy Spirit.

As John said, God is the Word in the left column. Our faith is our aggressive and active response to that Word, that it IS true in all ways, that it is our very life. Faith is specific to the Word God speaks.

Now, understand the meaning of the DNA metaphor; you and I are constructed entirely by both chromosomes as One.

So Many Metaphors
I am just amazed at the many ways by which God convinces us that we are, in fact, conceived of God. Know Jesus Sent – Hear the Voice of the Son of God (we hear what we speak) – the Word is in your mouth – Put on the Lord Jesus Christ – Eat My flesh and drink My blood – You must be conceived again – Christ in you, the hope of glory – As He is, so are we in this age.

We are speaking of the Father’s hope of glory. God cannot be seen and known by another, not really. For God to be seen and known, it must be the Father in Person. Yet His Person is revealed only through many persons, each one unique and complete, each one of His same kind.

A Sustaining Word
As I consider the metaphor of human conception, picturing for us, as Jesus said, our second conception, I see things that go into the session on What Is the Church and the session on What Is the Manchild. And I see that this word is way too much for one bite. Thus we expect our knowledge of our second conception to grow, bit by bit. For we must always turn such knowledge around, knowing that our Father has chosen us in our weakness as His dwelling place.

What is a Reigning Lord? Jesus, the One who fills our hearts with His glory, the One who carries us in all that we are through death and into LIFE.
