16. The Kingdom of Darkness

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (Colossians 1:13).

The kingdom of God is positioned against the kingdom of darkness. God transferred us in totality from that kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His Son the very moment we received Jesus as Savior. More than that, the entirety of the kingdom of darkness was put to death upon the cross of Christ.

However, God has ordained this two-thousand year transition time in which the kingdom of darkness continues in appearance only, though not in substance. It is God's purpose that we learn of Christ our only life as all victory over all that accuses God of falseness.

Thus it is by our standing against the false appearance of the darkness that we come to know the depths of Christ in us - Jesus faithful and true. To know Christ as the Victorious Warrior, however, requires that we possess a godly understanding of the darkness and its purpose as the setting of God's victory through us.

Lesson 16.1 The Angelic Realms presents a present understanding of the angelic realms particularly in relation to man, who remains the master, in spite of all the horror unleashed by man.

Lesson 16.2 Principalities and Powers delves into the operation of fallen angelic powers and how they operate in human lives. The lesson makes use of the illustration of worms and viruses in the physical as being very similar to the operation of unclean spirits in the human spirit.

Lesson 16.3 Spiritual Warfare discusses how we establish our victory over all the power of the evil one, primarily by casting all accusation out of our own heavens as we remain entirely inside the Lord Jesus Christ. We fight, now, not for ourselves, but for the sake of our brethren.
