6. Christ as a Spirit of Power
Paul said that the last Adam;a life-giving spirit and the second MAN is the Lord out from heaven (1 Corinthians 15:45-47). Jesus said "The words that I speak to you are Spirit and they are life" (John 6:63).Christ is a life-giving Spirit, a Spirit of power, Spirit that comes in the form or pattern of words, words that come by the medium of Spirit.
Inside the context of Kingdom, this Spirit Word that IS Jesus envelops and sustains each one of us, yes, but also connects us together as one body. We drink of and are immersed into the same Spirit.
Thus we see that this same One who now lives as us, also lives as us together as His body. And He does so as He is now among us, a very human Spirit of power out from the realms of the heavens.
It is this connecting Spirit of power that is Jesus that makes us the church. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
Lesson 6.1 A Spirit Word uses the example of a computer, electrical power carrying in itself the written code, written code coming to your screen in the form of electrical power, as a means of understanding how we always know Jesus as Spirit Word, that Jesus and Spirit and Word cannot ever be separated in our understanding.
Lesson 6.2 Drinking One Spirit reveals to us how we are made one body as we share together in the same One Spirit. We live and breathe inside the same Spirit Word, the same power code. This illustration also enables us to understand the nature of our own heart energy field that extends out from each of us connecting us together inside the One Spirit.
Lesson 6.3 Spirit Connections shows how the true witness of Christ is His body, brethren moving together as one in the same Spirit. It is the connections of Spirit among us that make us one body and that reveal Christ to the world. The Kingdom of God is in existence as you and I act together out from freedom, but inside the same One Spirit.
