20. How Will They Hear?

© Daniel Yordy – 2019

Base Assumption: Christ lives in your hearts through faith.

First Extension of that Assumption: The Words that Jesus speaks inside of us are Spirit and they are Life.

Second Extension of that Assumption: You are a letter of Christ written with Spirit ink upon the tablets of your fleshy heart.

Secondary Assumption: John’s vision is primarily John’s confirmation of Paul’s gospel in a third form.

Extension of these Two Assumptions: The “book of life” and the Scroll in the hand of the Lamb is nothing other than the biggest and most miraculous display of glory recorded in the Bible – Christ Jesus in Person written as Spirit ink all through the pathways of our hearts. – That they might be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory – That the love with which You love Me might be inside of them and I inside of them (John 17). – In that day you shall know that I AM inside of the Father AND you inside of Me and I inside of you (John 14:20).

Outward Appearance: The Church knows nothing of and does not see the glorious salvation in which she already lives.

Cause of the Veil Cast upon the Church: A series of demonic powers each speaking the words of the serpent translated into “Christian theology” inside the mental strongholds of the minds of Christians contrary to the Jesus whom they also know inside their hearts.

Solution: The mightiest deliverance service in history, consisting of seven specific moments of deliverance.

The Name of this Deliverance Service: The fulfillment of the Day of Atonement in the life of the Church.

You see, human reason, bathed in the Spirit of God and operating as a servant of Jesus now living as us, by reasoning out from the ruling definitions of the Bible, causes us to see the cryptic and murky symbols of John’s visions as God intends them to be, a glorious and incredibly perfect unfolding to us of the revelation of Jesus Christ. Who would have guessed? Especially when that’s the name of the book!

The next three chapters are “Placing Revelation 11,” Placing Revelation 12,” and “Placing Revelation 13.” In each of these specific contexts, I hope to enlarge on the meaning, place, and power of this mighty deliverance service.

At the same time, the three chapters, “The Eucharist, “Intercession,” and “Synergeia,” established the power and function of the Mercy Seat of our hearts as the actual place where this deliverance of God’s people is happening.

We must never consider one moment of our present, daily, ongoing lives as anything other than God having seized us into Himself and into His authority given to us, to consider each of our moments as the necessary pressures and travails of our synergeoing with God in effecting that great deliverance.

Consider the question of this letter: How will they hear? Isaiah says that the ears are plugged with wax. Paul says that a veil is cast upon the understanding. John says that you and I cast down the accuser out from their minds.

But – let’s position that last statement in terms of logic.

Base Assumption: You and I cast down the accuser out from our position of overcoming by the blood of the Lamb, the Word of our testimony, and our complete confidence in the cross of Christ.

Outward Appearance: A Church, millions of Spirit-filled believers in Jesus who do not know the glory and the Salvation in which they already fully live.

Cause of the Ignorance: The ideas of the serpent written through their religious intellects in contradiction to the Jesus they do know living in their hearts. These ideas are in the form of words, including many Bible verses all in the wrong places, and empowered by spirits of darkness. – who accuses them in the face and presence of God day and night.

Conclusion: The Battle depicted by the Ruling Base Assumption of Revelation 12:10-11 is occurring inside the minds of our brethren.

Hence – John is saying that you and I cast down the accuser out from their minds. And in the letter, “Placing Revelation 12,” we will look at Michael’s part with us right now as we are synergeoing together with God for the sake of our brethren.

Our brethren do not hear because there is a blockage in their ears. Remove the blockage and the Words that are Christ Jesus Himself will flow freely into them through “Let it be to me.

Our task is to remove that blockage, and we do so through faith.

Let’s bring that in. When I was doing my extensive word studies of the book of Revelation years ago, taking every phrase and symbol in revelation all through the Bible and writing down every Bible verse, Old Testament and New, where those words or symbols were found, I found myself writing out verses from 1 John more than from any other book.

Beyond 1 John, then, the most frequent other books from which I was writing verses were John’s gospel, Genesis, and Daniel, although the study included most all the books of the Bible. And in this exercise of writing hundreds and hundreds of verses so that I could see them before my eyes, coming out through my fingers, I had long since left behind me the wicked practice of “figuring out” what these things have to mean. All I wanted was for these precious and holy words to find their place inside my heart. Indeed, it was through this exercise during my early thirties, that Romans 8:29 began to take shape inside of me, beyond my mental understanding, as the ruling verse of the Bible.

In actuality, the primary understanding I took away from this endless writing of verses over several years was that, when God would give us His understanding of John’s vision, we would use 1 John, the gospel explained, as our definition and guide in interpreting everything written in John’s vision. Now that I come back to that earlier conclusion, I see that it makes perfect sense.

On that basis, we freely use 1 John 5:4-5 as our rule by which we interpret every mention of “overcome” in John’s vision. – For all who have been conceived out from God overcome the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. Who now is the one overcoming the world, if not the one believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

And again – This is the work of God, that you should believe into Him whom He sent (John 6:29).

Since faith comes first, with the entrance of the Lord Jesus into us through that faith, for that reason we understand that every statement of “overcoming” in John’s vision must be interpreted out from faith, from asking and believing that we have received and from speaking Christ our only life.

We read – To the one presently and actively overcoming, I will give him to eat out from the tree of life – in this way. Because I ask the Father and because I eat of all that the Lord Jesus is and means, Christ in Person becoming me, therefore I overcome.

BUT – we do not overcome for ourselves, except as we first learn Christ our life; now, having turned around, we overcome for the sake of our brethren. Once we have learned being the Mercy Seat, then “overcoming” for ourselves is the unbelief that refuses to enter the Holy. Overcoming for the sake of our brethren is now the expression of Christ through us.

More than that, overcoming for the sake of our brethren is the very means by which we come to know in full measure Jesus Sent into us.

So – How do they hear? Simple – pop the wax out of their ears.

What is the wax? The wax is anti-Words anointed by anti-Spirit coming into their minds through anti-faith and hogging the places of thinking that belong only to the good-speaking of Christ.

I read a book once on spiritual warfare that I will not recommend to you to read, that’s why I’m not sharing the title. The reason is, very simply that this ministry, in pursuing a knowledge of victory over demon spirits, went too far in pursuit of that “knowledge,” resulting in just more oppressive darkness. Nonetheless, I did glean one piece of understanding from this ministry before they had begun to contribute the wrong things.

Very simply, this ministry shared the experience they had on more than one occasion, when, during the course of presenting the gospel to an unregenerate person, they paused part way through and prayed, inside themselves, binding the blocking demons and casting them down. Before that prayer, only non-receptive ignorance was on the face of the person to whom they were speaking. After casting down the blocking demon, the person’s face came alive and they gladly received the good words of the gospel.

I am inserting this anecdote here because this specific action of ministry is actually what the breaking off of the seals in Revelation 6 is all about, this deliverance is what the Lamb is accomplishing as He “opens” each one of the seals.

The layout that appeared before our eyes in the letter, “To Overcome,” is just astonishing in its practicality towards our task right now inside this most critical moment of Church history. Let’s put it again into a table. It is by seeing these things anew that the victory of the Lord Jesus Christ is unveiled to us.

In fact, just creating the table, before filling it in, I see that “The Deliverance” of which we are speaking is not now “for us,” even though we have learned to live inside of these mighty realities. But rather, as we give thanks in every moment as synergeoing with Father, so these incredible realities in which we live go forth in power to join with Michael in casting the words of the serpent out of the minds of our brethren.

The Blockage of the Seal in the Ears.
From Revelation 6 & 8.
  The Deliverance of our Overcoming
From Revelation 2-3.
#1. Lusting after the above-you Christ. Defeated by Eating Christ as our present life.
# 2. Abusing others in the Church. Defeated by Humbling ourselves with Father.
# 3. Limiting the Atonement. Defeated by Knowing full Redemption.
# 4. Exalting Death above Jesus. Defeated by Taking the authority of Life.
# 5. Refusing to enter through unbelief. Defeated by Putting on the Lord Jesus Christ.
# 6. Hiding and Pretending. Defeated by Seeing Christ in our brethren.
# 7. Accusing God of everything “wrong.” Defeated by Giving thanks as Mercy for all.

Our motivation in this great exercise, then, is the “8th” overcoming, and that is taking possession of all that belongs to us (Revelation 21).

Okay, we are ready now to lay out the real purpose of this letter. In the last two letters, “To Overcome” and “The Primacy of Death,” the Lord introduced to us the concept of our being engaged right now in a mighty deliverance service for the sake of our brethren.

And I will insert this here, as I likely will elsewhere. As I have had a few days distance, now, from writing “To Overcome,” I am beginning to recognize something big has happened deep inside my knowing.

As I wrote that letter, something happened that I was not expecting. I was NOT expecting the seals and the overcomings to fit perfectly together. I was hoping to see Christ, certainly, but He arose inside His Word far beyond anything I could have imagined.

Going through this layout, as you see the condensed version in the Table just above, has put an even deeper certainty inside of me, a certainty that we must have to stand in the place of our ministry right now for the sake of the Church.

We are conducting a deliverance service. That deliverance service is our intercession for the Church of Jesus Christ all across this earth.

We must understand the problem.

Isaiah said that their ears have grown dull of hearing. We consider, then, wax in the ear.
That “wax” is one thing only, the presence and working of demon spirits.

Here is a Christian in whatever theology such a Christian might be found, Pentecostal or Union with Christ, or whatever, who is convinced that demon spirits cannot have anything to do with themselves, since “no Christian can have a demon.”

Yet when I consider the verses of the Bible, as I see them entering into such a one, including those who adhere to Norman Grubb, I see that they hear those verses as Satan’s words teaches humans to hear them. And when I consider the words that they speak, while I do see the good words of Christ in their mouth, I also see the words of the serpent in the garden coming through their lips.

No demon can shadow my heart, filled with Christ alone, or my spirit, now one with the Holy Spirit. I personally reject all demonic anything inside of my story of self, speaking, in my self-story, Christ alone. Nonetheless, I am fully aware, out from years of practical spiritual warfare in myself and for others, when a demon is attempting to turn my eyes and my hearing and the words of my mouth by weight of oppression. And I am fully aware when that demon loses his tenuous hold and vanishes.

As I have taught regarding spiritual warfare, particularly in Symmorphy III: Kingdom, demons have no authority over humans, but humans have all authority over demons. No demon can possess a human, but humans are perfectly free to have any demon they want as their pet.

Can a Christian have a dog as a pet? Can a Christian be bitten by a dog? In the same way, a Christian is perfectly free from Christ and able to enjoy the accusations of demons in confirming the rage they feel in their unthankfulness and refusal to forgive. And just as a Christian is capable of being bitten by a dog, so that same Christian is capable of being bitten by a demon. To say that a Christian cannot be injured by a demon is to say that a Christian cannot be injured by an animal. There is no difference whatsoever.

Let me go out on a limb with practical application.

Whenever I have become aware of any demon pressuring me inside my frame, that demon is found in what place only. That place of demonic pressure, in my own years of experience walking in victory in spiritual warfare, is specifically in the area of the lower cortex of my brain. In other words, I sense oppression inside my frame, the persistence of an entity that is not me, in that place at the bottom back of my skull extending its weight down towards my heart and extending its pain up towards my mental perception.

Consider that position, for it is the place of connection in our human makeup. That is, the place where our heart connects to our mouth and our brain connects to our ears. In other words, the demon comes to that one place in the human sphere where he can alter the words coming into our ears and the words coming out of our mouth.

A demon has one power only, the ability to speak words, along with the ability to “anoint” feelings. Yet those words are also anointed by the power of subtlety, that is, the demon has the anointing to “hypnotize” the human, so to speak, in imagining that the demon’s words are nothing more than the thoughts of his own mind.

Then, in my several times of mighty deliverance inside the demonstration of the Spirit and power, this was my experience. The moment darkness broke lose from my ignorance and became known, it swirled as a mighty anger in the area just above and just back from my heart, near the base of the neck, but sort of in the upper back part of the throat. And in the moment they lose their hold and are gone forever, I felt them vanish in a pop out of the top back of my neck.

Now, I have no idea what another person would say of their own experience, nor am I making this layout some sort of “doctrine.” What I want is understanding, that we might see where and how the demons operate inside the Christian sphere. They sit just behind the voice box where they can direct the hearing of the ears and the speaking of the mouth, and from whence they can send oppression down upon the heart and pain up into the mental perception. And I suspect that many of you can actually identify with this layout.

The seven seals are seals upon the ear, preventing the Christian from hearing what the Spirit is saying to the Churches. And we can identify the presence of those blockages by the words coming out of the Christian’s mouth, the words of their religious self-story.

And those seals are specific demons who are given specific tasks by their fearful overlords.

Let’s list those specific tasks out from the seven seals.

Task #1. Keep the Christian’s eyes on the super-Christ far above and away from the Jesus in glory inside their hearts. Do this by whispering “should be, should be, should be,” over and over.

Task #2. Affirm by whisperings every instance of offence inside the Christian. Whisper words of contempt. Stroke the feelings of superiority. Pour out condemnation and more viciousness when the Christian strikes out to control others.

Task #3. Anoint the preachers to limit the Atonement. Keep tight the “religious orthodoxy” in the Christian’s mind regarding a salvation far away. Whisper that it will all be okay when they are dead.

Task # 4. Whenever the Christian mind tends towards Christ, make sure they are seeing Christ on the other side of Death only. Maintain the supremacy of Death as the savoir who takes us to God fulfilled and Death as the place where all that God speaks is released. It is even more critical here to keep the preachers saying the right words.

Task #5. Whisper the condemnation of sin in the flesh. Exalt “the dealings of God,” the “dealings” that never end nor ever bear fruit. Keep the veil closed tight in the seeing of the Christian. Emphasize insufficiency and falling short.

Task #6. Play the game, offer the masks, provide the hiding places, dance the dance, put on the masquerade.

Task #7. Accuse. Accuse God. Accuse the Christian. Accuse other Christians. Accuse God. Accuse God. Accuse.

Wow! Okay. Let’s take a good bath inside the joy of Christ our only life.

Now, in Designed by Word, the Lord gave us a list of four things by which we connect with each believer in Jesus with whom the Lord brings us into contact, first, knowing how much they love us, second, showing them the Jesus of their hearts, third, showing them how every word in the Bible is this same Jesus, and fourth, revealing Father to them through little acts of kindness and gentle words of encouragement.

What we are talking about here is something quite different. We do NOT practice this deliverance in the face and knowing of our brethren. Such a show is one of the worst parts of blockages #2 and #6. It is a religious display of one-up-man-ship that I have always deplored.

Our brethren have no need to know anything about this mighty deliverance we are conducting on their behalf. The truth is, even the innocuous, “Praying for you, brother,” can be part of the religious mask-wearing that hides an underlying superiority and contempt. (Those same words, however, spoken out from tender kindness and in full respect can just as well be the love of Christ.)

We will continue to discover the practical applications of this deliverance service of the Day of Atonement as we proceed through Revelation Chapters 11, 12, and 13. In the remainder of this chapter, let’s look a bit further at where we stand as those ministering the casting down of all anti-Word anointed by anti-Spirit out of the hearing and speaking of our fellow Christians.

Of course, we must begin with the absolute absence of Demon Task #7 from our own self-stories. Accusation – GONE! Yet that includes our seeing of our brethren.

And this is a place where I need to ask God for completion in my own mind. I still analyze my Christian brethren, just a bit, in the wrong way. And this is a difficult and fine line between piercing the darkness and seeing the light, especially in our conversation together.

After completing the JSV of Revelation, I was feeling depressed and needed a reassurance inside regarding my firm decision to abandon the idea of a “forever torment,” replacing it with a time of judgment for the purpose of redemption as the early Church taught and understood separate from John’s vision entering the picture only after the passing of all the disciples, and even then, only after John’s vision got into the hands of Roman, not Greek, theologians.

And so, in order to reaffirm how I understood “the ages of the ages” to mean, I got out the book written by Dr. Stephen Jones that I read in 2004, the teaching that convinced me that the Bible does not teach unending punishment. At that time, I did not then have any inkling of The Jesus Secret or the mighty change about to hit my life. As I read Dr. Stephen Jones then, I was seeking Christ, and thus Jesus spoke to me through his pages.

Now, I am no longer “seeking Christ” in that way, for I know Him alive and for real in all glory inside of me, now my only life. For that reason, all I can find in Jones’s book in the present moment is darkness, lots of “good Bible ideas” that allow only for human correction and betterment and that replace Jesus alive in our hearts now our only life.

Basically, I found the same “God” and the same “salvation” in Dr. Stephen Jones’s teaching as I found in John Calvin and Buddy Cobb, the “God” and “salvation” of the serpent’s words.

Here is what I find. The part of my brain that necessarily pierces the darkness of false words is different from that part of my brain that directs the eyes to see Christ in Stephen Jones. Both parts of my brain are doing their necessary work as servants of Christ. BUT – I must consciously place my seeing of Christ in my brother above and forward from my understanding of his dark words. It is my seeing of Christ that must direct my eyes.

That is well and good. The problem is that the understanding of the darkness is closer to my voice box and thus tends to go out through the mouth in conversation with others. Such conversation to understand is important and not wrong. Nonetheless, no consciousness of sins, but seeing Christ alone, must always prevail.

Let’s ask God to accomplish this victory in our own minds.

“Father, we thank You that our minds are the servants of Christ, now our only life. We thank you that our minds are the mind of Christ and that as our minds serve the Lord Jesus, so we see and honor our shared life with Him. Father, we ask that You would anoint our minds specifically so that we would be able to see and pierce the darkness that remains in the minds of our beloved brothers and sisters in Christ on the one hand, yet on the other hand be fully free to direct our eyes and our mouth to see and to speak no-consciousness of sins, but Christ alone concerning our brethren. We ask for this mighty grace, Father, by the authority You have given to us, the name of Jesus, and we believe with You that our precious Holy Spirit is fulfilling right now our shared desire in all power and might.”

In the next chapter, we want to place the standing and authority of the deliverance team out from the second witness of Christ in Revelation 11. Then, through the battle described in Revelation 12, we want to spell out the practical application of this great ministry of deliverance in which we are engaged, that is, what we actually do. Finally, I am convinced that Revelation 13 will give us not only the context of the deliverance we are effecting, but also some surprising nuggets of truth, especially out from the conclusion of victory over the beast in Chapter 15.

How will they hear? They will hear by having the demonic words of a false story of self and of Christ cast down in power out of their ears.
