6.3 The Second Response of Faith: Speak

© 2018 Christ Revealed Bible Institute

God does not form Christ in us without our active and continual involvement. He simply never pushes anyone around, but He does all things in joy and delight together with us, including transforming us into the image of Christ, the express image of the Father.

God has given us a very specific mechanism, a precise exercise by which we take on our true self, the Lord Jesus, losing in the process even the memory of all false identity we have ever known.

Then here is what we discover. This is a big deal. We discover that by winning our true Christ identity, we are altering our seeing of the entire universe, both heaven and earth.

Creating by Speaking. The universe has never known its true identity; all it has ever known was the false duality coming out of Adam’s death. We are setting creation free.

God creates all things by speaking. God opens His mouth to speak, and the Lord Jesus is always flowing out of the Father as the light and life that creates and sustains all things. Then God SAID, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God SAW the light, that it was good (Genesis 1:3-4).

Here is the means by which God brings forth everything. …God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did (Romans 4:17).

First Speak, then See. First God says, then God sees. If this is God’s reality, how can anything else be ours? We speak, then we see what we speak.

Continuing in Romans 4. (Abraham) contrary to hope, in hope believed… according to what was spoken… And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead… He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

The line “And God SAW the light, that it was good,” that seeing of God was the seeing of faith. God spoke light; therefore, light became. God saw goodness; therefore, all things were good.

The Testimony of Jesus. Speaking comes first, seeing comes second. Both are through faith; both enter into the darkness, into “nothingness” before they bring forth their reality. Our reality in God is God’s reality in Himself. We transform our seeing of ourselves and the entire universe by the words that we speak.

…For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10). Creating and sustaining, forming and fashioning all things by speaking, and then by seeing what is spoken by faith, that it is truly good, is the nature and Being of this God who fills us with His Person.

Always Through Faith. When we speak what God speaks concerning Christ our only life, then God speaks through us. If God speaks through us (prophecy), then what’s the problem? There is none. Hold in faith and see God alone.

Sadly, if we prefer to be double-hearted and double-minded, if God has not yet won our hearts, we will not speak Christ alone. Rather, we will speak an unending mixture of confusion. Our lives will always follow our speaking.

Speaking Christ always begins in the darkness, that is, through faith. Speaking comes first; seeing comes second. We speak first what we do not yet see.

Prophecy Christ. And so I want to include the ten most important verses in the Bible as statements of faith, in short form, as the speaking of Christ. Speak these things; prophecy Christ. Speak them over and over until you know that they are true as your very and only life.

As you speak Christ, God through you is transforming not only your identity, but how you see the entire creation as well. As you speak Christ, your mind, your thinking, your identity, is being transformed. And thus we know God and we know Jesus-Sent.

Speak Christ. The Ten as Personal Confessions of Faith

1. From the very beginning, God determined to make me just like Jesus.

2. I am filled with all the fullness of God.

3. The Spirit of God flows out from me as rivers of living water bringing life and joy to all.

4. I cast down every voice that speaks against the Word God speaks, against Christ my only life.

5. Christ is my life; I have no other life.

6. I boldly enter the Holiest, the throne of God – with my heart sprinkled always with Blood, and with my body, flesh of His flesh, washed clean.

7. I exult boastfully in all the victory of Christ revealed in me. I speak Christ; I keep the joy of my confidence high.

8. I love you; I lay down my life for you.

9. I set creation free.

10. Just as Jesus is IN the Father, so I am in Him and He is in me, every part of me in Him and Him in every part of me. I abide in Christ; He abides in me.

Increase Forever. I have been speaking these words of Christ my life, Christ Personal in me, for more than ten years, now. Speaking these things does not “make them” real. Speaking Christ our life causes us to KNOW what is already true. I testify to you that my knowledge of Jesus Sent into me has only increased – and will do so forever.

At first, I believed these things with all my heart. Then, there came the day when I knew that they are true. After walking for a few years knowing that these things are true, the day came when something shifted inside of me and I knew myself turned around upon the Mercy Seat inside the Holy of Holies.

Jesus Is Real. From that day unto this, I walk knowing that my Father is utterly together with me, sharing all things with me that He and I go through. I walk knowing that Father and I together make all things good.

I know because I speak Christ faithful and true. I know because Jesus is real.

Let’s return to our original thoughts at the beginning of this little book. Every one of us possesses absolute definitions that we impose onto every verse in the Bible. Thus we never see what any verse is actually saying; rather, we see what our definitions require it to say.

A Subconscious Rule. If we are honest, we will see that many of our ruling definitions are, themselves, contrary to God and not at all what He speaks. Yet we are fully at liberty to choose the most important things God says regarding Christ alive in us to be our new rule and definition over everything we read in the Bible.

So how does that work? How do we use these ten most important verses to be our rule over any and every verse we read? We have to understand that our prior ruling definitions were not part of our conscious mental thinking. Rather, they ruled silently, from deep within our understanding of reality.

Every Word a Lie. In fact, I have come to understand what could be the deepest rule governing most Christian thought, these words, spoken against Christ from the beginning. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:5).

The serpent was lying in every word – God knows nothing of the sort. Man was already God’s image, His appearance inside of creation. A “God” who “knows good and evil” is the serpent presenting his high heavenly form as “what God looks like.” The definitions most of us once held for “God” and for “man” come out of these nonsense words.

Beneath Conscious Thought. And most who argue against what I have shared regarding the meaning of Romans 8:29, the purpose of God for us, will use this line from the serpent to strike down our being conformed with the image of Christ in this age and on this earth. These false words rule without any need for conscious thought.

For that reason, these words that are Christ alive in us, these words of faith in what God actually says, must also become the essence of our sub-conscious thinking. And God gives us the Holy Spirit as well as a “through-mind” that we might know Him by every word that He speaks. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us (1 John 3:24b).

Seeing Every Word. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding [a through-mind], that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life (1 John 5:20). Any word that says we are not IN Jesus and Jesus IN us, we cast down.

Now, as I read every word in the Bible, I see each line entirely differently from how I once saw. First, I see all things only out from living inside of Jesus living inside my heart. Second, I see all things working towards God’s purpose, my sharing the same form with Jesus as the revelation of Father to creation.

I IN Jesus and Jesus IN Me. I see that every verse speaks to me of the God who fills me full, of the rivers of Spirit flowing out of me. I see that every word of God’s displeasure against sin speaks of the finished cross through which I boldly enter into all that is Christ.

I see that my confidence that Christ lives as me enables me to cast down the one who speaks against Christ as me. I see that every command of God informs me how God Himself loves you through me. I see that I am called to set all creation free.

I see myself utterly inside of Jesus and Jesus Himself filling all that I am.
