17.3 The Arising Beast

And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority (Revelation 13:1-2).
The arising of money power to its place of control over the whole earth today and the arising of modern political government are fully parallel and interlocked. You cannot have one without the other. The purpose of this lesson is to trace that arising, primarily of money power, into this beast of seven heads in John’s vision.
A Pattern of Perception
Before we begin, I want to establish two ways of perceiving how this world works, two patterns by which everything fits. The first pattern is this beast that John saw, referring to human government, specifically the qualities of the violent governments of the Persian, Greek, and Roman empires. In the church age, however, we understand that God is applying these characteristics to all human government as it flows out from Adam’s curse.
Let me define what I mean by “human government.” Human government is the license to wield a monopoly of violence inside any given territory or sphere of relationships. Violence is how all humans are compelled to comply.
A Monopoly of Violence
A monopoly of violence means that only one entity inside a given sphere possesses the right to use violence to get its way, and that same entity then denies violence to any other actor inside that sphere. You cannot steal from your neighbor, for the government will call it a crime against itself. But the government can steal from your neighbor and give your neighbor’s money to you.
Violence in some form is used by all human organizations, including Christian groups, to gain compliance, that is “God is displeased with you if you refuse to submit to us.” And all compulsion to comply is based on the conviction that Jesus is NOT Lord and that people are entirely out of control.
A Beast with Seven Heads
So when we look at this beast with seven heads, we obtain the best illustration there is to understand how power works in our world today. Most picture a movie version of such a beast, all the heads operating in unison. That picture is unreal, especially when referring to human government. Thus we see that there is only one body to this beast, one basis of power over all. Yet seven, the number of perfection, and heads, the Biblical symbol of power over, means that we have a perfect confusion of control. Every head is biting and snapping at every other head, yet always working together whenever the beast itself is threatened.
Warring Criminal Gangs
Most people do not understand that the United States government is not monolithic, but rather a swirl of various criminal gangs, all operating outside of the law, each one seeking to control people and money, fighting one another on a regular basis, but standing together whenever anyone suggests “limiting” their criminal reach.
Power throughout the whole earth operates in a similar way. There is no “one” control. Rather, various power centers, many invisible to the public, sometimes work together and sometimes fight each other. Thus the Vatican, international bankers, specific governments, the UN, the European Union, Freemasonry, and so on, each is represented by one of those heads, fighting against and working with each other.
A Scientific Institution
Now, in order to understand how the world works, I combine that specific lens of power centers alternating between working together and fighting each other, together with a science-fiction story written by C.S. Lewis called That Hideous Strength. C.S. Lewis created a fictional British “science agency” whose members worked together to ensure a better future for mankind. Many good people devoted themselves to this endeavor. What most did not know, however, was that there was a small group steering all the work of the larger group towards their own planned takeover of the world – for their own power. But what this small group did not know, however, was that two individuals in the small group knew that everything was for the triumph of the dark forces to which they had devoted their lives.
The Hidden Inner Core
By using C.S. Lewis’ story as a model, we then can understand that the majority of people working in human governments imagine they are doing good, but do not know that their work is being manipulated by a smaller group who desire to rule all. But what that smaller group of power people does not know is that their work is being manipulated by a much smaller group in their midst who are devoted to the evil one and to the destruction of humanity including their own selves. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time (Revelation 12:12).
Let me explain a little better how I use these two pictures as my lens for understanding the world.
Using the Lens
When you study political power (money enablement and military violence), you find every view under the sun. Everyone has a definition of who or what is the power. At the same time, many convert their study into the belief that there is one universal power, one small group of people, controlling everything. Others argue that no, everything can be explained by human corruption and incompetence.
Seeing everything through a double model, John’s seven-headed beast and C.S. Lewis’s “scientific institution,” enables me to understand how control actually works, and how power centers fight against each other, yet serve the same purpose. All who fight against one head of the beast are fighting for the same beast, just for another head.

Now, let’s refer back to Lesson 15.3 Cruelty and Thorns. In that lesson, we looked at the phenomena of the most violent and cruelest of men seizing power for themselves, and then using money to support their violence. Then I stated that, from 1650 to 1815, the equation shifted. By 1815 money power was completely dominant and the great conquering psychopaths were no longer needed.
Sabbatai Zevi
The key to understanding our world today is to understand that shift and the one Jewish family at the center of it, the Rothschild’s. But to do that, we must back up again to around 1650 and to Sabbatai Zevi, the “Messiah” of the J-s. The best thing is for you to read the Wikipedia article, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabbatai_Zevi. Please do that; you will see how interconnected all these things are. The controlling class of Turkey and the Saudi Royal family are descendants of Israel, having converted to Islam with Zevi. The Sabbatean (the god Saturn) movement continued in Europe, with Jacob Frank claiming to be Sabbatai re-incarnated.
The Rothschild Family
We cannot go into a detailed study of these things; we must look, however, at the most influential adherent to Sabbatean Frankism and its focus on J-ish Cabbalism, Meyer Amschel Rothschild. Rothschild was a J-ish money manager in Frankfurt, Germany, working for the Prince of Hesse who made money selling his people as mercenaries to the British.
Meyer Amschel had five sons. When they were of age, he sent Nathan to London, James to Paris, Saloman to Vienna, and Carl to Naples, with his eldest, Amschel, remaining in Frankfurt. During the Napoleonic Wars, these five brothers maintained a system of communication together unsurpassed in prior history.
The Greatest Financial Conquest
Of these five, Nathan, sitting in the center of J-ish banking power, was the most brilliant. Nathan KNEW every key event happening across the European continent before anyone else in England. A ship sat in a French port ready to sail to England the very moment a Rothschild rider galloped on board, in any weather, and for no other reason. And the Rothschild brothers controlled the ebb and flow of money out from England for and against the fighting powers of the Napoleonic wars.
I do not have the space to share the story of how Nathan Rothschild used the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 to win for himself most of the wealth of England in the greatest financial coup in history. (I read The Rothschilds by Frank Morton, 1962.)
Who Holds the Debt?
From 1815 on, the Bank of England was (and is) the Rothschild family bank. The official story is that World War I and the nationalization of the Bank of England was the end of Rothschild power, and now they are just another rich family. The evidence of history in no way supports this claim.

Karl Marx created the necessary ideology for converting the masses to complete slavery to political power, that is, socialism in all of its forms, and Freemasonry provided the occult symbolism of modern pop culture out from the J-ish Kabbala.

Now, all of this is just “information.” What we want is truth; that is, what is it all about inside of God and inside the turning of the ages in which we find ourselves. Money power in our world today comes out of a religious mind-set that comes out of fleeing from a self-imposed curse. At the core of this mind-set is an inherent hatred for the name of Jesus and for all who would follow Him. The Great Conflict
When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified (Revelation 11:7-8).
This is Jesus proving Himself faithful and true through a fully successful Christian Church versus the hatred of the first born over the claim to the inheritance. A conflict in which, I do suspect, the Israeli Supreme Court will have some significant role to play.
These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful (Revelation 17:14).
Mercy On All
We live our lives as one with the Lord Jesus through all the mundane realities of being a human in this world. Yet as sons of God setting creation free, we must also have some view of the entire picture of God as He brings all the rebellion of Adam to a close, to complete silence before Him.
For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! – For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things (Romans 11:32-33 & 36).
