27.2 The Second Witness of Christ

And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy… clothed in sackcloth (Revelation 11:3). Although Jesus did not limit Himself to “power,” power is certainly central inside this giving of Himself to us. Now salvation, and POWER, and the kingdom of our God, and the AUTHORITY of His Christ have come… (Revelation 12:10).
Arti (now): now, just now, at this moment; exactly now, the immediate present. (Now is the DAY of salvation.)
Ginomai (have come): I come into being; I am born; I become; I happen.
I, the Word God speaks, am the ONE always happening.
Why Would They Listen?
WHAT will turn millions of Spirit-filled Christians away from their blind pursuit of death as “salvation” and to the Word God speaks fulfilled in all fullness through them right here on this earth, Salvation revealed? One thing only will do that – the demonstration of the Spirit and of power (1 Corinthians 2:4 – read all of 1-5).
The problem is this: God’s Church has seen them all and she does NOT trust anyone, and for good reason. Why would anyone listen to us? Why would anyone listen to me?
We are getting right at our hearts. –><– We are getting right at God’s heart.
A Beautiful Woman
I want to take you to a hillside in the foothills of Oregon’s Cascade Mountains, to a little prayer hut set beside a then-bleak rose garden, in the late fall Thanksgiving weekend of 1994, now over 22 years ago. I was attending with my family a Thanksgiving gathering of around 100 precious Spirit-filled believers in Jesus from different places and different churches who had gathered together to worship God and to give thanks in a community setting, very familiar to Maureen and I. And I had sat in the gathering together in the chapel and around the tables at mealtime beholding a beautiful Woman, loved by the Lord Jesus Christ with a passion beyond the fires of the universe.
An Agreement in a Prayer Hut
And I knew that this precious Woman needed the Word of the revelation of Jesus Christ that was inside of me. Yet I knew that she had been given a wisdom of God, a wisdom not to trust every shyster coming down the pike.
In that prayer hut on that hillside, looking down over the wooded valley below, I made, what I now understand to be, an agreement with God. It was not a worded agreement, for how could I believe that God would speak to her through me. Yet I hoped. And in that hope, I saw that the ministry God would send to speak His Word to His most precious Bride would be a ministry utterly pure, a ministry that would not put their hand upon God’s Woman.
Let Us Accept It
There are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it (Matthew 19:12). – clothed in sackcloth. Jesus was not teaching natural “celibacy.” Clothed in sackcloth and eunuchs for the kingdom are the same thing.
I will give to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy. To prophesy is to call forth Christ into visible appearance through His Church. Those who are given this power are those who possess no ability to insert themselves in-between Jesus and those who belong to Him. Those who are “extremely purified.”
A Word that Endured
I rose from that prayer hut in 1994 to enter the worst years of my life, years of confusion and loss, years of failure and ruin, years without hope. And when those years were finished, 12 years later, I looked, and inside of me was the same Word planted in my heart to which I had committed myself when I was 21 years old by answering the Forehead of God with “Yes Lord” in fear and trembling, the Word of the revelation of Jesus Christ THROUGH a fully successful Christian Church walking upon this earth.
Now, I want to share with you again one of the Annie Schissler visions, a vision which I have shared in my letters more than once already and will likely include again. I reduce this vision here: you can read all of it in “A Vision of Purity” found in my book, The Unveiling.
The Wave of Pure Light
…When He [Jesus] receives me in His presence, He invariably does it with those ineffable words that bring such peace and so deep security; He tells me: “DO NOT BE AFRAID.” …I would not be able to enter His Cloud of Glory if He did not give breath to me with His greeting, since the reaction provoked by taking part in so high spheres of glory and holiness is tremendously overwhelming. …
With tremendous strength and demonstration of purpose, the Lord talked to me about a great “now” when He would be gathering multitudes of souls. In contrast with His chosen in whom He had been performing a profound work, this new operation would be carried out in a completely exposed way and with great clarity. God showed me a new and extraordinary wave of heavenly pure light and life that He is accumulating to prepare the manifestation of the Great Harvest that will develop underneath the storm of evil which is forming. He told me that He would not wait or retain this wave anymore, but that He would proceed to manifest it because His great “now” had come. While being released by Him, it would flow over the earth, returning multitudes of souls to the fold.
This new wave, full of powers and forces of light and life, was His instrument and had a double function: one opened as the incision of a sharp sword, and the other penetrated and went through beyond all defense and accomplished what God had proposed.
…I saw a new and mighty pure wave of power that had begun to work under that terrible storm of darkness of evil and persecution. While the storm of darkness still followed its course, this new wave of so pure light and life that had been prepared for this hour, suddenly started to expand in an explosive and magnificent way.
…In amazing operations of God, in great power and strength, thousands and millions were taken for Him. [These “millions” are entering into the reality of being a fully successful Christian Church right here on this earth.]
However, there were differences between the levels and conditions of these souls that the wave of light had reaped regarding the elect ones who walked above the storm. The elect ones were obviously superior in development and light, but despite their inferior condition, the souls that gathered under the storm were more numerous and were equally precious to the Lord and He was especially interested in the harvest of this multitude. With great joy and power He was intensively working to fulfill this.
The inferior condition of the new ones was detectable not by their appearance, but by their relationship with God. Those who walked above the storm had a very intimate relationship with Him, characterized by a great intensity, as if they were linked with the same fires and torrents of the divine nature. When the new ones took abundant blessings from God, it was due to the fact that they rebounded from His chosen ones. The blessing of one had an impact as a blessing for another one.
Clearly the operation of God in this wave of light developed in the chosen ones through the purity and the holiness. This wave of pure light was working in the midst of great darkness underneath the storm…
Then He made me see that this light would expand in places where it had never been before and where the darkness had reigned without opposition. These places were many and were awaiting the manifestation of this work.
…Although He desired this wave to burst in this explosive force of purity, something was still missing for this to happen. The moment of the explosion would be precipitated and lit by the elect ones who were above the storm.
Each one of them individually had to open as if it were a door inside them, and they also had to enter an even higher place of communication with Christ, which at the same time, would open their inner doors to the manifestation in great power of this force of light.
While opening these doors, that great wave of light [God] would pass through them and would start to accomplish its purposes and works over the land of the final harvest. Although this wave, full of extreme power and force to the reaping, would gather multitudes, it would however gradually and progressively advance, taking its territory as long as the chosen ones moved forward and opened the doors to the new ones.
The ones who were under the storm, though they received great provision of light and life that God shed, nonetheless they were allowed to be moved, shaken and buffeted. However, through this, it would be provided the way in which the Lord would mold, transform and develop them. On the contrary, those who were above the storm of darkness, that is, the elect ones could not be shaken as they were rooted and asserted in their relationship with Christ.
He told me that these sons that would give way to this new wave, must be extremely purified. This purification is of fundamental importance, not only for themselves, but also for these new ones that will be gathered. This high, complete purification of the elect ones is equivalent to the opening of the doors inside them that will rebound in a force of great life and light to those thousands that are still in darkness.

The Doors of GodHe that has this hope in Him purifies himself just as He is pure (1 John 3:3). How can we purify ourselves? How can we be these sons, this elect, that the doors of God might be opened through us, that all the revelation of Christ might flow through us?
You see, the Doors flung upon are not really about the many rushing in, but rather, the One rushing out. And for God to rush out through those Doors, you and I cannot be standing in His way. We are the Doors of Tabernacles, Doors that, in being wide open, are in fact, out of the way and unnoticed. The only thing anyone has eyes to see is the One rushing out of those Doors to welcome all. HOWEVER, it is our own faces they see, when they see this God, God manifest in the flesh.
I will give to my two witnesses clothed in sackcloth, and they will prophesy Christ.
Vision Confirms Word
Look back through the vision. You will see everything in it that I wrote in the last three sessions regarding the in-between days of Tabernacles, our ministry to the Church of Christ. Except I did not get those things from this vision, but from the Bible stored in my heart and from the teaching of others under whom I have sat and from the river of the anointing arising now inside of me. The vision confirms what is true. From God’s sons will come a flow of light and life, first, the anointing oil in the Spirit and second, provision upon the earth.
Annie saw that as those under the storm are shaken, “it would be provided the way in which the Lord would mold, transform and develop them,” – teaching them to sing the Song of the Lamb. Who will “open their inner doors” to allow God to come through?
Extreme Purification
Read Annie’s words again. “These sons that would give way to this new wave must be extremely purified. This purification is of fundamental importance, not only for themselves, but also for these new ones that will be gathered. This high, complete purification of the elect ones is equivalent to the opening of the doors inside them that will rebound in a force of great life and light to those thousands that are still in darkness.”
This vision confirms to you all the word that I speak, that it is not me, but God speaking to you. This “extreme purification” is one thing only, my walking in the full confidence that all that I am is Christ and that Christ is all that I am – and then imputing that same reality to all as God’s Mercy Seat, especially to those who offend me the most.
The Thing NO ONE Is Expecting
Yes, there will be “superheroes” arising on this earth over the next few years. “Superheroes” of life laid down and love poured out. And you and I will not be left out.
We will so stun the world, and the Church of Christ in this world, with a reality of God through us so profound and so filled with a Word spoken with all clarity inside the demonstration of the Spirit and power, that God’s precious Bride, all these dear ones who love Jesus, will turn and they will hear and they will run to their Father running to them.
And then we will see the thing NO ONE is expecting, we will see Jesus proving to the entire universe that God’s Word is true, that Father DOES what He says as Christians love one another with all the fullness of incorruptible love, right here on this earth – that the world may know.
