28.3 Increase Without End

Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end (Isaiah 9:7).

Hebrew Analysis:

Hebrew Transliteration lə-mar-bêh q  ham-miś-rāh  ū-lə-šā-lō-wm  ’ên- qê
Root Words Marbeh  misrah  shalom  ayin  qets
Phonetic mar-beh‘  mis-raw‘  shaw-lome‘  ah'-yin  kates
English The increase of (His) government and peace will NOT end.

Marbeh (increase): abundant – ABUNDANCE!

Misrah (government): rule, dominion (the fullness of a Kingdom ecosystem).

Shalom (peace): peace; completeness; soundness (full salvation).

Ayin (no): no; nothing; naught.

Qets (end): end; limit; farthest border.

No Limit
There shall be no end. There shall be no limit. There shall be NO farthest border.
Abundance of all things. The knowledge of Father just being Himself. Peace – the fullness of us being ourselves inside of Father.

Think of that. Peace must mean completeness, full salvation, because how can there be peace if something belonging to us is missing? Yet this peace, this completeness of ourselves inside of Father will increase in all abundance forever. That means that the increase of our knowledge of Father results directly in an increase of knowing ourselves – forever!

Out Towards Others
Yet God is not a “navel-gazer”; He is not infatuated with Himself. Our Father is always extending Himself out to others in ways we have never imagined. God did not create us to be “happy,” but to be His body, that He might show Himself as He is to all forever through us. Thus the increase of our knowledge of Father resulting in an increase of knowing ourselves will always be directed out towards others, first as creation, second as sustenance or help, and third as blessing. Humans were created for work. When we do productive work that benefits others, that’s when we feel the most complete and satisfied (peace). God also wants to work, but entirely together with us.

A Lethal Combination
Now, consider our origins in this equation of God all in all. God created man as a lethal combination of three things. First, God gave man a form of weakness. This form of weakness includes our heavenly bodies, our spirits, which, though heavenly, are not strong in comparison to angels. Second, God gave man a heart capable of containing omnipotence, a heart of fiery boldness, a heart that can match the determination of God. And third, God gave man an understanding mind, a mind that seeks for sense out of a swirl of seemingly unrelated things.

The whole energy of fallen man, out of heart audacity, and out of ceaseless mental workings, has been to defeat the thing man hates the most – the weakness God created him as.

God Wants a Body
Yet our weakness is our glory, for because we are weak, God can fill us full with all of Himself. God does not want super-heroes. God wants a body through which to express Himself. Yet God’s expression of Himself is always by symmorphy, that is, in a manner that honors God’s Person equally with honoring the person through whom God shows Himself. We are complete in all that we are as humans ONLY as Father is revealing all that He is through us.

Then consider the darkness out from which we are stumbling. We are stumbling from lack into abundance, from incompletion to completion, from emptiness to fullness.

The Wrong Question
But when we say, “lack, incompleteness, emptiness,” we mean all the nightmare and horror of a wicked and perverted world, of humans hurting and abusing others simply to gain a small advantage for themselves over their God-created weakness.

And now we see that the question, “Did God ‘need’ the fall of man in order to accomplish His purposes?” is entirely the wrong question. We can never arrive at any true answer by asking the wrong question. For instance – “Why did Jesus ‘have to’ die?” cannot find the truth. But this question can – “How do I know Jesus loves me?” – Because He laid down His life for me.

The Right Question
And that takes us directly to the larger true question, a question that brings the full and complete answer to all the agony of the darkness. Here is the right question – “How do we know the Father?” And the answer follows – And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren (1 John 3:16).

What does God “need” in order to reveal Himself to creation, to make Himself known, to accomplish His purpose to work together with man in all things? God needs humans who SHARE HIS HEART. And how do we share His heart? By laying down our lives for those who are in such desperate need, for those who offend us the most.

The Mercy Seat
The Heart of God is the Mercy Seat. As our hearts become that same Mercy Seat, so we meet with God there, and so we share heart with Him. This shared Hheart, this Mercy Seat, is the answer to everything.

Some have claimed that in the ages to come we will not remember in any way our time at present under the curse and inside the pain of darkness. Such an idea makes no sense to me. For it means that our lives of travail during this time of weeping have no purpose. I reject such an idea utterly. The purpose of our present time is COMPASSION.

Compassion
Look at that word, “compassion.” It is the Latin “com” meaning the same as the Greek syn/sym, or “together with,” joined with the Greek pathos, or “deep feeling, emotion, and desire.” It means sharing the agony and hurt, desires and hopes, utterly together with another person.

Here is the same thing. – Love suffers long and is kind. Love carries all for all. Love believes all for all. Love hopes all for all. Love endures all for all. Here is the same thing. – God. Here is the same thing. – And we also. The increase of His compassion through us will not end.

Our Need
And so the question cannot be “God’s need,” but rather our need. Why do we NEED to walk out of darkness, leaning upon our Beloved? That we might share heart with God. This is the purpose of God coming out from six thousand years of human folly and ruin.

This enables us to divide the “future” into two parts. The first part is the restoration of all things lost in the darkness. Let’s look at that a moment. The INCREASE of His government and peace will NOT end. I like the words increase and abundance merged together; we get both meanings at the same time.

Every Knee Shall Bow
Indeed, we have a hard time not fitting Isaiah 9:7 into our list of the most important verses in the Bible. Yet it is already there, in the ninth most important verse, setting all creation free.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11). “Christian theology” rejects Paul’s claim utterly, and twists these words into the action of lying, that every tongue is lying even as the words “Jesus is Lord” are forced out of them by violence. I just read the claim that, since ‘God died,’ that is why those who reject Christ must burn in hell forever – as the foundation for a teaching on union with Christ, using death to define ‘God.’

Answering Every Accusation
We say that “Jesus is the answer.” What we mean is that Jesus answers every single accusation against God, that God made us false, or that God “allowed” horror and abuse to destroy our lives, and that He answers every single such accusation in a very particular way. First He seeks and finds the one who is lost inside of that accusation. And that is what “lost” means, to live inside of accusation against God. And then He wins the heart of that one to Himself by life laid down and love poured out, the heart, the dwelling place of God. And then He carries that one inside Himself all the way through death and into life.

Christ Through Us – No Boundaries
And He does all of this through us His body. And He does all of this for each individual created being caught in the darkness of accusation.

The increase of His government and peace shall find NO boundaries.

Shall find no boundaries. – Every knee and every tongue. – That God might be ALL in ALL.

And when the accusation ceases, the question “Why, God, did You allow?” also ceases. It is a question that does not need an answer, for it is a question that does not exist. This work of Christ through us will likely cover more than one age of time.

The Last Knee Drops
But then there comes that moment when the last recalcitrant holdout, the one most lost in accusation against God, whether human or angelic, take your pick. Humans are stronger in stubbornness than angels, I suspect. There comes that moment when the last knee drops to the ground in weeping, and the last heart melts before the love and respect of Jesus, and the last mouth speaks, “Jesus, my Lord and my Savior, how much You regard me.”

And all creation KNOWS that Jesus is the true speaking of God.  Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all (1 Corinthians 15:28).

Creating Endlessly
What then? We know this about our Father – He loves to create, and He loves to create TOO MUCH. When I was younger in the Lord, I used to dream about God giving me my own solar system so that I might fashion and design each individual planet, one at a time, shaping its mountains and river basins, it’s plants and animals, and all the living beings that would call this planet “home.” A big part of the reason why I enjoy Star Wars is all the fascinating intelligent creatures they invented. Yet all my creation was solitary; I never knew anything about Love bearing all for all. And I did not know that you cannot have a living planet without breathing a heaven upon it.

Humans Forever
You and I will be ourselves as humans forever. God made us utterly as we are right now as an expression of His own personality.

And as humans, we are fully of heaven and fully of earth forever, as we are right now. We will exist fully in the physical and in the spiritual, communicating with and interacting with all things in both realms fully, as we do right now. We really are heavenly beings and have always been, and we know far more about heaven realities that we think we do. The blindness of our spirit eyes causes all kinds of stupidity to flourish in human ignorance.

Father Being Himself
Man is the master of all God’s creation; we command all the works of His hands. Father reveals Himself through us, His Body, a kind touch, a tender smile, a shoulder to lean upon. That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness upon us in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:7 modified from the Greek). – The mystery …hidden in God …to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places (Ephesians 3:9-10 reduced).

Father, just being Himself – through us.

Father at Home
The increase of His government and peace will not end.

I have concluded many series of teachings with John 14:23, Father making His home with us. But that most wondrous experience is only the beginning of the conclusion of Kingdom. For Kingdom is the unending increase of this Father, fully at Home in symmorphic union with us, revealing Himself to all through us, His Body forever. That all may know Him. And as the Father is the increase of abundance forever, so He has created us to be just like Himself, His personality expressed fully and comfortably through each one of us.

The Real Question
And that brings us to what must be the central question of all Symmorphy courses. That question is not, actually, regarding the opening of the doors of Tabernacles for many. The real question before you and I is this – “Who will share heart with God?”

God has given us the ability to match His pro-determination to symmorphose us with His Son as the revelation of all that is God with our own boldness of heart and our own determined, “YES, FATHER.”
Look at me, God. I belong to You.
Let it be to me according to Your Word.
