My Path Out
I read this as God speaking to me over many years. This is, in fact, the actual path upon which He led me. I preface each line with “My son.” I include the actual times that these things came upon me in power, in agony, and in joy.
Understand that you will read these now all the way through. But these directives from God to you do not come overnight. And each level must be working fully in your life before you can see clearly the next. More than that, these “levels” are not taking you “up,” but rather down, down to where Father is beneath of all, carrying all through the darkness and into Life, down to where you might share Hheart with Him.
You see, what humans call “down,” God has exalted as the highest above all, and what humans call “up” God does not know.
First Essentials
1. Set before yourself the truth that we give thanks inside of and for the sake of all things. You will not want to do so, and you will forget. No matter, give thanks when and as you are able. Come back again later and give thanks once the pain of any situation is well behind you. Although you do not understand what any of this means, let this seed planted in your heart become the basis for how you know God. June 1972
2. Treat with God as a Person who treats directly with you as a person. Accept His Word as personal to you and real; agree to believe that He is telling you the Truth. December 1975
3. Place yourself always under God’s hand. Justify God in all things and find Him right and true. Never accuse God or others of doing evil against you, but in all things, no matter how much you don’t want to, learn to submit unto God. March 1976 to June 1996
4. When you see any word in the Bible that draws you, ask God to fulfill it in your life, and then believe you have received what you asked, even though you do not see it. Wait upon God, believing, until you do. April 1976
5. Place before yourself as your ultimate goal in this present time, John 14:23, that the Father would come to you and make His Home together with you. Acknowledge now that such a goal could actually happen. March to October 1976
Second Level Essentials
6. Break away from the false goal of “going to” heaven after you die. In fact, cast down the image of “the fulness of Christ” as “heavenly superiority.” Your goal is to know the Father, which is the only definition of Life given in the Bible. April through September 1977
7. Reckon with the terrible fact that someone has lied to you about the Bible. Let that fact make you turn to seeking what God actually says in the Gospel. April 1977
8. Place John 6:63 as your definition of “the Bible,” though you do not know what it means. God’s words are not ideas for your intellect, but rather they are Spirit and Life. April through September 1977
9. Recognize God’s great metaphor of the reproduction of life, that it fills the Bible from beginning to end, and that the Gospel is based first on that metaphor. Recognize that the writers of the New Testament all wove the elements of the Gospel of our redemption upon the metaphor of the Tabernacle in the wilderness and the furniture inside of it. Learn to know the Gospel by that structure. April through September 1977
10. Discover the BIG verses of the Gospel, the verses that count. Recognize that these verses have no place in Nicene Christian thinking, in the “gospel” as you have known it. Let God’s sworn oath to you, that He will make you to be just like the Lord Jesus Christ, be your guide in selecting those verses. Then place those verses before your eyes, and let them shape your path going forward. Out from those ruling verses, go on to know the Lord. September 1987 onwards.
Third Level Essentials
11. Look again at John 14:22-23 and face directly God’s stated requirements, that you KEEP His word. Be honest. Stand fully in the light of God. You do not keep His word, and you never will. Get real. And in getting real, lose all hope in yourself that you will ever please God or do His will or ever know the Father. February 1998
12. Fiercely set aside everything you ever thought you knew about “the Christian life” and place Jesus before your eyes, Jesus in Person, Jesus alone, that you might know Him as more real than anyone or anything else. June to August 1998
13. Allow one word to come to you from God, “God loves me.” Place a period at the end of that declaration and repent of ever having added any condition. Rest in His love. December 2000
14. Look now at your heart, your human heart of flesh, and see Jesus, for real, for there alone He dwells. Declare out loud, shout it to the heavens, “My heart is good; my heart is filled with Jesus.” Out from this declaration, allow Jesus to begin healing every place of confusion and pain remaining in your memories. December 2001
15. When your first season of healing is sufficiently complete, set your original goal, to know the Father at home in your heart, to know Him in all that He means, again before your eyes. This time, never turn from Jesus in your heart, Jesus for real, for He alone will show you the Father. Through 2004
Fourth Level Essentials
16. Allow God to speak an incredible directive into your life – “Speak what God says you are.” Let that word explode inside of you. Allow the ruling verse of the Bible, Romans 8:29, “God has conformed me with the image of His Son,” to be the rule of all the verses of the Gospel rushing into your consciousness, all brand new. Then – speak what God says you are, just like the Lord Jesus. Speak in hope; speak in faith. But speak. August 2006
17. Listen carefully to “normal” Christian speaking, without judgment of the speaker, but in discernment of what is being spoken, and become aghast at the hostility against the gospel, the refusal to believe that God is telling us the truth. Inside the pressure of such awfulness, allow your agony to press you into Jesus, that He alone might become the only thing that you are. Run into Jesus, until He swallows you up utterly inside of His own being. February 2008
18. Stand in Christ your only life, Christ as all there is inside of you. Stand against every wailing cry of opposition. Refuse them. Hold to Jesus alone until the darkness passes. February to November 2008
19. You have entered, now, into complete devotion, into the knowledge of God as all, but you hardly know what any of it means. The shattering of the knowledge of good and evil must be replaced with all that is the Tree of Life, by the renewing of your mind. Place yourself inside of God in all. Continue to speak Christ, continue to place the ruling verses of the gospel before your eyes until you know that they are True. Yet here is your most important place of victory. SEE all other believers in Jesus as Christ as them, as Jesus to you, regardless of any outward hurt. November 2008 to September 2011
20. In a moment of miraculous revelation CAST DOWN the accusation that God “knows evil,” the image of heavenly superiority, of a “God” who thinks more highly of Himself than of anyone else. Do so by setting before your sight, absolutely and forever in all the knowing of your soul, the True image of God, a man on His face in the mud under a cross He cannot carry, carried by Father, carrying you. He who sees Me, SEES the Father. In that moment, God will turn you right side up and you will see that God is so different from what they claim. God is the One who carries all. Fifth Level Essentials
21. Allow God to insert a word into your consciousness, a word you will not understand, a word that insists on being heard and known inside your every knowing of God. That word is 1 John 3:16. By this we know love – AND WE ALSO. December 2011 on.
22. Place yourself inside of God your Father, every chance you get, in all the knowing of your faith. When you look at yourself, see God, and say, “I am filled with all the fulness of God. Father, You fill me full with all that You are.” Say it until you believe it. Say it until you know that it is True. December 2011 on.
23. Be sealed into God in your mind, in all of your thinking and by His power. From this moment on, you will never allow into your consciousness any thought that God is separated from you in any way, that He does not share all that you are with you. Rather, regardless of anything you feel or do, inside and out, acknowledge God with you in fulness in all – through the absolute completion of the Sacrifice of Jesus – through His life connecting you utterly with the Father. 24. Turn around. Turn around. Turn around. The Day of Atonement is fulfilled. You are utterly redeemed. Never again will any thought of “needing to connect” with God ever enter your consciousness. You are inside of God. From here on out, your life is God coming through you into your world. At the same time, 1 John 3:16 takes on a level of urgency as you have not known before. Out from that verse, know that God is inviting you to share His Heart with Him. May 2013 through March 2015
25. Allow God to insert a new way of knowing everything into your consciousness. – Jesus sustains all things by His power-filled Word. March 2015
Sixth Level Essentials
26. Receive from God the full meaning of symmorphy and synergeia. Now you are ready to know what the Father and the Son are doing inside of you. Now you are ready to know the Gospel of your Salvation. Now you are ready to know what the Bible says. Now, you might have something to teach. June 2015
27. Know the Covenant, the Blood Covenant. Know it in full. Know it written all through your heart. Know that you come out from God’s Pro-Knowing through the good speaking of Jesus every moment. Know that you share Hheart with God. May 2017 on.
28. See the Church, commit to her deliverance. Cast down her accuser. March 2018 on.
29. Put the Lord Jesus Christ upon yourself in the account of your life inside the presence of God. August 2019 to October 2022
30. Receive the experience of Completion from God. Walk in the knowing of that Completion before your eyes see. April to December 2022
Seventh Level Essentials
31. Know the Father’s Love for you, inside of you, and flowing out from you. Know the Father loving His Church through you in all the fulness and the costliness of Love. September 2023
32. Be swallowed up in LIFE, the fulness of the resurrection, the revelation of Jesus Christ. At the Door.
33. Release all Rivers of living water flowing out from you everywhere you go.
34. Establish the Church as Communities of Christ, as the Jerusalem of God, as a praise in all the earth.
35. Set creation free.
Eighth Level Essentials
36. Be the revelation of the Father and of His Heart to all forever.
