3. A Pure Word

If God’s two witnesses of Revelation 11 began their prophetic ministry, of truth and for real, this very afternoon, what would be your response? Would they teach a pure word, a Personal and Pure Spirit Word, and would you run into the LIFE which they proclaim? Or would you disagree with what they teach, because they don’t teach what you “believe?”

I have approached the topic of “a pure word” many times. I do so because I must. I covenanted with God in November of 1994 that He would give me a pure word for His people in this present hour. Yet I am so deficient in myself. Yet I will not rest until that Word that I know as it flows through me has become the very Word of my Father.

What else should anyone do?

“What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?” … “Do you not know what these are?” – If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die (Zechariah 4 & Revelation 11 - NIV).

The golden oil is a Personal and Pure Spirit Word; its purity is protected by fire. It is the only Word that is real.

Does the Word that flows into you now establish you in the midst of the Church, committed Christ Community, as the revelation together of Jesus Christ, such that all creation knows that God sent Jesus into our world? If not, it cannot be the Word that you want.

After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. – To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God (Genesis 3 & Revelation 2 - NIV).

These two are the same, the golden oil and the tree of life, the flaming sword and the fire that consumes. God is very, very serious about His Word, and His Word must flow into our world before anything can be real.

I have three adjectives before “Word,” personal, pure, and Spirit, yet the third, “Spirit,” is more part of the noun then as a qualifier. At the same time, “Spirit” includes two adjectives, “living and energeoing.”

We are talking about one thing, Word, yet there are many seemingly different things that are central to and part of Word. It’s hard to know where to start. Let’s start and end with Spirit Word.

It is the Spirit giving Life, your own efforts accomplish nothing. The words that I speak to you, from inside of you, are Spirit, and they are Life (John 6:63 – paraphrased). – The Word of God is living and energeoing, piercing through and dividing asunder (Hebrews 4).

Having placed God’s meaning of “Spirit Word” before our eyes, we must begin with “personal.” Word is Jesus; Jesus is Word. There is no Word out from God that is not Jesus; there is no Jesus that is not Word out from God.

But there is a second part of “personal” almost as important. God-Word is personal to you; you are made personal only inside of God-Word. God speaks you inside of Jesus; Jesus speaks you from inside of you, from your heart.

Jesus brings you forth, carries you, and sustains you, personally, immanently, and continuously, by His power-filled Word (Hebrews 1:3 – expanded).

Now, personal and pure go together, in fact the two together are found inside the word, Devoted, such that we could say, “a Devoted Spirit Word.” But before I can continue with either one, I must set out the great dividing line set by God in the beginning, throughout the entire Bible, and in the life of and before the eyes of every human who has ever lived.

The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:9). Here’s the same thing again. The law of the Spirit of Life inside of Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).

I clicked on the Amazon link to my book, Symmorphy V: Life. Just below the description, Amazon placed a row of “similar” books I could purchase. The first choice was titled “The Higher Faith,” but the fourth was a book debunking the whole thought of “the higher faith,” showing it to be a trap of deception.

Except for those books through which God has spoken to me over the years, I cannot read any Christian books right now because they all throw me into immense pain. Nonetheless, I was able to read through the descriptions of these two books without too much agony. Since I know well Christian teaching and thinking, from past study, the descriptions were enough for me to be fully aware of what I would find in each.

The book, The Higher Faith, will take you right up to the Veil, give you the slightest glimpse of what is on the other side, and suggest some ways by which you might aspire to the passage through. The other book was very clear on what it would do. It would show the falseness of “the higher faith,” by taking you into the Bible and showing you the great and never-ending “struggle against sin,” the only way by which you will ever become like Jesus, that is, never.

The first book will give you a glimpse of the Tree of Life without any actual faith at all, for it will not teach you to KNOW that you are already inside of God, inside of all that is Most Devoted. The second book will immerse you into the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, as if the Tree of Life does not exist, as if the Bible is good and evil only.

What do I teach that is different? What do I give you that you will not find in either of these two books? That’s easy. I give you the knowledge of Jesus, personal and real, inside of you, Jesus your all, Jesus initiating all. And inside of Jesus, I give you the knowing of the Father, Father at home in your heart.

Word, then, must begin as Jesus, immanently and continuously, initiating all that is your own personal Salvation, and bringing always the Father to share all with you.

If it ain’t Jesus and Father, it’s death. And it cannot be the second witness of Christ.

The two witnesses will not teach you to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, all through the Bible; neither will they show you Life from afar. The two witnesses will teach you that you are already inside of the Tree of Life, inside of Jesus, which is even more all through the Bible. How could it be otherwise?

How could it be otherwise?

Let’s look next at the word pure. Pure means “unmixed,” that is, Life only, with no shadow of anything else. Fire makes pure. That’s why when I asked God to make me pure, with a pure word for His precious people, in November of 1994, God took me immediately into the worst years of my life. God ANSWERED me, and He answered me with FIRE.

Let’s get right at the blackest pollution at the very heart of Christian thinking. If I were to approach any Christian teacher of any stripe, I could (if I were brave enough, which I’m not), but I could discover their bottom-line definition of God quite easily with a simple question.

“I would like to be just like God. Could you show me how to do that?” I know what happens next. Let me give it voice. “That is wicked rebellion. Wanting to be like God is of the devil. And anyone who tries to be like God becomes like the devil.”

What black pollution have I just exposed? “The devil shows us God; the devil defines God. The devil spoke the truth about everything. God knows evil, and to become like God is to become as evil as He is, I mean, as evil as the devil is.

Now, what if you were to come to me and ask me that same question. “Daniel, I would like to be just like God. Could you show me how to do that?” What would be my answer?

I would not say, “You must be born again,” or, “Ask Jesus to live in your heart and to cleanse you of all your sins.” Because – I would assume that you are already born again and that you live in All Salvation Now, though you know little of what that means.

What would I say? – “My brother, my sister, let me show you the path of life. Give thanks. Give thanks inside of and for the sake of all things. When everything goes all wrong, when you stumble in agony and confusion, when you are humiliated and rejected, when pain fills your soul, justify God, find Him right and True, and place no blame upon anyone or anything.”

What have I just done? Or rather, “What have you just done to me, Daniel,” you cry.

I will tell you exactly what I have done. I have taken a fiery sword, and I have pierced the blackness in the center of your soul, that you would accuse God BY accusing others.

When I was just twenty years old, wrestling with God and my Bible over a new word I had never heard before, a Word of Life, I heard a word spoken inside my spirit, over and over, through the weeks of that summer. “That the thoughts of many hearts might be revealed. That the thoughts of many hearts might be revealed.” Finally, I searched my Bible, though it took me a while to find that line, and when I did, I did NOT like it at all.

“And a sword shall pierce through your own soul also, that the thoughts of many hearts might be revealed” (Luke 2). The first part of this line has been the story of my life; the second part is in God’s hands only.

Yet here’s the truth. Since I started writing this present word, many have come alongside. Some attempted to place hands of control on the word I must write. (I am not speaking of those who pointed out some of my many mistakes, out from a supporting spirit.) My response to control was, in one way or another, to thrust this very sword deep into their souls, “Justify God and find Him right and True.” A number of those blamed me and went their way.

But some have not. Some have placed themselves utterly inside of God, that He alone might keep them.

Now, asking God to fulfill His Word in you, believing that you have received all you have asked, and then speaking Christ your only life, every word that is Jesus made personal as you, the Jesus Secret, these cannot come first. The sword of FIRE comes first, piercing the depths of your soul. What do you want? Do you love Jesus – or not? God alone MUST remove the blackness first. Speaking Christ must be utterly pure, just as Jesus is pure.

Nonetheless, I have not given you my complete first response to someone who asks me, “Daniel, how can I be just like God?” You see, in all my “hearing from God” over many years, God has told me to do only two things. First, God commanded me, “Give My people hope.” And second, God commanded me, “Daniel, you provide for My people.”

I finally know exactly what He means by both, even as His sword pierces through my soul.

To give you hope, I must show you Jesus, a man stumbling under a cross he cannot carry, carrying you already inside of Himself, carried by Father. I must show you a Jesus who has already come into union with you, and who shares with you all of your failure. For you see, you are just like Jesus, you, also, can do nothing of yourself.

But in my answer to your question, something else must be taking place, something inside of me, something I may not tell you about. You see, I also must join with that very Jesus carrying you. I also set forth my soul, giving myself to the Father for your sake, that you might KNOW LIFE, that you might know the Father, that you might live inside of all Glory now.

By this we have known Love, in that Jesus set forth His soul for us, for our sakes; and we also are committed to setting forth our souls for our brothers and sisters (1 John 3:16). I also, utterly together with Jesus, provide for you, that you might know your Father at Home in your heart, entirely free of me.

This also is the meaning of a “personal” word, a word that is utterly pure. And I know in my heart that the second witness of Christ must begin here, inside of Devotion. The Word of their testimony is the Father made personal, a God with no shadow of knowing evil.

Purity includes other qualities as well, however. Purity includes the full flow of Gospel Word. What is “Gospel” Word? Gospel Word is that word, out from the Bible, that connects us as believers inside of Jesus in a living and dynamic way with the vast qualities of God, our Father. Gospel Word is that flow of words that causes us to know God and His life inside of and through us. Gospel Word is the full expression of the Covenant.

I am taking a bit longer to complete The Open Scroll, which contains the JSV. I was not satisfied with my approach to my comments, for they were haphazard and disconnected. At the same time, I outlined the ruling verses of the Bible, but did nothing to show why or how they are connected. I am now turning The Open Scroll into a study Bible. I have put my comments on translation at the end of each book and have devoted the space at the bottom of each page to brief explanations of Gospel Word, tying it together.

I am then placing a leaf symbol pointing at each line in the text that is Gospel Word. This allows the reader to read the Bible with little interruption. At the same time the reader can see the one tied-together Word that is the Gospel, woven through the entire Bible, or at least this portion of it.

In doing so, I realize that I am marking four types of Gospel Word. The first type is those lines that are companion verses to the ruling verses of the Bible, giving them qualifications and scope. The second type is those verses that give full expression to the Covenant as a legal and living Word, including the essence and meaning of the Atonement. The third type is those lines that speak of Life and the impartation of Life. And the fourth type is those verses that give us critical definitions of God and of reality. Obviously, lines can fit into all four types of Word.

When God says that we overcome the accuser “by the Word of our testimony,” He does not mean that we stand up and share what Jesus did for us. God means that the full flow and scope of Gospel Word, out from the pages of our Bibles, has become the reality of our consciousness, our knowledge of God and ourselves, of Christ and Salvation, a Word made personal as us.

I am writing this flow of Gospel Word into The Open Scroll first for myself. This December 23rd, 2025, marks 50 years, now, of wanting to possess such a flow of knowing the Living God out from His Word given to me, this Bible in my hands. Nicene Christianity broke this wondrous Gospel Word, that fills my Bible, all up into disconnected pieces and then tied the broken pieces together with carnal things that are then forced upon the Bible, though God never says them.

It is the second great Treasure of my life, out from fifty years of tears, to now possess a full knowing of God’s Gospel Word given to us.

My first great Treasure graced to me is knowing Jesus, my Lord and my Salvation, on the inside of me, connecting me with the Father as every Gospel Word fulfilled. Indeed, just the other day I was startled to realize that Jesus was indeed inside of me, the same Jesus who walked this earth, died, and rose again. All I could say, over and over, was, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.”

I had not known how real He is.

And my third great Treasure of Grace is you, that God enables me to share this same wondrous Gospel Word with you, that you might be with me here inside of Jesus inside the Father, inside of glory. I am a wealthy, wealthy man.

The Gospel is Jesus; the Gospel is all Word of the Father alive inside of us; the Gospel is the Church, the fulness of Christ who fills all inside of all.

Finally, we must know the meaning of a “Spirit” Word. – Spirit is the essence of God that touches creation. – And that is the first defining statement God has ever given me concerning the Spirit, and I know that it is pure and True.

The Spirit comes upon us to become part of the fabric of our humanity, that we might connect with God through Jesus, out from being of His same kind, that God might dwell among us without contradiction.

Word that is Spirit, then, is living and energeoing Word; Word that is Life. Life is sharing all movement in every moment through every next space with God our Father, otherwise known as Grace. Life is the Story of our lives. It is the Spirit that causes the story of our lives to be the one seamless and incorruptible Story that is Christ Jesus, the Word of our testimony.

When the writer of Hebrews says that “the Word of God is living and energeoing,” and when Jesus says, “The Words I speak into you are Spirit and they are Life,” both are referencing an EXPERIENCE with God, an experience of Power, a God who floods into our SOULS.

Revelation 11 sets the two witnesses as the cause of a great divide among Christians, those who draw near, and those who draw back. And that great divide is over Jesus as the Door. Is Jesus your Lord? Do you trust Him? Will you allow Him to immerse you into all outpoured Spirit, will you allow Him to flood your soul, your mind, your emotions, your desires with Power and with Life? Are you willing to laugh out loud, right in the middle of the Church service, in rivers of overflowing JOY? Will you allow Him to cause you to speak in tongues?

And most of all, will you allow that overflowing Spirit to take you through the Altar of Incense, through the fire that consumes, through giving thanks, right into all that is God?

Many will not. Many will draw back into the Bible as a word of knowing right from wrong, pointing to a future “salvation,” a book over which they can exercise full mental control.

“Living” means experiential power inside of sharing Life with God. And “energeoing” means faith, faith that Jesus continuously and energetically fulfills all that God speaks, already all, through all that you are right now.

We could say, “Devoted Spirit Word.” Or we could also say, “Pure and Personal, Living and Energeoing Word.” Devoted is “pure and personal,” Spirit is “living and energeoing,” the golden oil, the Tree of Life.

The descriptions in John’s vision of what the two witnesses “do” is how the people of this world, the unregenerate as well as Christians who draw back, how they see things, or at least call things to be so. Yet I am convinced that something entirely different is taking place.

Two things fill the hearts and eyes of the two witnesses; two things move them. The first is the Word coming through them, the Lord Jesus, and the second is the Church whom they are enclothing with that Word. Thus two things must come through their actions. First, they must get the attention of all who truly love or will love Jesus in this hour, that they might receive the full flow of that Word, that they might be enclothed with the Lord Jesus Christ. And second, they must strike down all who would put their carnal control upon that Word, all who would call upon the demons of Revelation 6, the false theology that seeks to prevent the Scroll from being opened and read by all, Jesus inside His Church, the revelation of Jesus Christ.

In the next lesson, we will discuss more of the qualities of a Compelling Spirit. Nonetheless, although the Spirit out from God is unique, we never envision that Spirit as an entity unto itself. The Spirit is never separate from Jesus or from God, from Word or from us. The Spirit is One, for God is One.
