(1) The Most Important Verse in the Bible

Romans 8:28-30

New King James Version (Recommended for memorization).

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Amplified Bible

We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren. And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].

Mirror Bible [paraphrase from the Greek by Fancois du Toit]

Meanwhile we know that the love of God causes everything to mutually contribute to our advantage. His Master Plan is announced in our original identity. (Called according to his purpose, kaleo, meaning to surname, to identify by name.) He pre-designed and engineered us from the start to be jointly fashioned in the same mold and image of His Son according to the exact blueprint of His thought. We see the original and intended pattern of our lives preserved in His Son. He is the firstborn from the same womb that reveals our genesis. He confirms that we are the invention of God. (Who were born anew when he was raised from the dead! . . .) Jesus reveals that man pre-existed in God; He defines us. He justified us and also glorified us. He redeemed our innocence and restored the glory we lost in Adam.

The Speaking of Christ [paraphrase by Daniel Yordy]

And we know that God and we work together to make all things good, we who love God and are called according to His purpose. For in His all now being, God determines to conform us to the image of His Son, to make us just like Jesus, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren, the first One of our kind. Inside this original determination, we are already called, we are already justified, and we are already glorified in all the glory of Jesus inside of God right now. We have never lived anywhere else.
