43. The Issue of the Inheritance

[Note: I will not have either video or audio for these three lessons on Revelation 13.}

Now we come to the thorniest and most difficult issue in all the contention of our day. That issue is best expressed by the words of Jesus in the parable of the vineyard. “Come, let us kill Him, that the inheritance might be ours.” And then by Paul’s words in Galatians 4. “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman.”

This is the primary reason why I stalled in writing The Jesus Secret I, for I did not know Paul’s gospel well enough or how to maneuver through why it is hated so much.

Our Strategy. We are speaking of the greatest hatred ever to exist on this planet. As Tolkien gave Théoden to say at the battle of Helm’s Deep, “What can men do against such reckless hate?”

There is only one strategy, and for that we must draw from Sun Tzu. Let me paraphrase his thoughts into our dilemma. When you know that you will LOSE a particular battle, and in losing that battle, you will lose everything, and all who hope in you will perish in darkness and pain, that is a battle NEVER to fight. I once thought that it would be important to fight this specific battle, now I know that we do not, regardless.

Two Who Claim. Who inherits the earth? Who inherits the Kingdom? Who does God “back” in the “final struggle” over this planet? The issue of the inheritance is at the heart of everything taking place in our world today, and it is at the heart of the unveiling of Jesus Christ and the culmination of all things.

Two claim the inheritance, but only one CARES for it.

There is a body of people in our world today who bear a supreme racial supremacy and a hatred against all others that is unfathomable. That hatred goes first against Jesus, second, against all who mention His name, and third, against anyone else who does not bend the knee.

One Thing Only. To address this hatred is to LOSE, not just outwardly, but in the face of the very people we hope to call into Christ. The psychological set-up is unimaginably perfect. At the same time, this hatred is now murdering millions, intentionally, and is proceeding to murder billions.

The truth is, behind everything shown to us in Revelation 13, as it is fulfilled in our world today, lies this tangible human/demonic hatred. And this is that of which we are speaking when we say, “They have no power at all.” One thing only will win against this hatred. Paul told us what it is in Romans 11:15. That one thing is MERCY!

The Only Way to Win. I intend to be partly cryptic in this lesson (think soberly). You see, this is what I have come to understand, that the only way to win is to fulfill all that is the Father’s Heart – through weakness, stumbling step by weary step, as it were, across the plains of Mordor, unseen and unnoticed.

And I would counsel you not to make use publicly of the history of this racial hatred, or any topic out from the events in central Europe during the first half of the 20^th century (Hitler, Nazis, etc.). These terms are exploding minefields. It is a battle you WILL lose, with your life and testimony. It is NOT the battle that wins the Victory of Christ. In the end, it is just one more way to worship and exalt the beast.

The Mystery of Iniquity. I wrote Chapter 17, “The Mystery of Iniquity” in Symmorphy III: Kingdom very carefully, and mostly from Scripture. Yet I have removed portions of that from my website; you must have the printed book for the whole text. We do have a Jesus Secret box for this lesson, titled “Against the False Claim.”

Let’s start with our Scriptural text. – Now, one of its heads was as if it had been wounded into death. And the wound of its death was healed. Then all the earth marveled after the beast. – This one head of the beast is the modern nation of Israel.

Out from the Abyss. Let’s look at what comes before, from Revelation 11. – When these two shall have completed their testimony, the beast who ascends up out of the abyss will war against them and will overcome them and kill them. – This beast ascended up out of the abyss in 1948, the same year that the Feast of Trumpets began in the Church.

And then an earlier verse, from Revelation 3. – Look and see, I give you those who are out from the synagogue of Satan, those who claim to be Judeans, though they are not Judeans, for they lie. Look and see, I will cause them to come and to worship before your feet. They will know that I have loved you.

Most Dangerous. In 1 Corinthians 3 and in Hebrews 8, God calls the covenant He made with Israel to be disgraceful, the ministry of death, and He states very clearly that the OLD covenant is annulled and replaced with the New. God removed the nation of the Old in 70 AD by a great wound, the destruction of Jerusalem. But it was re-formed, contrary to God’s Covenant, by arising, in 1948, out from another “great wound,” as if a deadly wound was healed.

The most dangerous attachment to evil found among our fellow Christians that will cause them to make war against the Lamb is their un-Biblical belief that the restoration of that nation is the fulfillment of God’s Covenant.

Fear. I am shocked as I see the manipulation right now of American Christians especially, and the hard expressions of genocidal hatred being expressed against the Palestinians.

What power does this beast-head hold?

Where the disciples were, because of their fear of the Judeans (John 20:19). – This fear is real, it is palpable, it is the real reason why our brethren support this lie, it is known to be in the background by all who enter political power, it is the driving force in our world, whether for or against. Those who scream against it are “marveling” just as much as those who support it; both are under its thrall.

Only Paul’s Gospel. I know that the scale of scientific evidence is insufficient, but I am satisfied for myself that the majority of those today who claim they are descended from Jacob are not. In this way, God has removed Abraham’s actual seed from the wickedness and wrath of our times. – Because another, who actually has no claim, has laid claim to the inheritance of the earth, in the name of the God of Jacob.

Yet any public argument concerning these things is set-up to turn against the one attempting to speak historical truth, but who is become, instead, a puppet dancing on their strings. Instead, we set forth the true heir only out from Paul’s gospel.

Has Made Two One. Here is Paul’s gospel. – Indeed, He Himself is our peace, having made both Judeans and ethnic peoples one, and having dissolved the wall of division or separation… that from the two [Judeans and ethnic peoples] He might create inside Himself one new man, thus making peace (Ephesians 2:14-15).

This is Paul’s introduction to the entrance of God, God’s dwelling place. – Verse 22. Inside of Jesus, you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God inside the sphere of Spirit. We add to this the commandment of God. – What God has joined together, let no man put asunder.

Our Love Wins. We then bring in that incredible line from Revelation 12 that the devil has no more strength, that the “authority” given to the beast in its dying fury has no power. We also reference the Annie visions, that at its point of highest evil and hatred, the wickedness finds that it has no ability to accomplish anything.

The thing is, it is our love for the inheritance that wins. And that is mostly what this lesson is about. And so I want to mention again one final piece of awfulness in the fulfillment of Revelation 13 before we return to our love for the inheritance through J.R.R. Tolkien’s wondrous outline of our victory.

Will Kill Them. During Madonna’s Eurovision song presentation, Christian leaders are presented as sacrificed to Satan.

It would not surprise me at all if this does become literal, that leading Christian ministries from across the world are brought to the modern city of Jerusalem (Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was also crucified), and executed for the hate crime of loving Jesus. Such a thing could be part of the fulfillment of – the beast who ascends up out of the abyss will war against them and will overcome them and kill them. Yet this is also Tolkien’s road-map of taking the attention away from those who are truly the end of Satan’s fakery.

Our Inheritance. Why did Frodo and Sam do what they did? Why did they keep going in the face of all horror? The answer is very simple and very real. They loved the Shire. They loved all those silly and weak hobbits who lived lives of contentment in peace, and they were willing to give all so that their beloved people could continue, even if no one knew what they did.

The inheritance is not won by those who fight. It is won by those who LOVE. – Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Our inheritance is Jerusalem, Christian Communities everywhere, a people living in contentment and peace.

Esau. The issue is the inheritance, and those who care, win. Esau perceived no value in the inheritance. He was the kind of man who believed only what he saw around him and who took aggressively whatever he wanted.

In our study of Hebrews, we saw that Hebrews 11 and 12 are found inside of Hebrews 10:19-22, the boldness of our approach to everything we find inside of God. Hebrews 12 says this. – Such as Esau who sold his birthright for a meal. You know also that afterward, wanting to inherit the blessing, he was disqualified and could not find any change of mind, though he sought it with tears.

No Care for the Inheritance. The writer of Hebrews then presents some of the things we find inside the Holiest, that is, inside of God. Included in those things are – Mount Zion, and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, as well as the gathering of the Feast of Tabernacles.

God is our inheritance, and everything found inside of God, but especially the great joy of His Heart, Jerusalem, now come upon the earth. There are many Esau’s in Christian circles, who are so busy wanting to “go to” heaven that they have no care for the inheritance. These also will weep in loss for a season.

Our Garden of Delight. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession (Psalm 2:8).

Jerusalem is that gathering together inside of Tabernacles and the Age of Tabernacles that brings forth the knowledge of God into the knowledge of all, that Church that enables all creation to know the God in whom all dwell, BY her love for one another. This gathering is always “out from heaven,” for that is the nature of spirit. Yet it is always unfolding as life together upon the earth, a garden of delight, life forevermore.

My Inheritance. This is my inheritance. For this vision, I give all in weariness and loss, regardless. It is this inheritance that I give to God in sacrifice, losing all, KNOWING that I must receive it all back again.

I know that the morning comes when God will take my breath away with the joy of Christ Community, right here inside of heaven upon earth. I know that my grandchildren will dance with joy, with flowers in their hair. I know that we will BELONG – AT HOME – as we have never belonged before. For this, I endure all without wavering.

All Things Loss. What is my inheritance worth to me? – My home inside of Christian Community – with no shadow of evil remaining! This is the Heart of my Father of which I am speaking. One human life? One handful of years in this present frame?

I count all things loss for the glory of knowing the unveiling of Jesus Christ through His Church, a people who, right now, need God through me. What little God asks of me! What small door I am that is big enough for Him! My every moment He shares with me, whether in joy or in loss, or just feeding the chickens. Given utterly to Father for their sakes!

Such Reckless Hate. Arrayed against me and those with me is the challenge of a hatred I have never known and a cruelty I have never comprehended. Yes, there are thousands of people alive today who WANT this earth and the people upon it, that they might steal and kill and destroy, and then enslave whatever remains. They are convinced this is what God means by what He says in the Old Testament, the same as both Pharisees and Zealots.

In any normal battle, the one who wins is the one who is the most cruel. Against such reckless hate I could never stand. Yet it is the meek who inherit the earth.

A Greater Love. Think of that. (I am just overwhelmed at the story God chose to plant into my heart when I was twelve years old.) Here is what Gandalf said about Sauron and the Shire. “Hobbits as miserable slaves would please him far more than hobbits happy and free.”

Sauron would crush the Shire and enslave in chains all who survived, just because their happiness was not under his control. And doing so would be EASY for him. What could Frodo and Sam do against such reckless hate? Yet their love for their home was greater than all the hatred of evil against them.

The Direction of Hatred. Right now, most Christians on earth are giving their full support to what the wounded/healed beast-head in Tel Aviv is doing to the hapless people of the Gaza strip. What our brethren do not understand is that they are hated FAR MORE, and that what is happening by their support will be coming against them very soon, as the Bible says.

Is our love for our Christian brethren greater than the hatred for Jesus held by the other claim to the inheritance? – Come, let us kill Him, and the inheritance will be ours! Yes, it is. – Greater is He who loves inside of us than he who hates inside of this world (Timothy – paraphrased).

Fighting Against Jesus. Now, we need to turn our thinking in a very specific direction – and away from how most think. Consider this line from Revelation 17. – These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will defeat them, because He is the Lord of lords and King of kings; and those with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.

We have viewed things like this by human thinking and experience, and not by God and what He is. Jesus comes to save, not to destroy. He is not fighting against anyone, but all are fighting against Him, and thus accomplishing nothing more than keeping themselves away from Salvation and Life.

Proving Love True. But these are the rulers of this world, and thus Jesus “defeating them” means something very specific. Their goal is to prevent “love one another” from actually happening upon this earth. Jesus’ goal is to prove the Father True through “love one another.”

The fight is over the eighth ruling verse of the Bible, over the true Sacrifice returning to God for the sake of the Church, Christ Jesus now through us. My point is this. This is not a human type of fight. Those fighting against are irrelevant to our Savior. He wins by completely and utterly ignoring them even while accomplishing the Father’s purpose – And we also.

For the Inheritance. Our fight is FOR our inheritance, for her sake, and not against those who oppose. Yes, we cast down the accuser, not because we are “opposing him,” but because he is lying to our brethren, and it is his words in the heavens that we cast down for their sake. Otherwise, we give no thought to the devil and his hosts; they are irrelevant in themselves.

Here, then, is the question. – What is our inheritance? And then – How much do we care? I know that most do not see what I see, and most do not care.

What I See. I see Christian Community. I see home and fellowship. I see breaking bread together. I see kindness and respect. I see the earth bringing forth abundance. I see the heavens blowing gently upon all. I see the fire in the hearth; I see the water flowing across the rocks. I see brothers and sisters, men and women, old folks and children, loving one another with pure hearts fervently.
I see a shared life. I see a place for each. I see belonging and being needed. I see my own classroom and the faces of my students. I see each giving to each and receiving in return. I see God. I see the Father just being Himself in utter Joy.

I Care. Most see only a cult. Most of those who left the move communities where I lived for eighteen years would assure me that I am completely delusional. This is why most fantasize about “heaven” after they are dead, for they have zero hope for the church on this earth.

And most don’t care.

But I care. – If I forget thee, Oh Jerusalem, then let my right hand forget her cunning. And let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth if I prefer thee not above my chief joy. I know where home is, and I give all to Father for her sake.

Escaping Horror. The MOST TERRIBLE reality we will face over the next few years is that the majority of those who are born again and filled with the Spirit will not only refuse the inheritance, but will join the fight against the Lamb.

AND – those who are rushing into the open Doors of Salvation are escaping this very horror.

And so we must return to that infestation of demons that is the exaltation of the natural and false claim to the inheritance as it is found among our Christian brethren. As Paul, John, and Peter stated so clearly, pro-“Israel” is anti-Christ. Jesus saves individuals, not a worldly beast.

The Reach of the Gospel. I am convinced that the nameless FEAR, that causes our Christian brethren to claim, ‘The Bible says,’ when it clearly says the opposite, is programmed into them deliberately and the result of hearts not honest before God. This fear does not coincide with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You see, it would not surprise me at all if God brought millions of Syrians, Lebanese, and Palestinians into this woman clothed with the sun over the next few years. Indeed, I have carried these people in my heart for decades. Many of those will be actual descendants of Jacob, but many won’t. Inside of Jesus, it just doesn’t matter.

Against the False Claim. The inheritance is the city of God, the New Jerusalem, now upon this earth, coming every moment out from the heavens. Two claim the inheritance, but only one cares. We cast out the false claim to the inheritance that seeks to kill Jesus again. Right now our Christian brethren are caught in the worship of that false claim because they fear the wound that was healed. Because they are our inheritance, we give ourselves to Father for their sakes, that they might escape the horror of that false and murderous claim even as they rush into all the fulness of Christ. We inherit all because we value the Father’s joy above all.

A Final Note. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, earthly, material, or of human wrath, but they are mighty (2 Corinthians 10).

I have observed this horror, that when people “expose the truth about this world,” the result is an outpouring of hatred. Those who choose hatred or outward, carnal, and FALSE approaches to what is wrong in this world ARE at war against the Lamb and make themselves the SAME horror as what they imagine themselves to be fighting.

God is love, and those who love live inside of God and God inside of them.

It deceives those who dwell upon the earth through the signs that were given to it to perform in the presence of the wild beast, telling those dwelling upon the earth to make an image to the beast that had the sword-wound and yet has lived. And there was given it the ability to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast should speak and should cause all who would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

I see the world today as a “perfect-storm” fulfillment of these lines in every direction.

Let’s Pray Together. “God, our Father, we do value Your Heart above all, and Your Joy is our everlasting reward. Father, we know how important it is to You to show Yourself as Love among us, as Your Church upon this earth, coming out from Your Spirit every moment. Father, we give ourselves to You for the sake of Your Jerusalem, our brothers and sisters in every land on earth, that through our faith in You, You might win her love.

“Father, You say that You give the nations to Jesus as our inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth as our possession. Father, we care about what You give to us. Inside of the name of Jesus, we assert our claim over the inheritance, the claim of the Lamb through us, that we might win all who are given to Jesus in this final hour, that every land on earth would KNOW Christian love.

“Right now, thousands of pastors all over the world are becoming sick to their guts as they realize just how evil the false claim to the inheritance really is. Right now, they are seeing their own gathering as God’s true inheritance. And right now, millions of believers in Jesus are discovering their hearts to be filled with a genuine care for the Father’s Heart, that He might be free to live and walk among us as our love for one another.

“We know that we receive our inheritance, our brethren now in Jesus name. Father, You have answered us.”
