39. We Protect the Church

We have two pictures. First is the picture of a family of Christian brothers and sisters sitting at a large table enjoying a nourishing meal together. The second picture is savage cutthroats screaming out of the fog hacking into bloody pieces the men, women, and children who had been eating together in peace. The first picture is far, far more important, but it is the second picture that gets all the attention.

Millions of Christians eating and drinking together of Christ Jesus is what matters, but keeping them safe from vicious attack holds our attention, and John’s in his vision.

War and Peace. In this lesson, we want to look at our three actions of faith as weapons of war by which we protect the Church. Then, in the next lesson, we want to look at those same three actions as instruments of peace by which we nourish and provide for the Church.

Before we do that, I want to re-establish our exact picture, that is, the essence of what is happening. Jesus showed Annie Schissler in her visions in the early 1970’s the exact same truths that He showed John in Revelation 12. The difference is only in their own personal ways of seeing things in their differing generations.

The Wave of Pure Light. Those purified sons “above the storm” in Annie’s vision of “The Wave of Pure Light” are the same as the overcomers in John’s vision and also “those who dwell in heaven.” It is clear in the remainder of Chapter 12 that those whom the accuser does pursue after he can no longer touch the overcomers are also part of the Church – “the remainder of her seed,” as Annie saw, beloved of the Father. Thus those who are “beneath the storm” are the watchcare of “those who dwell in heaven,” that they would be kept, protected, and provided for, as God brings them through the necessary “buffeting” that they might lose those things that prevent them from knowing Him.

Desperation. …the one who is deceiving the entire inhabited world. He was thrown down into the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him… For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and those dwelling in them. But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down towards you filled with great fury, knowing that he has only a brief time. When the dragon perceived that he had been thrown down into the earth, he hunted down the woman who had brought forth the male child, to persecute her… Then the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a torrent after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away by the flood… Then the dragon was furious with the woman and went to make war with the rest of her seed…

Unsuccessful Fury. The remarkable thing about the devil throughout every point in Revelation 12 is just how unsuccessful he is. Those who are “seized into God and into His throne” are the cause of that downward spiral of total failure.

Let me use the illustration of helium-filled party balloons resting on the ceiling of your living room. They are quiet, part of the background of the party ambience. The guests are not focused on the balloons. Then, let’s say you pin-prick with a TINY hole every one of those balloons at once. Suddenly, everyone knows the balloons are there, because they are careening around in great fury as they are LOSING their strength.

Losing Their Strength. Satan and his demons become “visible” only when they are losing their grip. They much prefer to sleep in the Church. Yet the moment they become “visible” they are on their way out. I have seen this in deliverance many times.

This picture of the balloons losing their strength and thus blowing all around in fury is important, because it is only here that the beast shows itself in full. Thus “the dragon who gives power to the beast” is Satan and his demons as they are losing their strength. Thus, as Annie sees in her visions, when the great storm of evil reaches its highest point, it finds that it has no power.

What Holds My Attention. Now, as we go forward into the beast and its image and all the horror ahead, we keep this picture in mind, that the fury of the dragon is the elimination of his strength, that is, his ability to accomplish anything.

We are well aware that the majority of those who “study” find the antics of the dragon and the domination of the beast to be the topic that fills all their attention. And I also study how the insanity is unfolding in the world, for I am compelled to understand it. But the world does not interest me. What holds my attention is the actions of those who “dwell in heaven.”

A Simple Reality. “The heavens and those who dwell in them,” however, is a metaphor, necessary for those who don’t. Those who do, say it this way. “I dwell inside of my Father.”

And that must be the first box on our page, for all the problems experienced by our Christian brethren exist only because they cannot grasp such a simple and pure reality. Even Annie’s statement is looking at the simple reality of the gospel from afar. – “Those who walked above the storm had a very intimate relationship with Him, characterized by a great intensity, as if they were linked with the same fires and torrents of the divine nature.”

They Can’t See. A sister who reads my letters said this to me, “Daniel as you keep pointing out to us that all our travail is for the sake of the Body of Christ THE Church. So many of my friends can't see this. But God…”

“So many of my friends can’t see” – that sharing life with our Father is the essence of the gospel and the meaning of being human. And I am always overwhelmed at the inability of most Christians to see anything desirable in what I share. My goodness, sharing life with the Father out from all the Gospel verses, what could be greater!!!? Why they “can’t see” is my continual concern.

Creating Our Page. The first box will be “I Live inside of Father.” This will be “I,” not “we,” for living inside of Father is utterly personal. The second box will be titled “The Flood – the Matrix.” Let me define my use of the word “flood” here. The flood is EVERYTHING proceeding out from the devil and his demons into the human experience. The third and largest box will be “Our Prayer.” Most of our speaking of Christ in this lesson will be our direct prayer for our Christian brethren. In this box, I hope to have seven sub-headings, a list of seven things that prevent our brethren from seeing, with our prayers directed against each one in turn.

Knowing Father. The only way to know the Father is to know Jesus Sent into us. Knowing that we are inside of Jesus and Jesus inside of us then expands into our knowing that we are, with Jesus, inside of Father and Father is, with Jesus, inside of us.

Jesus is one of us; we know Him as a fellow human, though He exists now as a life-giving Spirit, that is, able to dwell inside each one of us as well as inside us together. Thus we know Father in the same way, as part of our selves, part of our very souls. Yet we know Father and ourselves as distinct persons, two together as one. Every next step I take is Father with me, and we together turn it into life for others, the unfolding of the Kingdom.

I Live inside of Father. I live the normal Christian life; I live inside of God my Father, and He lives inside of me. We share Jesus together; we share Hheart together. Through Jesus, I share Father’s soul with Him, and through Jesus, Father shares my soul with me. God and I share life together. I know that my every moment is Father with me, sharing Himself with me through Jesus. Every next step is Father and I taking that step together, synergeoing together, making all good. The authority of God is in my every step, and the Kingdom goes out from me.

Metaphors of Death. Just as many different metaphors in John’s vision speak of the same ministry of Christ to His Church, so there are many different metaphors that speak all of the same one thing, - the flood, the river Euphrates, the image of the beast, the number of its name, the harlot, and so on.

This is the mind that knows good and evil, anointed by demons, and sending forth its death into every place. This mind cannot know the Father, for it is at war against Him. Yet it is this mind that holds power over our brethren, having taken on the guise of “the gospel,” a mind, coming out from this flood or vomit of death, that prevents them from seeing Jesus in their hearts and from knowing Father.

The Matrix. The Matrix movie gives us the exact picture we need to understand how all this works. You see, the flood is a metaphor that appears to be going in one direction only. But the dragon gets its strength by sucking it out of humans, by “feeding on the flesh.” Flood in – strength out.

In The Matrix, great tubes are attached to the body of each human caught in its power. The “flood” coming into each human does two things. First, it fills the human mind with a fantasy that seems real to the human. And second, it feeds the human with a slurry of yuck that keeps it alive. But the same tubes remove energy from the human to feed and power the matrix.

The Serpent’s Flood. The dragon’s strength comes from humans. Disconnecting our Christian brethren from the tree of knowing good and evil, from the gospel of death, breaks the flow of strength into the evil one. This is serious business. It is war. – “Come out of her, My people!” Do not be attached to the harlot; do not think you can ride the beast.

The serpent’s flood, or “vomit,” is complex inside the human experience and has MANY channels. Nonetheless it has one purpose only, to keep Christians away from the simplicity of the gospel, from sharing life with Father through knowing Jesus Sent into them.

The Flood – the Matrix. Satan and his demons get their strength from human rebellion, from the desperate drawing that is the lusts of the flesh. In order to maintain their access to this energy, they flood humans with a flow of every contrary and imaginary idea and sensation. As a result, humans live inside the confusion of a mind that “knows” good and evil and interpret everything out from its psychosis. But it is from the Christian Church that Satan gets his real strength, for Christians do not know their authority, and they use it for death. It is against the Church that his greatest forces are arrayed. As we separate the demonic and the lie from our fellow believers, Satan loses his strength in great fury. Now we protect the Church.

A Wrong Interpretation. I want to look critically at something Annie says. “The ones who were under the storm… were allowed to be moved, shaken and buffeted. …the way in which the Lord would mold, transform and develop them.” The problem is not Ed Miller’s wording, but the typical interpretation of “mold, transform and develop.”

There is a conception that Christians are lacking in character, and their character and their performance must be improved. This way of thinking is DEATH. Reality is that the attachments a Christian has to the world and to false theology prevent him from knowing the Father in whom he already dwells.

Removing False Attachments. God has no intention of “improving” us, for we are exactly as He wishes. What God is doing is reducing us down to what we are, simple humans living inside of God and drawing no sufficiency from self.

My meaning of “reduce us down” and the meaning of removing the tubes attached to the humans in The Matrix are the same. The image of the beast feeds humans with false identities. Those false identities come through channels that are as varied as humans, channels designed for each human. REPENTANCE means living only inside of Jesus in all our acknowledgment.

Jesus Comes First. Here is my own testimony. In my life and experience, my attachment to Jesus happened BEFORE any disconnection from a false identity. It is the presence of Jesus and our attachment to Him that causes the false to vanish away.

Now, we have prayed against seven false things as the seals preventing Christians from reading Christ inside of them. In fact, we have gone through that layout several times. I want to come up with seven other attachments that feed the self-stories of death into our brethren. We will accomplish the same thing, but from a different perspective.

Seven Deadly Attachments. Here are seven deadly powerful attachments that feed false stories into the minds of our Christian brethren. These attachments are demonic. We break them with prayer. (1) Accusing God of knowing evil. (2) Worshipping the beast and its image. (3) Refusing the inheritance. (4) Sorcery. (5) The hatred of the flesh (and carbon), that is, the love of death. (6) The lust to control. (7) The cup of Confusion.

Now, all of these things are topics in the chapters and lessons coming up and we will expand on each. Here, we are protecting the Church with mighty blows of deliverance, that is, casting out demons. I will describe each briefly, and then we will pray.

A False Image. I think to most Christians God is an idea in their minds, and all their thoughts about God are – about. When we talk about experiential living inside of a Life-Giving Spirit who is our Father, they cannot fit our words with their ideas.

And “God” in the minds of all humans, Christian and non-Christian, is a being who is known through Jesus and who is known through the devil as a terrible mixture or caricature – a “God” who knows good and who knows evil. This false image of God is demonism, and we BREAK the demons who pour its false story into human minds.

Against Satan as the Image of God. By the Blood of Jesus, we break the wicked demonic infestation that accuses God of knowing evil inside the minds of Christians, this seeing of God through the image of the devil. The Blood covers the Church; Satan, you are gone!

If Sinners Entice You. When you see national flags waving inside of Christian assemblies, you know that Satan is preparing Christians to murder their neighbors. God instructs us to obey the beast in what is right, but NOT to worship it or to follow it into thievery and murder.

As Solomon said, “My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent. If they say, ‘Come with us, let us lie in wait to shed blood; let us lurk secretly for the innocent without cause… We shall find all kinds of precious possessions, we shall fill our houses with spoil; cast in your lot among us, let us all have one purse.’”

Wave the flag – kill your neighbor to steal his stuff, the “oneness,” the patriotism of this world.

Image and Name. The image of the beast is the source of that flow of thinking into the minds of all humans, whether from the television and evening news, or from books, newspapers, and the Internet, or from schools and textbooks, or from neighborhood gossip and “fact checkers,” etc., etc. The number of its name is the imprint of beast-thinking required of each individual by all the humans around as well as by the powers that control.
 
This rigid way of thinking is shattered-ness and opposition, accusation and cursing, self-exaltation and self-abasement. Much of it is Marxism, group against group, exploitation and victimhood. Rugged individualism is hardly better.

Against Worshipping Beast & Image. We testify with power that all come through the good-speaking of Jesus, that no one belongs to the beast and its image. By the power of God, we sever all attachment to flag and country among our brethren. Our Word of “Christ your life” breaks away all beastly grip.  

Who Is Responsible? Our entire study pre-supposes that the care for Kingdom and Church lies upon the shoulders of the One who lives in our hearts and who reveals Himself through us together who believe into Him. Yet astonishingly, this assumption is rejected by most.

A faraway “Jesus” and a someday “salvation” create any number of excuses for many to join with Esau in despising the inheritance. The largest is the astonishing claim that the inheritance belongs to the natural descendants of Jacob with Jesus on the outside of them. But if He does not live inside of them they cannot belong to Him nor even care for creation.

Against the False Claim [Against Refusing the Inheritance]. Out from the Love of our hearts shared with God, we embrace the inheritance as our own, including all our Christian brethren. As we join them with Father inside our hearts, the demonism of the natural claim is broken and cast down. As we embrace humility, the cries of flesh against promise are forever silenced.

Modern Chemicals. Sorcery is injecting toxic chemicals into the human blood and calling it “health and well-being.” Those chemicals alter the human mind. Some of them now alter the very genetic blueprint of the human. It doesn’t matter if these chemicals come through air or food and drink or from professionals in white cloaks. It doesn’t matter if they are legal or illegal.

In our world today, sorcery is an obsession, and it alters the minds and souls of humans – towards the beast. How much does the modern inability to know God, to see His Word and to hear His Voice, come from the chemicals flooding the human frame?

Against Sorcery. By the Blood of Jesus, we break the lie that man-made chemicals improve human well-being. We break the spell of pharmaceuticals, legal and illegal, and the lure of poisoned food over the minds of our brethren. By the Blood, we protect our brethren from the insignia of the Beast.

The Root of Religion. The hatred of the flesh was the source of Adam’s sin, and it was the thing in the move communities that blocked us from knowing our precious union with Christ. The hatred of the flesh is a hatred of God and how He made us, a hatred of being His image as we are. The hatred of the flesh was the driving force in the hammering out of Nicene theology. It is the root of “religion” and of the quest for “spiritual superiority” and “heaven someday.”

Incredibly, it has become the hatred of carbon, the building block of all life on earth, a powerful and deceitful religion that has one goal, the DEATH of billions of humans.

Against Hating the Flesh. We speak with power, “You are one Spirit with Jesus; you are one flesh with Jesus,” and the hatred of the flesh (even now of carbon), the source of all religion, is removed from the hearts of our brethren. Our Word, “Place your flesh upon God,” prevails.

Hatred of Others. Freedom does not exist any longer anywhere. It was a one-time and partial experience that cannot return. That hatred of freedom comes from one place, everything else is just a symptom. Authoritarian government, Marxism, censorship, war, slavery, these things are all just symptoms of this one cause of chaos and ruin.

That cause is the human heart empty of God, a heart that CANNOT STAND for anyone to do anything of which “I” do not approve. The lust to “control my neighbor” in all of its many forms and expressions, is the enemy of God and of creation.

Against the Lust to Control. As we love not our souls for the sake of others, so we eliminate the flow of lust to control from the hearts of our brethren. Our Mercy strips Satan of all his claim. We replace the lust to control with reciprocal Love, the revelation of Jesus Christ.

A Golden Cup. The cup in the hand of confusion, the source of the mixture of all these terrible connections of slurry feeding into the minds of humans on this earth, and especially our brethren, is Nicene theology, a theology that appears to draw near, but which then separates and opposes. The tree of death is always right next to the Tree of Life.

Nicene theology is filled with Bible verses and gospel truths; it even allows a real connection with Jesus to exist. It can even grow large enough to allow immersion in the Spirit. But it never allows Paul’s gospel to be known, or John 14:20, or knowing Father sharing all with us. It makes all drunk.

Against the Cup of Confusion. By the Blood of the Lamb, by the Word of our Testimony, by giving our souls to Father for others, we crush the cup in the hands of confusion that has made our brethren drunk on a “Jesus” faraway and someday. The power of Nicene unbelief is no more. Our brethren are free to RUN into God.

Every Stumbling Step. The imprisonment of our brethren is brutal; our warfare against the demons is even more brutal. We don’t play games; we don’t pull punches. We know we are opposed in the heavens, and so we are not disturbed when all sorts of strange trials press against us.

A balloon loses air over time, but Sauron in the Lord of the Rings showed no expression of his immanent destruction stumbling step by weary step across the plains of Mordor. Yet in one moment, all his strength departed from him, from all his armies, and from all he had built.

Jesus proves Himself through our every stumbling step.

Reading for Next Time. The next lesson is titled, “We Provide for the Church.” Just as in our initial picture, savages coming to kill and a family eating dinner together, are very different concepts, so we will approach nourishing the Church quite differently.

Then the woman escaped into a desolate condition where she found a place that had been prepared for her by God, where THEY will nourish her for one thousand two hundred and sixty days. – And the two wings of a great eagle were given to the woman so that she could fly into a desolate condition, into her place where she is nourished for a time, times, and half a time away from the face of the serpent.

Let’s Conclude Our Prayer. “God, our Father, we give You all thanks that, as we know ourselves only inside of Jesus as Your overcomers, so Jesus Himself fulfills His Word through us into Your Church. It is Jesus who proves that You always speak the Truth, and we give You thanks that He has done so through us.

“Father, we have given ourselves utterly to You for the sake of our brothers and sisters in Christ scattered all across the earth and now in their hour of greatest trial. Father, our prayers are absolute, we prevail in the heavens, and all that opposes You inside Your Church is cast down. – It is as we speak, for You answer us.”
