23. We Are the Trumpet Sound

Audio Only:

Then I saw the seven angels who stand firm and established in the presence of God, and seven trumpets were given to them. Another angel came and stood at the golden altar, having a censer, and much incense was given to him, which he will offer with the prayers of all the devoted ones upon the golden altar before the throne. And the smoke of the incense went up in the presence of God with the prayers of the devoted ones, out of the hand of the angel. Then the angel took the censer and filled it out from the fire of the altar and cast it into the earth; and there were thunders, noises, and flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

Our Sacrifice Forever. As far as I am concerned, this introduction to the Trumpets confirms everything I have said regarding what God means by this part of John’s vision. Yet what we have here is a most incredible picture.

In the past, we saw this as on our way into the Holiest, that, somehow, God will hear our prayers. But one who is turned around inside the Holiest and seated upon Mercy says always, “Father, You have answered me.” There is no veil; the Altar of Incense now functions as part of the Holiest. The Fire represents our sacrifice forever, synergeoing with God to make all things good through the Church.

The Fire of the Altar. The prayer that is out from God is “Father, you and I together turn this desperate circumstance into goodness for the sake of our people.” You see, the first action of those who are seated upon Mercy, as they step out into the Church, the Ark of the Covenant going forth, is to embrace every circumstance as a step taken with Father, a place where all who belong to Jesus can find refuge and hope. This is the Fire of the Altar.

Notice that the Fire goes in two directions at the same time. It lives as incense inside the Presence of God, and it is cast as coals of fire into the earth. I have added a chapter, coming up soon, called “Fire in the Earth.”

The Gospel. Here is the same thing in the gospel. – For of Christ we are a fragrance to God inside those being saved, and inside those still perishing; to one, indeed, an aroma out from death into death [always the one death of Christ], to the other an aroma out from life into life (2 Corinthians 2:15-16).

This fire, cast into the earth, is the judgment taking place inside our fellow believers in Jesus, a judgment that comes to them because we carry them in our hearts inside of God. This fire and this judgment burns away every obstacle that each one has built against Redemption, that is, against being able to know how much Jesus loves them.

The Layout of Our Page. Notice that the sounding of the Trumpets comes out from the casting of this pure Fire into Christians everywhere. Our Trumpet CALL is to keep that Fire bright, until we see a woman clothed with the sun, that is. with Christ Jesus.

There will be no statements of faith from Revelation 8 & 9; rather, we will begin the page right away with “The Great Reset” and “The Battle,” followed by “The Trumpet Call.” Then, the larger box will be a series of proclamations calling Christ Jesus into every arena of influence and power inside Christianity, having been vacated by the false.

Let’s set the Church on Fire.

The Great Reset. Everything exists only by the speaking of God that is Jesus. When Jesus died upon the cross, in substance, the entirety of the original creation ceased. Then, Jesus spoke us anew inside of Himself as we rose from the dead inside of Him. By substance all things are brand new, all things are of God. Yet appearance remains tethered to the old in human imagination. With Jesus, we render inoperative all that blinds God’s people to the Truth, and we speak the All-Salvation of God into our brethren. – You are reconciled to God.

The Battle. Many enemies seek to prevent the Church of Christ from knowing the Salvation of God and to destroy her. God has given us weapons to protect His people from all. In reality, however, we fight only one battle as we render inoperative all opposition, the same battle Jesus fought. In all wailing confusion, when God seems to have forsaken us, we assert, “God, You are with me. You answer me.” Then, out from that Victory, in the midst of all calamity, we give thanks, we speak Christ, and we carry our brethren in our hearts.

Trumpets in Israel. Every time the word “trumpet” appears in Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers, it’s meaning is important to us. First, the trumpet is a sound in the heavens above Mt. Sinai. Specifically, that trumpet call is to all God’s people to come into the presence of God. It is a call so great that all the people tremble.

Then this. – And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice (Exodus 19:19). Yet Hebrews says that we are not come to a literal blast or fire or mountain, but rather to the heavenly Jerusalem, a woman, a Church, clothed with the sun, clothed with Fire.

Sounding the Call. The trumpets in Israel sounded the call to begin the feast days; in fact, there was an entire feast of the sounding of trumpets to call God’s people to the Day of Atonement and to God Tabernacling among them. The trumpets sounded the call for the journeying forth of the Ark of the Covenant. But most of all, they sounded the call to war. –

When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies (Numbers 10:9).

Enter into Christ. However, this statement came just before the Israelites refused to enter the promised land, that is, all the life of Christ, because they feared the giants and all the difficulties inside such a land. Here is what Moses said. ‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes” (Deuteronomy 1:29-30).

The sounding of these trumpets in this end of the age is the call of God to all believers in Jesus to enter into all the fulness of Christ, into Christian Community across the earth, and He will defeat all the enemies of that Land.

The Trumpet Call. The trumpets are of God and not of evil. They sound in the midst of calamity, but for the revelation of Christ. The trumpet is a call to God’s people to enter into all that is Christ. The trumpet is a call to God to enter into His fully prepared House. The trumpet is a call to war, that God would arise, that all that opposes Christ be rendered inoperative. We are the trumpet sound, calling God into our world, calling our brethren to see God alone. We speak with bold proclamation. We speak the power of God into His Church. In the midst of all calamity, in the midst of all opposition, we clothe her with the Lord Jesus Christ.

A Call. The seven trumpets are a call to war on the one hand and a call to the entrance of God on the other hand. But, as we have seen, the real battle, the one battle that wins everything is the acknowledgement of the entrance of God. Let God arise; let His enemies be scattered (Psalm 68:1). The word “arise” does NOT mean that God is “asleep,” and now He “ gets up and gets with it.” Rather, it means that God has not been acknowledged, but now He is acknowledged.

Seven times we boldly proclaim God’s entrance into our world. Seven times power is released into the Church.

Our Setting. As we are each trumpet sound, we boldly proclaim each one of these powers into our brethren. The context of each trumpet call, however, we will consider in light of Psalm 91.

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you… Because you have made the Lord… your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels [a] charge over you, to keep you in all your ways… And the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

Essence. You come out from the Pro-Knowing of God through the good-speaking of Christ Jesus every moment. You exist no other way; you have no other source. This Christ Jesus is Spirit and Word always together, always energeoing every particle of your being.

Yet this same Christ Jesus has entered into you in Person, sent by the Father, to be your very and only Life. He is written as every Word God speaks upon your human heart of flesh. He alone causes you to know the Father. For this Christ Jesus inside of you is the very substance of God, meek and lowly of heart, carrying all others into the knowledge of God. Know Him. Love Him. Be as He is.

Fire. Even as hail and fire mixed with blood are cast into the earth, so our God as a consuming Fire is entering into His Church, entering with Blood. He comes as sovereign Lord, consuming everything you are into Himself. Place your forehead upon the ground before the One who carries all. Be silent inside His presence. When He speaks to you, say, “Yes, Lord.” When He speaks to you say, “Let it be to me according to Your Word.”

God is good in all your circumstances. God is true in every Word He speaks. He comes to make you part of His Fire, part of Himself. He clothes you with the Lord Jesus Christ, along with all your brethren. Be what you are.

Entrance. Give thanks. Give thanks and speak good grace inside of and for the sake of all things. Give thanks that God made you human, weak and incapable. Give thanks that you cannot please God or do His will. Give thanks that He alone directs your steps; He alone is your Salvation.

Justify God in all things and find Him right and true. When He rebukes you, agree with Him. When He confronts you with your folly, say only, “I am in Your hands, Oh God.” Give thanks for the sake of every circumstance into which God has walked with you, for God is good in all things. Regardless of appearance, turn its outcome to goodness.

Good and True. As fire consumes the unregenerate and as the seas are turned to blood, as a thousand fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, give God thanks for every step you and He take together. “God, You are with me. God, You have answered me.”

As you give thanks, so you have entered into the presence of God. As you speak good grace into all, so God enters into His creation through you and your brethren with you. As you acknowledge “Father-with-me” in every moment, so the knowledge of God flows forth into all the earth. God is Good in all things; God is True in every Word He speaks.

Connection. See the Blood. See the Value greater than the universe. See the beyond-all Love of Jesus that has enveloped you into Himself. Absolute. Total. Finished. Beyond all.

See the Cross – BEHIND you. All that opposes God is gone forever. See the absolute barrier that stands between you and ALL THINGS construed as death. It is finished. KNOW no sufficiency in self. KNOW all sufficiency in God.

Confess the Resurrection Life of Christ in which you now live, you inside of Jesus and Jesus inside of you. By His Love enveloping you, by His life laid down and love poured out, JESUS connects you with God and all things.

Blood Covenant. When stars fall out of the heavens, when the life of this world becomes bitter to all, you walk every step connected absolutely to God through the Blood Covenant that is Jesus. Everything that is God belongs to you, and everything that is you belongs to God. Jesus makes it happen every moment forever. God shares your life with you and every step you take comes out from you and the Father together.

This LOVE that comes to you as Blood, upon which you are seated, also stands as your connection with all who believe into Jesus, your brothers and sisters, one Body together. Know them through the Value of the Blood. Love them even as they love you.

Means. God loves you; love Him in return. You give to God nothing except what He has first given to you, and you give to God only by giving to others reciprocally. Love is not of you, but of God. God is bound to you in all by Covenant. The Love of God IS shed abroad in your heart by Spirit Devoted given to you. Love out from God.

Death accomplishes nothing: Jesus “someday” is anti-gospel. You are redeemed. Salvation now goes out through you into your world. This is God’s means, how God accomplishes all Salvation through you, that you give to others what is God first in you.

Power that Transforms. When the sun is dimmed, when darkness comes upon both day and night, when all humans stagger in darkness, a great light DAWNS – the love you share with your brethren and they with you. Freely you have received; freely give.

This reciprocal Love, back and forth between believers in Jesus, the acknowledgment of God among us, is the only power that can transform this world – AND IT WILL. Reciprocal Light in the midst of all darkness, reciprocal Love in the midst of all hate, from such a Christianity, clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ, comes the knowledge of God into the knowledge of all.

Response. Jesus comes into you as every Word God speaks; receive Him in all that He is. Believe into Him and refuse all else. God has given you the authority to RECEIVE all that Jesus is, now become all that you are. And God has given you the ability to REFUSE all that speaks against Christ in you.

God says that you dwell inside the Holiest, turned around and seated upon Mercy. God says that you are filled with all the fulness of God and that Rivers of Spirit are always flowing out from you. Say to Him, “Yes Lord.” Believe that God is always telling you the truth. Receive Jesus, absolute and ALL, and cast down all other thought.

Cast Your Enemy Down. As the great abyss is opened again and the wailing cries of powerful demons are released into the affairs of humans, stinging all who do not know Jesus, as people all around you cry out for death, but it does not come, so you STAND inside of Jesus and you CAST your enemy down. And you do this together with your brothers and sisters, for one another, and for the sake of all who belong to Jesus.

It matters not how many times you have cast down all that opposes Christ Jesus your only life, and all that has accused your brethren, you cast it down again – TODAY. It is Jesus alone whom you have received, inside of whom you live. And He alone lives inside of you.

Condition. God has made you free to be the human that you are. You walk in all glorious Liberty. Your human personality is your portion of the Personality of your Father. God reduces you to the person He has made you to be; you never have to hide again or to pretend to be “right.” You are FREE in God to humble yourself beneath your brothers and sisters and to lift them up even as they do the same towards you.

You, as you are human, and together with all believers, are the appearance of God in creation. Your fellowship together IS God-made-visible.

Changed through Weakness. You are weak. God made you to be weak and to receive your brothers and sisters even in their weakness as well. The ability of Jesus is made perfect and complete inside all your human inability. And in the midst of that weakness, taking each next step in utter trust in God, do not fear what comes out from the darkness, for its time is over.

Even as violence and demonism scream their final desperate FAIL, even as the source of death feeding Babylon is about to be cut off, it is your utter trust in God, together with your brethren, one step at a time, that brings it all to an end. It is your Liberty in weakness that changes the appearance of everything from the old to the new.

Proclaiming Victory. The seventh trumpet does not come until Chapter 11. We will give it an entire session, and not include it here. What we want to do now is insert these six BOLD proclamations into our Jesus Secret box titled “Power into the Church.”

When God said to me, “I have loved you with an everlasting love,” part of what He meant was that in every confused moment of my life, in every stumbling step, He has already accomplished these things in my life. And you as well.

We freely proclaim this Victory into the entire Church.

Power into the Church. As God’s trumpet sound, we call God as being already inside His Church in power.

Essence: You come out from God through the good speaking of Jesus; you have no other source. This same Jesus is written in Person upon your heart of flesh as your very Life. In the midst of all fire, put the Lord Jesus upon all that you are.

Entrance: Give thanks and speak good grace inside of and for the sake of all things. Give thanks for your weak humanity and inside of every stumbling step you take with Father. In the midst of all rebuke, justify God and agree with Him.

Connection: See the Blood more valuable than all. Know the absolute Love of Jesus for you. See the Cross behind you, finished. Know that the life of Jesus joins you always with Father. In the midst of all bitterness, you share life with God.

Means: God in you accomplishes all Salvation. You give to God what He has first given to you, and by giving to others reciprocally. In the midst of all darkness, your love shared with others is a new day, the power that transforms the world.

Response: Receive Jesus as every Word God speaks. Refuse all word that speaks against. You dwell inside of God; life flows out from you. In the midst of all demonic cry, cast down your enemy, knowing Jesus Sent into and as you.

Condition: You are free in Jesus to be the human God made; you walk in glorious liberty. In the midst of the final failure of violence and death, receive your brethren as they are Jesus to you.

The Salvation of God. This has become very exciting to me, for these places of Kingdom power inside the Church and out from her into all creation will each have an entire lesson in Symmorphy VII: Completion. I wish each had a chapter. We now know what the Salvation of God really is.

We have a lesson coming up soon in which we will take a brand new look at the entirety of Revelation. I now see that the specific layout of the elements of this book is not showing us events in time, but rather, the layout is God’s perfect order for us to understand and to KNOW what He is doing now through us into our world.

Reading for Next Time. The next lesson is titled “We Are the Completion.” For that lesson, read Revelation Chapter 10 at least three times in the JSV. This chapter is preparing us to comprehend the meaning of the seventh trumpet call in the second part of Chapter 11.

In the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be completed. This mystery is Christ in you the hope of glory. It is the resurrection out from death, no longer subject to decay.

It is the Jesus Secret.

Let’s Pray Together. “God, our Father, we have spoken You inside Your Church. Your Salvation goes forth into all the world. You are our strength, Oh God, in the midst of all calamity, all darkness, all travail. You share all things with us.

“Father, we know that You are with us. We know that You hear us and that You have already answered us. We know, Father, that You are opening the hearts of our brothers and sisters all across the earth to know You and to know Jesus in all that He is. In the midst of all assault, You keep us, and You show us Your Salvation. We give You all thanks in Jesus’ name.”
