18. Faith Dispels Refusal

Faith: The simple act of receiving what God says as the only thing right and true; the turning away from all outward seeing and judgment and the turning to the good speaking of Christ as the only thing by which all things exist, and especially, me, personally.

Refusal: The innate rejection of God here, God now, and God with me; the closing of eyes and ears against the good speaking of Jesus sustaining all; a false ‘humility’ based on aggrieved superiority; Christian unbelief that allows the Christian rebellion of dishonesty.

This is the door of procreation, the generation and energeia of life; that is, Door 5 is Life.

And this is why God placed the most important verse in the Bible as the ruling verse.

Those who love God – Firstborn (followed by) out from the same womb.

Two lives or two energeias – receiving God Seed  as our energeia, calling everything in life as God with me for the sake of others – or – refusing to know Word in the heart, calling everything in life as God against me (or even for me) because of me.

What is my life? Is Christ my only life (Colossians 3:3) or is such a thing, whatever it means, coming only someday? Do I have a life of my own, a life that is not Christ?

The Door of Life closed is refusal; but the Door of Life flung wide open is faith, receiving every Word God speaks as the Lord Jesus Himself, becoming Himself in and as us, and now written all through our hearts. The Door of Life is the energeia of God energeoing us; that is, we are sustained every moment by the good speaking of Jesus. Yet we know that good-speaking only as it enters through our faith – forever.

What does that Door of Life-Energeia wide open to God mean in our lives? And what is God free to be inside of and through us as He enters as that Door?

It is easy to see how God as our LIFE must flow immediately out from having turned around into knowing God as our only Source.

But we are speaking of procreation, of receiving God-Seed in order to bring forth God-life. – “For whom I labor in birth again until Christ be formed inside of you” (Paul, in Galatians). Only those who live turned around inside of God can know Jesus in this way.

Sustaining all things by the Word of His power (Hebrews 1:3). I did not know this verse, how it must define everything, until after God had turned me around inside of Him.

Let’s consider procreation in the natural world, as Agar called it, the mystery of a man with a maid. A husband plants his seed in the womb of his wife; at the same time, she receives that seed, that it might be joined together with her seed. At the moment of the sperm entering into union with the egg, a new human life springs into existence. Very rapidly, then, that new human life develops inside the womb of its mother until that desperate moment when it is pressed out of the womb and into a world of life.

Jesus is our husband, planting His Seed into our womb. Jesus is also that Sperm of God that is planted inside of us. But Jesus cannot be our life in us except we receive Him as our life.

You see, Jesus as the Sperm of God (and sperm is the Greek word Paul used) must pierce the wall of our faith and mix Himself together with our willing and joyous receiving of Him. That’s what it means to be born again, that is, conceived again.

Nonetheless, Jesus is not a static word or being. Jesus is the Word God continuously speaks, actively sustaining all in every ongoing moment. For that reason, He is continuously entering out from Father as every word God speaks, yet through our own continual statement of “let it be to me.” And He is also continuously entering out from us into Father as the story of our human lives inside of God.

But here is God’s order. In that day you will know (1) that I am inside of the Father, and (2) you inside of Me, and (3) I inside of You. Consider the meaning of the second always coming BEFORE the third.

Unless I believe that I AM inside of God inside of Jesus, I cannot know that Jesus lives in Person inside of me. And thus those sad and sorry Christians in heaven are hiding out under the altar of incense because they are afraid and they will not believe. They refuse to KNOW that they are already inside of God and thus they cannot know that Jesus lives inside of them.

Defining the Open Door:
Virtue #5: The proof of Christ through me, that Jesus is the very Energeia of God energeoing and sustaining all that I am as my ONLY life force. This goes far deeper than we have known thus far, however, for this is Jesus written as every word God is speaking all through the pathways of our hearts. This is sharing Hheart with God. To share word with God is to share life with God is to share Jesus with God is to share Hheart with God. This proof is the absolute certainty in which we walk, our supreme confidence that we ARE part of Christ, part of Father revealed.

Virtue #5. My certainty, having turned around, that I share Hheart with God as my only life force.

But this is also the Door of full faith, the faith of the Son of God. And faith means accepting ourselves as God made us, as humans in all that being human means. And the fruit of this open door is the next, a human life, in life together, lived honest and real.

God-in for Us:
The experience of opening the first three doors in our lives was a personal learning of the meaning and extent of our precious union with Christ. It was a season of rest. But having turned around inside the Holiest, as the action of opening the Door of Source to God our Father, now our involvement with God through us is at a much deeper and more interactive level.

We are free to know God sharing our lives with us because we never fall back into that stupid and rebellious stance of imagining ourselves needing to “get back with God.” God with us is the only thing we know.

And so we see that the definition of an open Door 1, the Door of Being, and the definition of an open Door 5, the Door of Life, are almost the same. If we are speaking of the classroom, we could see the first as desk work, learning the truth of Christ our life, and the second as going into the laboratory, practicing what it means to share Christ with God.

That is a really neat way to understand this whole thing.

And the practice of sharing Christ with God is the practice of sharing Hheart with God.
Having turned around, everything is now coming out from God in our hearts as Covenant. Indeed, we are finally living out from – Christ lives inside your heart through faith. Yet because Jesus has turned us around, we now see life more and more as Father with us.

Here is our faith. – “Father, this awful thing I just went through, my complete failure to be kind, my feelings of ‘rebellion,’ Father, You are sharing all these things with me as part of me. Father, this is Your travail; You are sharing with me just a taste of the agony of Christ for others. And Father, as You and I expect together, we know together that our Holy Spirit is going from our agony to be blessing and light and joy to others.”

This way of thinking, that I share Hheart with God, is simply the best way to live, and it is the only place where true transformation actually happens.

Defining the Door Closed
In complete contrast, holding that door tightly closed and locked is a simple thing. “God, I cannot enter into You because I am full of sin and sinfulness. Therefore, God, the thought that You are living in me, filling me with all that You are has to be an ‘evil’ thought. You can’t live in me because my sinful human nature keeps You out (thank God).”

To whom, moreover did He swear would not enter into His rest if not to those having refused to be persuaded? And we see that they were not able to enter in through unbelief, {no one can enter [into God] through the absence of faith} (Hebrews 3:18-19).

The refusal to enter into God through faith alone is the pretext; the real refusal is against God, that He would not dare to enter into my world through my present lowly state because I insist on being ‘better.’

Keeping God Out
Waving the false flag of “sin, sin, I am a sinner,” then, is the simple and effective way to refuse the Lord Jesus, to keep God far away “where He belongs.”

Yet here is where the deepest and most despairing lie of the serpent, the curse of his lie, comes into Christian theology and experience. The lie is – Christ is not your life. But the curse of that lie, far, far worse, is – You have a life not-Christ.

And so an imagined doctrine was formed, contrary to the gospel, yet forced upon the very words of the New Testament, that the human soul, sandwiched between Christ in the Spirit and Sin in the Flesh, that our human soul has a life of its own, and that this imagined “life” is contrary to God. “Your will and God’s will are utterly opposed. You, by your human ‘nature’ are always at war with God.”

This desperate holdout for a “sinful LIFE that is all my own,” then, is the fiercest effort of Christians to keep God out of their flesh, to keep God incarnate away from them. You see, if they allowed a God who shows Himself as He is through them as they are, they would have to give thanks for the way God made them and surrender to Him all their lust for superiority.

The False Call
What, then, is the “God” who is called falsely through an otherwise closed Door 5 into the knowledge of Christians?

 Calling God in falsely through a closed Door 5 is every form of turning the words of God into something other than Jesus written upon the heart. And thus we see that the original “false call” was “Did God indeed say?”

Think about those words; calling God into Adam and Eve in a false way was exactly the intention and action of those words. Even more than that, the serpent wanted Eve to speak God’s words, not as life, but as curse. By getting Eve to say, “God curse,” he was calling himself as the image of God into Eve’s mind.

Every single false call, then, results in the calling of the serpent into the mind of the believer as the image and description of God. This is why so many people hate Joel Osteen’s practice of teaching Christians to speak God favor instead of God curse. He is violating their image of “God.”

“What does God mean by what He says” goes right to the bottom of everything. Indeed, the moment one attempts an answer to that question apart from “Christ lives in my heart through faith,” then everything we might know about God, about humans, about Christ, and about salvation must split off into every direction of confusion.

I think we have found a key point here. Christ, every Word God speaks, as our life – or – every word God speaks as disconnected ideas bouncing around in the human mind. “Disconnected ideas bouncing around in the human mind” is the definition of the false human “soul,” an untrue self-story, an identity of self that does not include Jesus as our life.

Adam was considering Jesus entering into him as every Word God speaks to be his only life. Eve was being drawn to mental ideas about God and to discussing what God might mean by what He says. When Adam joined Eve in seizing word as mental ideas for the purpose of control, Word as Jesus entering as our life vanished and the disconnected ideas of self bouncing around in the human mind became the soul of humanity.

And that tells us that Mary’s response to God was the single most revolutionary action in human history until that moment, for she defied the order set by Adam and the serpent. And her casting down of that false order allowed Jesus, every Word God speaks, to enter into her.

The words, “you have a life not-Christ,” and the spinning of disconnected and accusing thoughts as the fabric of the human soul, are the same thing. Together they call the devil into the human experience, with all his tormenting spirits, as the image and definition of “God.”

Under this regime, all knowledge gained by humans, then, serves only for the exaltation of self at the expense and hurt of others.

The True Call
But look at the true response of the gospel, something utterly different. “Look at me, God; I belong to You. Let every Word that You speak, the Lord Jesus Christ, be inside of me all that He is and means.”

The true call of God is the Mono-Seed of the gospel, “Christ lives in my heart through ‘let it be to me.’” That is, the entrance of the Lord Jesus into us as the full meaning and expression of every word God speaks. Then, as we speak the same words that are Jesus, as by the Jesus Secret, so our identity of self all comes together as unified thoughts all expressing Christ our life as the beloved of the Father.

“Soul-life,” then, is not an energeia of self, but the words of our self story. Our energeia is always spirit, the Holy Spirit now as our own human spirit, one spirit together, the very Fire of God. But our soul is the words of our self story, now Christ our only life.

What, then, about human knowledge, about the possession in the human mind of a multitude of facts? I did a Google search and found these two statements. “The Story of How Prometheus Gave Fire to Men” and “Prometheus was punished by the gods for giving the gift of knowledge to man.”

Do you see how this fits? The tree of life does not exclude the knowledge of anything true. But knowledge is NOT our fire, the Spirit of Christ is our fire. And knowledge is not our identity, the words that are Jesus alive in us is our identity.

Look at the knowledge of facts coming from the tree of knowledge. Three things are obvious about that knowledge. First, it is disconnected and incomplete; second, it is filled with false knowledge; and third, it is then used always to exalt self and to control others. And thus “knowledge is power” means, “if you know enough stuff you can control the people around you.”

But, you see, I know a whole lot more stuff than the average person. Because Christ is my only energeia/life/fire, however, I know the words that are Christ as my only identity. I live securely embedded inside of Father’s Heart. Then, all the things that I know, first, come together to show God’s setting for the revelation of Christ, second, are centered on Christ as truth and thus are being freed from false knowledge, and third, are things that I use only to bless and honor you and to be of benefit and service to others.

Comparing False with True
And so calling God in falsely through Door 5 is turning our response to every word God speaks from “Let it be to me” into “Let’s talk about what we think God has to mean.” Word coming through the first becomes Christ Jesus made personal as me as my only self story. Word coming through the second becomes the confusion of the human soul that “I have a life not-Christ.”

But even more than that, it is this false passage of word into the human mind that places the devil as the image of God and creates every avenue of dishonesty and pretending found in the false opening of the next door. And it is this true passage of Jesus as Word into our hearts that places Jesus in His weak humanity as our image of God and creates a life for us of being real humans as we are.

Two types of calling God-IN. Because you sin, you cannot live inside of God; God helps you only a little bit, as from afar – or – God lives inside of you and energeoes His desire through your desire; you are all that God speaks as Christ, receive Him.

Let’s say that again, slightly differently. Knowledge is the word God speaks as ideas about God under your own control by which you shape your own story of self separate from Christ as your life, that way you can use God’s words to condemn and control other people – or – Receiving Jesus Himself with all joy as every Word God speaks entering into our hearts to be all that He is and means as our only story of self, that way we can use God’s words to bless and lift up other people into the same joy of Christ.

To a false prophet of Door 5, the Bible is God’s instruction book so that you can know everything a distant God expects of you. That way, as you figure out what God says, you learn to do what is right and good and you learn to avoid what is wrong and evil.

To a true prophet of Door 5, the Bible is the words of God entering into you as the Lord Jesus Christ in Person, written now upon all the pathways of your heart. Your heart is more the Bible than the Bible ever could be.

To a false prophet of Door 5, your identity and self story must be shaped by the fact that you know that you are always falling short of God’s expectations, no matter how much you study and try. You have a life not-Christ.

To a true prophet of Door 5, your identity and self story are always shaped by the good speaking of Jesus, as you speak the same word that He is. Christ is your life; you have no other life. Christ Jesus is all there is inside of you.

To a false prophet of Door 5, when you see God, you know just how wicked you are, no matter how much you have tried to obey. You know you cannot live inside of Him, not until you “get it right.” Then you turn and use your knowledge of the Bible to condemn others, to convince them of just how much they also are fallen short of God. You acknowledge a God of cursing.

To a true prophet of Door 5, because you see God, you know that you live utterly inside of Him and He inside of you, you know that you share Hheart with Him, therefore the knowledge of Father passes out from you to lift up and bless all others with abundance and joy in all good things, including all material benefit.

The True Dispels the False
How, then, does the true calling of God into ourselves through Door 5 dispel as a meaningless vapor that false calling of a life and a self-story that is not-Christ?

This is the simplest thing of all and the foundation of our life and faith.

Specifically – “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (Mark 11:22-24).

Ask God, “Let it be to me” in response to every word that He speaks, and then, with all certain authority, believe, know, and confess that God has already given you, and you have already received, everything you have asked.

That Word is now you! “I am filled with all the fullness of God.” And all the naysayers must close their mouths for you have done nothing more than obey Jesus.

But even more than that, in your own heart and mind, by establishing yourself upon such a firm foundation of “ask and believe,” every thought that Christ is not your life must vanish as the meaningless idea that it is.

Let us Pray
“Father, I know that as I receive the Lord Jesus into my heart as every Word that You speak, so I know that I am entering into You, to live only inside of You, and that You are entering into me to share life together with me. Father, Christ who is Your Heart, lives also inside of my heart because I am confident that He does. There, my Father, I know that I share Hheart with you, that our desire is one. Father, I know that Your Love is poured out and shed abroad in my heart through our precious Holy Spirit whom You have given so freely to me. And Father, I know that, in sharing Hheart with you, our Hheart goes out in deep yearning over every single person, first inside Your Church, and second, into all creation.”

The Meaning of God-Through
What does this wide open Door 5, the Door of Life-Energeia, mean, then, for God’s entrance into His creation through and then beyond us?

Now we are opening up the true purpose of being human. For as we speak Christ regarding ourselves, Christ our only story, so we speak Him as well, in all good-speaking into the knowledge of everyone.

This is our task, to speak blessing and favor into all whom we meet, a speaking that turns their hearts to the Father and enables them to see the good-speaking of Jesus out from which they are always coming and by which they are always being sustained.

As we speak the good words of Jesus into others, so we enable them to see God through His true image, a Man stumbling under a cross He cannot carry, carrying them, carried by Father, all the way into life.

This good-speaking, then, is the source of that Energeia, that life force, that, as we Synergeo with God, sharing Hheart with Him, so Father and us together turn everything around us into pure and intrinsic goodness, that is, into the knowledge of God.
