2. What God Wants

© Daniel Yordy – 2020

God wants to be the life and joy of all inside His creation. He wants all to know Him, tangibly and experientially, in all abundance of life and favor.

But God can’t get through, for His path into being known inside His creation is the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Jesus who fills all inside of all. God can’t get through because Christians work actively to keep Him out.

Unbelief is not the absence of faith. Unbelief is an active faith turned against God and what He says. Unbelief is the active faith that places all the traits and characteristics of the serpent upon God, in their minds. And thus the God whom they imagine does share some qualities with the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ merged with qualities that oppose, a “God” of good and evil.

Christians have convinced themselves that they believe what God says, but in all contradiction, they have placed the knowledge of God far away from themselves into a someday place. They are attempting to escape the death world they work to keep dead, even while God is set on entering through them into that death world to swallow all up into life.

The active movement of Christians towards going out constantly prevents God in them from coming in.

Even the ministry of the Church outwards, evangelism, has become mostly an imposition on others to also go in the opposite direction of God, placing everything of God on the other side of death.

What God wants is a handful of people who believe that He IS revealing Himself as He is through them right now as they are. All God needs is one small leak in the dike, and He will soon be flowing through as rivers.

What God wants is a handful of people who have turned around and are now going with Him into all the world of their daily lives and circumstances as the Mercy Seat of heaven.

God wants a handful of people who have abandoned all thought of “future reward,” and have set themselves on loving one another as God among us. We ARE each other’s true reward.

Let’s set in again this particular primary point from the previous letter.

The absolute law of God that rules this issue. – And God said to them, “Subdue” (Genesis 1:28). – “You have put all things in subjection under man’s feet.” For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under man (Hebrews 2:8). – For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable (Romans 11:29).

Man is the master; humans are fully in charge of God seen and known.

“Prepare the way of the Lord” is not up to God.

When God spoke “Subdue” to humans, in those words, He placed all created things under human control. It never enters God’s mind to change that role given only to mankind.

Creation cannot and will never know God apart from humans. It never enters God’s mind to remove human control over all of heaven and earth.

It is humans, you and me, who are fully responsible for God seen and known through us. And our part is to believe into Him, to accept that God IS already. We do not cause God to be known; we accept that God’s manifestation is the simple things of daily human life.

Let’s look again at the ruling verse of the Bible and of the gospel, first in a direct rendition, and then a slightly larger paraphrase.

Because those whom He pro-knows, that is, whom He knows inside Himself as part of Himself, He also pro-determined them symmorphosed with the image of His Son, into Jesus being the firstborn among many brothers and sisters, that is, of His same kind, born of the same womb.

Because, these who are summoned out from God’s Pro-knowing, knowing God’s knowing of them, God Pro-Determined them, with all the passion of His Being, as being symmorphosed with, merged together with, sharing one form with the image of His Son as the revelation of Father, into the reality of Christ Jesus being the firstborn among and in MANY brethren, the first one of our kind, sharing the same Father and mother.

God is determined to be known, that’s what this whole thing is all about.

“The image of His Son” means Jesus as the revelation of Father. Man is God-revealed.

“Being symmorphosed with” is past tense.

You are what God looks like. God shows Himself as He wishes through you.

Your job is to accept that He is and to act with Him in the exercise of a faith that calls everything you experience as the travail of God to be known through you. Everything.

I am working right now on Romans 8:18-39 in The Jesus Secret II. This one passage by itself is the core of Paul’s gospel. Everything else is the path to understanding this wondrous reality that is already our present experience, if we wish to believe that it is.

Incredibly, Paul begins this full expression of his gospel with a view of creation not held by anyone else that I know.

For the earnest expectation, the eager anticipation of the creation awaits intently for the unveiling… Indeed, we are aware that the entire creation groans together and travails together until now.

Christians believe that the world is coming out from hell and is about to be swallowed up by hell. Paul’s gospel assumes that the world is coming out from God and is about to be swallowed up by life. (In this instance, of course, the word “world” is referencing all things real, which excludes momentary actions of sin. That is, sinful actions do not come out from God, but all angels and humans, though they commit those actions, do.)

I am now looking at writing about my years at the Blueberry Christian Community in northern British Columbia. I am enthralled and terrified of what I see there, both at the same time.

We knew an incredible level of the power and glory of God among His people on an ongoing basis AND we held an awful theology against one another that prevented us from knowing God at all. God moved as we expected, but He could not move contrary to our expectations.

Let me say that again. – God moves according to the expectation we set before Him, but God cannot move as He wishes if it is contrary to our expectation.

Human expectation RULES the revelation of God.

Let me rephrase Romans 8:18 as I now understand Paul meant it.

“I expect that the revelation of God in glory through my present ups and downs, ins and outs, all my present difficulties, is infinitely more real and wonderful than the seeming littleness of my daily circumstances.”

The word “about to,” then (glory about to be revealed) does not mean “someday.” Rather it means that the Spirit alone causes life and joy to flow into the lives of others by what the Spirit is and how the Spirit works. Father and you set the Spirit free by Yyour expectation together.

In other words, neither we nor the Father control the Spirit with our expectation; Wwe release the Spirit with Oour expectations.

Let me give a simple example to show you what God means by “about to.”

When you open your Christmas presents, your expectation is to be surprised by joy. You know you will receive something good, but half of the excitement is that you don’t know exactly what that good thing might be.

We used a gift service this last Christmas in which you put in the several names and the website tells you who gives to whom. Then, each one has a place where they can put in the things they would like for Christmas. The gift I gave, then, was not a surprise to the one who received it, on the one hand, but on the other hand, when the gift to me was not what I had placed in my list, I was a bit disappointed.

God means that expecting the favor of God to flow through the Spirit is always a joy, but controlling the Spirit is always a disappointment.

At Blueberry, we practiced the first to a greater extent than any other church I have ever experienced. At Blueberry, we practiced the second to a greater extent than any other church I have ever experienced.

My view of Joel Osteen’s ministry in my life is changing. Look at this statement. – “Human expectation (your expectation) rules the revelation of God.” Over seven years I listened to Joel Osteen preach nearly 350 times. In every one of his sermons he preached the same line, altering his presentation slightly each time. Here is the one thing Joel Osteen preached into me over and over. – “Your expectation rules the revelation of God.”

I received a voice message on my cell phone recently, from Joel Osteen Ministries, in which Joel spoke the expectation of the goodness and favor of God into me. I closed my eyes and heard Joel in the Spirit pointing me towards all the fullness of God and towards the expectation that all that God intends is coming through me into my life and circumstances and into the lives of those with whom I relate.

Joel always words things in such a way that God is free to be and do what He is through us without being limited to Joel Osteen’s own limited knowledge of God. I see even more clearly that inside of his sphere, Joel Osteen is doing more to open the door to the discovery of Paul’s gospel and to the manifestation of the sons of God than any other of my knowledge.

Through the ten years of my relating with the Blueberry Community, God removed rebellion from my heart. Through the seven years of my sitting under Joel, God removed self-cursing from my mind. Actually, I could expand the first just a bit and say it this way. God took twelve years to remove contempt of others from my heart so that I could hear “Speak what God says you are” when it came to me, and then seven years to remove self-cursing from my mind.

Self put-down is your last effort to keep God out, your final barricades against glory flowing freely through you.

Notice the huge difference between honesty and self-cursing. In writing my life story, I am being honest about myself, about my mistakes and inabilities. But you do not gain from what I share any sense of self-cursing, but rather the continuous expression of knowing God through me. In complete contrast, belittling one’s self is the opposite; it is the final hold-out of fakery.

Now, I want to take these same ideas and apply them to a creation gripped in eager anticipation for what is “about to” come through you and me, and in particular, all humans alive on this earth.

But let’s see the eagerness of creation through how God creates. First, God speaks, “Let it be.” Then God sees, “that it is good.” Then God enjoys. – Except that God’s enjoyment, being seen and known inside His creation, was struck down by Adam who cursed God by cursing himself.

Self-cursing is the wicked alternative to giving thanks in joyous honesty.

God through and together with us follows the same path. First, Wwe speak, then Wwe see, and then Wwe enjoy life and favor known by others.

When I see in you, my readers, the knowledge of the salvation of Father Himself revealed in and through you, which you have received through my little bit, I am overwhelmed with the incredible value of my reward – which is you in all joy, completely free of me.

There is a belief in the world and in the church concerning humans in their souls, their source out from which they come. That belief is that humans are coming out from something twisted and dark, that if you push back all the masks, you will find a lie deep inside.

This belief is sheer nonsense.

All created beings, including all humans, are coming out from the good-speaking of Jesus and are carried and sustained by that good-speaking in every step. And the word, pheron, means all three of those things – to come out from, to be carried by, and to be sustained by.

Pheron-ing ALL by the Word of His power.

Nothing else is or can be real.

Creation WANTS God’s path through you.

Here is God’s path. – Christ lives in your heart through faith. – Out of the heart the mouth speaks. – The word is in your mouth. – The tongue is the rudder of your ship. – Those who exist according to Spirit think out of the Spirit. …Life and peace are the thought of the Spirit. – My judgment (My seeing) is true because the Father is with Me. – You are my glory and my joy.

“All things good” begins with the heart, then passes to the mouth, connected directly to the heart. The words spoken, then, direct the mind down one path or the other. And out from the thinking of the mind, the eyes see. The seeing of the eyes, then, is all things good, the utter enjoyment of life and peace, with others set into joy as our reward.

God is very clear about what He wants. – Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me (Hebrews 10:5).

God wants a spiritual/physical body so that He can enter heaven/earth and be seen and known by all. And God seen and known takes on one form – small groups of believers in Jesus loving one another with pure hearts fervently.

You can tell a manifest son of God, he or she enjoys all other humans as they really are.
At Blueberry, we believed that Christ lives in our hearts through faith AND we believed that our hearts were deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. We were proof that James was “wrong.” James claimed that a spring of water cannot send forth pure water and polluted water at the same time, that the words flowing out cannot be both blessing and cursing.

Yet that is exactly how we attempted to live – seeing Christ and not-Christ in one another in an incompatible and impossible relationship. Psychologists have a word for such thinking – insanity, as James already made clear.

We expected God among us and God moved in power and glory. Yet when we looked into one another, we expected to find rot at the core, that is, unless the person we were looking at was an elder. And, to my great sorrow, this is where I will take you through my Blueberry experience. This is how it always ends up – Christ in the ministry versus not-Christ in the laity, the doctrine of the Nicolaitans.

But even there we could not know and enjoy one another because we still defined God by the devil, we defined God as One who thinks more highly of Himself than of anyone else and ourselves as always just short of His rigid expectations.

And all of that thinking in Christians and non-Christians alike, is 100% made-up nonsense. It exists only because humans and Christians hate God as He is; they are unthankful, that is, they curse themselves.

All who say, “I don’t agree with what Joel Osteen teaches,” when you boil down what they mean to its simplest expression, it is this. “God wants Christians to think and speak cursing against themselves. God wants Christians to hate the way God made them.

Look at all humans on this earth. Here is how God sees them, a two-step seeing. First God sees their present expression as EAGER ANTICIPATION, a groaning for life and joy. And second, God sees all things new, all things good, all things coming out from His Pro-Knowing.

God’s direct path into enjoying His creation as they enjoy Him is through our seeing as God sees. And we see what God sees by speaking what God speaks. – Calling those things that do not appear as they already ARE.

When I look at you, I see someone who is found inside of Father as an infinite series of His wondrous thoughts, someone who appears, now, in existence through the good-speaking of Jesus every moment. I see a unique, individual, and fantastic expression of my Father.

And I see that you are always coming out from the same wondrous source from which I also come every moment, sharing the same womb.

Let’s look next at the ruling verse in the Bible over the action of God with us, paraphrased and expanded just a bit.

We know moreover that those who are actively loving God are synergeoing together with God to turn with purpose all—all things, all entities, all circumstances, all moments—into pure and intrinsic goodness, that is, into the knowledge of God. These are those who are continuously being called as and by the precise details of God’s Pro-Thesis, His set-forth purpose from the beginning, the Blueprint of His House, the Lord Jesus.

A body is for action, heavenly/earthly action – and part of our redemption is that we see heaven and earth as they really are, utterly married together.

You will never reveal God, that is, love one another, until you live turned around inside the Holiest, knowing every aspect of your life as God’s Mercy Seat towards others.

Let me explain again “turned around.” To turn around is an absolute statement in two directions simultaneously.

It means first that you abhor as despicable evil all thought of you connecting with God, or becoming a better person, or “going to” glory, or the real-deal someday. These thoughts are Satanic; they are the worship of self.

And it means second that you, in every particle of your life, your thoughts and words, your ways of thinking and seeing and doing, your ups and downs, your ins and outs are GOD utterly WITH YOU, that God IS IS IS IS IS IS IS sharing all things with you, in travail with you in ALL THAT YOU ARE, not for you, but FOR OTHERS.

This is the worship of God.

Every single thing you and Father go through together is for the purpose of all creation, one at a time, stepping into the glorious liberty you share with Father.

And this, in a nutshell, is what God wants.

Two things prevent any human, Christian or not, from stepping into that glorious liberty and becoming the revelation of Father, that is, loving one another, first, self-put down and second, its evil twin – pretending dishonesty, otherwise known as self-righteousness.

And yes, a “Christian life” lived not turned around is truly an evil way of living.

This is why Paul commanded all Christians never to say, “Let’s go to heaven to see Jesus.” Or as John stated – such thinking is the spirit of anti-Christ.

Now, the Church is God’s body, yes, His form as He appears to all inside of heaven/earth. But for us, the Church as God intends, our own local assembly of believers in Jesus sharing fully together this same living turned around, God’s highway into being seen and known by all, that is, loving one another, comes only out from this same place, a small handful of people, including you and me, living turned around and seeing with God all things good.

The true expression of Church as we and Father both desire, is simply the fruit of the Spirit released by Uus here upon the Mercy Seat of God.

It is the surprising gift of joy coming out from Oour expectation.

Love one another IS God seen and known. God seen and known IS love one another.

Just before I wrote the first chapters of Symmorphy V: Life, I read a story set across three books about a caller who called those things that were not seen into being seen and known by all. In this story was a great being who showed herself and spoke through many little ones moving together as one.

That picture made the reality of God, showing Himself through many together as one, more real than I had known before, and I drew from it to describe what each local Church really is.

I just purchased those books for myself and started reading them again with great excitement. As Jesus said, sometimes the children of this world can see more clearly than the children of the kingdom.

I want what God wants, for I am fulfilled only as God is fulfilled. His joy is my joy, for we share joy together.

Here is what I am attempting to say. My local Church, the Community of my heart, will gather together with me on a rural property according to my continual expectation. Nonetheless, the how of that gathering together belongs only to the Spirit, that Wwe, Father and I together, might be surprised by joy.

And there, inside that gathering, we together will see every interaction of our lives together as Father with us, revealing Himself as He is. And out from such a wondrous Salvation, we will astonish ourselves with just how much we love one another, God among us.

The simple result then will be that all creation will see and know God as life and liberty, that is, the soon-coming Apocalypse, the most exciting moment in all the history of the world.
