27. Our Inheritance

Please read Give Me a Place to Stand.

Our inheritance is first all of God, second one another, and third all things. We are speaking of our own personal possession forever.

The discovery of those things that belong to us will never end.

Yet our inheritance is not vague or indefinite. We are speaking of the real and tangible possession of everything in God and in the universe as well as our enjoyment of one another forever. Our inheritance is wonderfully specific and eminently practical.

27.1 The Name of Father asserts that Father's name written upon our foreheads is the central element as well as most of our inheritance. What on earth could it mean to have Father's name, Father's signature scrawled boldly upon us?

27.2 The New Name of Christ then places our personal knowing of Jesus Sent, Jesus as He IS, as the second significant part of our inheritance. What on earth does it mean to have Jesus' new name written upon us?

27.3 All Things positions each of us into a practical expression of our inheritance of heaven/earth, specifically, our taking on full responsibility for a portion of God's creation.

27.4 The Name of the New Jerusalem then presents what is, in some ways, the most precious element in our inheritance - knowing one another as members of each other. We belong together.
