3. A Covenant with God

Our relationship with God is through a Covenant, a specific contract of agreement in which two individuals, you and God, bind yourselves to one another to walk together as one.

Because Christians have misdefined God as one who "knows good and evil," the general understanding of our Covenant with God is ruled by that split-apart view of all things. More than that, the "Old Covenant," that is, the tree of knowledge writ large, seems to reinforce the definition of a death universe and a being dead salvation.

In contrast, our Covenant with God is a Living Covenant, a marriage union of walking together in love. Our Covenant with God is a Symmorphic Covenant, two walking together as one, Person inside of person inside of Person.

Lesson 3.1 A Legal Covenant establishes the basis of our Covenant with God to be God's Word strengthened by His oath. And that this Covenant is Christ written upon our hearts.

Lesson 3.2 Marriage and Blood presents those elements of the Covenant best expressed by a marriage between husband and wife.

Lesson 3.3 Blood and Marriage presents those elements of the Covenant best expressed by a blood covenant formed between two me, and specifically the Blood Covenant God cut with Abraham.

Lesson 3.4 A Symmorphic Covenant then brings the terms of the Covenant into this immediate and personal relationship we enjoy with a Jesus inside of us and we inside of Him.
