11. Life

In this contract of mutual exchange into which we have entered with God, God receives from us a Body, that He might be seen and known by His creation. And in return God gives us His life by which we live.
Our part in the exchange is LIFE.

What is life? The concept of "life" is very large on the one hand and hard to define on the other. We use the term and, although we have an idea of what we mean, we find it hard to reduce the meaning into a specific definition.

Life means many things.

Lesson 11.1 Defining Life attempts to lay out at least a part of what life, the very life of God given to us, now our life as well, might actually mean. Yet we are especially concerned with what life means inside the context of the Holy of Holies, the fullness of God and salvation.

Lesson 11.2 Connecting Life places Jesus as the connection between Father and us, not as a legal bond, as we studied earlier, but now also as a living and dynamic connection that is constant and absolute.

Lesson 11.3 Living Life then investigates how this life flows out from us to be life to one another and to all. We are the face, the revelation of, Jesus Christ.
