9. Pro-Knowing

The translators of the Bible want to use the word "foreknowledge" as their translation of proginosko. To most "foreknowledge" means that "God knows everything that will happen long before it happens." This definition makes God to be a creature of time and it makes Knowing to be an external and spurious "knowing about."

Pro-Knowing, then, places God as all-here-now, and the knowing of God as being His essential nature, the essence of His being. Thus proginosko must mean that which comes every moment out from God's essential knowing.

Then we discover that we exist and have always existed, every moment of our lives and every particle of our beings, inside of the Pro-Knowing of God, inside His thoughts, inside His Heart.

Lesson 9.1 Defining Pro-Ginosko expands on the meaning we must have regarding this critical word in the most important verse in the Bible, a word that is the very essence of God. The lesson also sets forth our entrance into the knowledge of God as a series of passages or signatures of the Covenant.

Lesson 9.2 The Father's Name explores what God might mean by His most incredible proposal of writing His name, His signature, upon our foreheads. A "name" represents everything one knows about a person. —God's name upon us.

Lesson 9.3 The father's Heart brings into our view David's incredible statement concerning the uncountable number of thoughts God has regarding each one of us. Those thoughts are who we are, and we are free to live in all of God's thoughts concerning us, yet we also know that those thoughts unfold in and as us over the seasons of forever.
