2. Paul's Gospel

Paul made it clear that his version of "the gospel" rules. But what is Paul's gospel?

One problem is that Paul never actually specified what his "gospel" really is. More than that, if we study Paul's words closely, it seems that he contradicts himself in pretty significant ways.

Another problem is that an entire "gospel" has developed through the centuries that does not regard Paul's claim that his gospel must rule. More than that,  many incredible things Paul said have little or no place in what many assume to be his gospel.

So what is Paul's gospel?

We have explored Paul's gospel in prior Symmorphy texts. Here, we will come at it from a slightly different perspective.

Lesson 2.1 The Christian Dilemma sets forth the actuality that we do not really have a clear rendition of what Paul meant by "my gospel."

Lesson 2.2 Placing Paul's Jesus posits that we cannot arrive at Paul's gospel without first knowing Jesus as Paul knew and understood Him. More than that, we must know where to place Paul's Jesus before we can hope to see the structure and layout of Paul's gospel.

Lesson 2.3 The Structure of Paul's Gospel positions the elements of Paul's gospel in terms of entrance, means, and goal. The entrance is "by grace through faith," the means is symmorphy with Jesus, that is, You in Me and I in you," and the goal is NOT "heaven" but Church.

Lesson 2.4 Paul's Salvation then supports this claim that God's end plan is not being dead in heaven, but being the Body of God in this heaven/earth realm in which we live, that is, the Church.
