26. Full Covenant Sons
John said that as we see Jesus as He really is, we are just like Him.What does it mean to be a full Covenant son of God in the completed expression of God's Body? What are we as we are just like Jesus?
We have come to know Jesus in a completely different way than general Christianity knows Him. We know Him as a life-giving Spirit Sent into us as Himself and to be ourselves.
26.1 The Great Story sets forth God's purpose for Jesus now become us. God intends to demonstrate that His Word is faithful and true, bringing forth in and through us all that God means.
26.2 Our Birth delineates what we actually are as sons of God in our second birth. God is literally our Father, for we come entirely out from Him, birthed in and through the Church, our mother.
26.3 Our Nature gives a brief depiction of what it means for us to be like Jesus, to walk as He walks. We are humans, Christ as us, forever weak, and forever filled with all the fullness of God.
26.4 Placing Our Inheritance then shows how the vast extent of our inheritance, all of God and all of creation, fits into our existence as full Covenant sons of God.
