26.1 The Great Story

© 2017 Christ Revealed Bible Institute

The Covenant is the MEANS of God by which He brings forth His chosen OPPORTUNITY to accomplish His MOTIVE from the beginning.

This session is about what we ARE in the resurrection, our becoming, our nature, and our experience as fully affirmed, fully manifest sons of God. Only the Covenant can teach us of our becoming reality. Then, as we see just what we are, as we speak just what we are, so we become.

But God has set this Covenant, not into reasoning, though the Logos is God’s Pro-Thesis from the beginning, but rather, God has set His Covenant into Story, for God is very Personal.

God Is Love. And thus we can place Covenant into its place in Story only by starting at the beginning. God is Love –> God is Heart. Do you see the overwhelming agony and travail that IS the very Being of the Almighty? Love must Love a Beloved; yet this Love is God and God cannot be known.

And so we begin, not with defined motive, but with Desire. God DESIRES to be known by and through His Beloved. This realization began to arise in me around the age of 30, and thus this great MYSTERY has been my study for over 30 years.

The Motive of the Mystery. Now, God becoming known has a name – Jesus. And thus the original all-consuming Desire of God, as it comes out into the experience of His Beloved, becomes something much more definite in the unfolding of Story. It becomes the Motive of the Mystery.

Motive is defined by Desire, but it is much more specific to human reality. Yet there can be no motive of mystery without an opponent, no story without an enemy, an anti-speaker attempting to counteract the becoming known of God at every point. For God’s mystery to unfold in our lives, there must be an opposing voice.

Proving Jesus. God did not intend the serpent’s words, though He was fully aware of them, that they would be spoken. God cannot be known, yes, but God-not-known also has a name – Darkness. Let there be Light! Did God indeed say?

And thus, regardless of how we might talk about or discuss anything at all, all things in the experience of creation are RULED by the Great Story of God. Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words (Jesus), and may overcome when You are judged” (Romans 3:4). God’s MOTIVE, then, is to prove Jesus faithful and true.

No Clearer Picture. God’s motive is to demonstrate against all accusation that the Words that He speaks, the Lord Jesus Christ, are fulfilled faithful and true in all fullness in and through His Beloved born of weakness. And there is no clearer picture inside the Great Story of God of this moment of experience than Revelation 12:1-5.

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. …And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to shepherd all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was seized into God and into His throne.

God in Travail. Now, I said, “clearer picture,” yet you might say, “Looks pretty murky to me.”

We cannot dissect God as if He is a Thing. God is Love means a God in Travail to be KNOWN. And God-Known must be Story, and the most vivid reality of God in the earth is found in a Woman, the Church, clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ, in travail to bring forth from her very belly Jesus PROVEN faithful and true.

For You have magnified Your word above all Your name (Psalm 138:2). A few years ago I heard my Father whisper in my heart, “Because you have honored My Word, I will honor you.”

I Scream in Travail. And so I see these words written upon the pages of my Bible. Christ lives in your heart through faith – that you, being rooted and grounded in love – might be filled with all the fulness of God. And then I see these words as well – Love one another as I have loved you.

And out from taking God seriously by His WORD, I scream in travail to BRING FORTH – to see Jesus, the Speaking of God, proven faithful and true IN MY LIFE, right here on this earth, right now in this age. God manifest in my flesh.

I contend with nothing except the Forehead of the Almighty – God, You will DO what You SAY in ME!”

Glory. Jesus proving Himself faithful and true in and through me has other names in the Bible as well – Covenant – Glory. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world (John 17:24).

Let’s define GLORY again, the reason why God LOVES Jesus. Glory is proving, through full and utter weakness, that God speaks the truth. Here is another picture of that same Glory – and the woman brought forth a manchild. For us to behold Jesus’ glory is to see Him prove through you and me that every Word God speaks is faithful and true.

Defining Covenant. To behold Jesus’ glory is to see and to be the Covenant. Let me define Covenant in this context.

Covenant is the all-encompassing agreement between God and me to ACT together in order to bring forth into completion all of Oour Desire. All God’s Desire is expressed through Jesus proven faithful and true. All my desire is expressed through Jesus proven faithful and true. God and I are in full Agreement by Covenant, and thus, in all things we ACT together as One. Our Action together is our demonstration together, that when God speaks, the Lord Jesus, God does what He IS.

Faithful and True. It is through this means ALONE that the original desire of God becomes known, that His very Heart might be split wide open, that all creation might see and know this intensity of Love, yet not as outward Fire, but as people, as a family of people walking together, loving one another with a pure heart fervently, filled with all the fullness of God.

These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Source of the creation of God. – To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. – And He… is called Faithful and True. – Then he said to me, “These WORDS are faithful and true.” (Revelation 3:14 & 21, 19:11 & 22:6).

Love One Another. The testimony of all Christians has been, “Let’s all die and go to heaven because God WILL NOT DO what He says here in our lives upon this earth.”

What is the travail of God? Let me put before you just three words: Love one another. But let’s bring all this into our present seeing, as we agreed in the last lesson. We put on incorruptibility. We put on immortality. We put on the Lord Jesus Christ.

I, Daniel Yordy, in full AGREEMENT with my Father that Jesus, these Words God speaks, is True, ACT together with Father TO LOVE YOU in just the same way Jesus loves me.

I Am Called. And I do so with NO REGARD for my human inability, or what I might “see” outwardly, or for any human judgment. The pain of my “not wanting to love you” is the travail of God inside a universe that does not and cannot know Him. I call it to be so because I will not live anywhere else but inside of Covenant. That Covenant, to me, begins with three lines.

I am CALLED by God’s Pro-Thesis, out from His Pro-Knowing and through His Pro-Determination as Symmorphosed utterly together with the Lord Jesus, every Word God speaks, as the revelation of the knowledge of God to all creation. – I am just like Jesus for I see Him as He is – I know that Jesus is IN my Father and I IN Jesus and Jesus, every Word God speaks, INSIDE all that is me.

The Greatest Crime. You see, we are not contending “against” God, but together with Him, that out of the belly of our weakness would come all that God speaks fulfilled as all that God intends. Does God lie? –><– Or is Love One Another fulfilled in all fullness in these bodies of mortal flesh?

Yet this is the mystery – for the answer to these two opposing questions is the greatest CRIME ever to be committed in the experience of Adam’s children on this earth. God manifest in our flesh. For by those words now become our only reality, the accuser and his accusation are cast down, and the false image of God, “heaven as God,” is shattered.

Full Covenant Sons. The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein (Psalm 24:1). This earth, bathed by heaven, is our home. We are Father’s Home. Father revealed through us as humans is Oour Home, right here upon this earth.

And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me (John 17:22-23).

It’s when we place every Word into its place inside the Covenant that all things are made known. We ARE Full Covenant Sons.
