11.2 Connecting Life

Life is organic energy – as it is expressed in the earth. Life is spirit energy – as it is expressed in the heavenlies. Life is divine Energeia – as it is expressed in God.
For us as born again humans, we possess all three levels of life. That is, those humans who are not born again do possess spirit energy as well as organic energy. The two are intrinsically related, spirit and body. Only death severs them. Yet we cannot say that the unregenerate do not have divine energeia working in them, for they live and move and have their beings only inside of God. Really, it becomes a question of knowing. It’s not what is; it’s knowing what is.
Real Life. At its root level, death is not knowing what is. Then, rebellion is refusing to know what is and instead choosing to “know” what ain’t so. Thus real life for us consists of knowing two things in all ways and in every direction – I AM that I AM – and – I am Jesus; that is, Father and Jesus Sent.
And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life… (1 John 5:11-12). – No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6b). I am the Connector, no one connects with Father’s LIFE except through Me as the connecting Bond.The DNA Model. You can see how the spiral arms in DNA, the model or code of organic life, match the spiral binary bands of electric current that are the Birkeland currents powering the galaxies. In our case, it is most appropriate for us to use this model to show Jesus as our connection with the Father.
Father God IS the male side of our entire construction and the human is the female side. We are made of the complete merging of God and us through Christ. Christ, then, is the crossbars.
Knowing Jesus Sent. The key for us for winning LIFE for ourselves in this Covenant with God is to know Jesus Sent. God is beyond us; Jesus is one of us, the firstborn of our same kind. We can know Him, even though He remains in the form of a Personal-in-us life-giving Spirit.
Let’s establish again the most important reality coming to us through this model of DNA before continuing on. As the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself (John 5:26). Look at the crossbar in the left part of the model. Whatever the Son is IN the Father, He is then that same thing IN us, yet not in a static way, but as divine Energeia.
Connecting Every Point. Consider any and every point in your humanity. Consider every point or particle of your spirit. Consider every point or expression or memory of your soul. Consider every point or particle of your body. ALL the fullness of God Almighty is found filling every one of those points with ALL that Father IS.
Yet at every point and in every way, the Lord Jesus Christ, in the form of a life-giving Spirit, is connecting that point that is you together with ALL the fullness of Father found there. Thus, at every point or particle that we are, we hear one large thing, “I AM,” and we know what those words mean because we also hear, “I am Jesus.” And we know nothing else.
Homologia. But hearing is not enough – we also must speak the same word, homologia, sharing together the same word. It is as we speak the same word that is Jesus, we add our faith to this connection, allowing Jesus, then, to be all that we are.
Consider the one who says, “All that God says, I will do.” Do you see the blatant rejection of God and the willful and rebellious establishment of self? Such a one, having separated themselves from God in their imagination only, now live separate from any possibility of knowing God, that is, in death. Consider the one who says, “Christ is all that I am.” This one now lives only inside of Jesus inside the Father.
From the Dead. “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:8-9). Confess – homologia, speak the same word that Jesus speaks.
But look at the bold defiance of God, the in-your-face contention of the Almighty. God plays no games; He is in this thing to prove Jesus faithful and true against all that is false. It isn’t just life that God wants us to speak regarding Jesus, but life FROM THE DEAD. Life arising against all that is death.
In Our Mortal Flesh. And so look at where God places this Energeia that is Christ Jesus connecting us in all ways with Father at every point. The exceeding greatness of His power penetrating with purpose into us who believe, down to the finest details of the energeia of the dominion of His ability to subdue which He energeoed in Christ when He raised Him out from the dead (Ephesians 1:19-20 paraphrased from the Greek).
And then – But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you (Romans 8:11). And again – that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh (2 Corinthians 4:11b).
Defiance. We see that this connecting LIFE that is Jesus is Life in full-frontal defiance of death. God isn’t just interested in giving us Life in this Covenant, but Life in triumph against death. And God isn’t just interested in obtaining for Himself a Body in this Covenant, but a Body risen out from the dead, having proven all that Christ is while still mortal.
This defiance that is inside the Father, Jesus becomes, and then Jesus, coming into us as the Energeia, the working of God, becomes that same defiance against death inside of and as us, otherwise known as CONFIDENCE!!! Regardless of each point of connection, it is LIFE against death.
FULL of God. Jesus connects us with Father by every Word that He is.
Picture the biggest holiday meal you can imagine. Picture yourself having thrown off all restraint, having gorged yourself on all this delicious food beyond all prior engorgement. You are FULL. But your sense of bursting at the seams in that moment, the lethargical movement, the inability to focus your eyes, toooo MUCH! – in NO WAY compares with how FULL we are all through our being with every Word that is Jesus connecting us with all that is Father at every point and particle of our human existence.
KNOW that I am IN the Father and you IN Me and I IN you.
Being Fire. Here is what we have done. We have recklessly pushed our way into the Holiest place in the universe and are demanding of God that the Pillar of Fire that He is BECOMES all our Energeia. We are not really saying, “I want to live.” What we are really saying is, “I want to BE the Fire that You ARE.”
And God cannot ever possess a Body for Himself unless His Fire and our fire are one Ffire. It is God who energeoes in you (Philippians 2:13). It is God who burns as the Pillar of Fire INSIDE of you, as all the Life you are, both to choose as one together and to live His pleasure together.
Antagonism Against. Life is to KNOW. Jesus causes us to know.
Wow. I said that the change taking place in me is a transformation of my seeing. God in me is not passive in this world; God in me means a seething hostile defiance against death. Life is about to eat death for supper, metabolizing into itself all things caught in the grip of death and throwing disembodied death into oblivion. I have never felt God’s antagonism against death the way I feel it now. Yet how could LIFE be otherwise?
The energeia of the dominion of His ability to subdue which He energeoed in Christ when He raised Him from the dead.
The Proving. Symmorphosed with His glorious body, according to the energeia by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself (Philippians 3:21). – …but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life (2 Corinthians 5:4b).
This is the contention, the proving, the demonstration of that connecting LIFE that is Jesus inside of us, connecting us with Father at every point and by every Word. I have never realized just how viscerally important this overthrow of death by LIFE is to God, the deepest contention of His gut. And indeed, I am now seeing a key verse as I never have before; I am seeing it turned around.
Boldness as Judgment. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in (as) the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this present (1 John 4:17).
I have always before read this verse from the point of view of entering into God. Suddenly, I see it entirely from the other direction. The BOLDNESS is not towards God; the BOLDNESS is God in us towards all those caught in the grip and terror of death.
Let’s define death at its most basic level – death is not knowing God. Let’s define God-known at its most basic level – a Body prepared for Him.
Swallowed by Life. Love perfected among us results in our BOLDNESS in the day of judgment as we bring an end to God-not-being-known. Jesus connecting us at all points and in every way with Father in Person by every Word that Jesus is = LIFE = Love perfected among us = the elimination of God-not-being-known.
And God-KNOWN means one thing only. God now has a Body.
Oh the places that we go when we walk WITH Father! We IN Jesus and Jesus IN us means LIFE means Love perfected among us means God now has a Body. And death is swallowed up by LIFE. Death is no more.
Confidence. Let me define “Jesus Sent.” – “I am so full of Christ that I don’t even have wiggle room to burp!”
Do you see how the seventh most important verse in the Bible, the jeopardy verse, the verse upon which all of God’s desire hangs by a thread, has grown in importance? We are part of Christ IF we are confident that we are part of Christ (Hebrews 3:14 modified). Boldness is our speech as we enter into the Holiest, CONFIDENCE is our speech and the only thought of our minds as we sit upon the Mercy Seat. Any thought that Jesus is “not” connecting us with Father-FIRE by EVERY Word Jesus is cannot come near us.
One with Jesus. In the day of judgment, all of our paressia, all of our bold statements of life and power are directed outward towards all those sitting so needlessly under the lies of death. Homologia, symmorphy of speech, is the only story we know, the only thoughts we think, Jesus and us utterly together as one in all the thoughts of our mind, in all the words of our mouth. Jesus connecting us with Father utterly together as one in all ways.
You see, here is our problem. The life we want, the life we have traipsed into this Most Holy Place to grab for ourselves, is, in fact, FIRE, a Personal FIRE that is filled with all the passion of the universe.
Inside the Fire. May I suggest that you read Daniel 3:19-27. We cannot “approach” this Fire, for all who approach it will be burned by it. Rather, we must turn around, even as we hit the flames, as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did. “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” – Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire.
The only place for us inside the Holiest, inside the Fire, is to be seated upon the Mercy Seat, facing out, sharing Heart with God, seeing all things through eyes of fire.
What Fire Looks Like. And what does this terrifying FIRE look like as we are the Body of Fire? Here is what God looks like. Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them… And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them (Mark 10:13 & 16).
He that has seen Me has seen the Fire. – He that has seen Daniel Yordy has seen the Fire.
We are the Body of Christ, the Body of God. Love has been perfected AMONG us – Love one another with a pure heart fervently.
Fire – Energeia – LIFE!
