1.1 The Purpose of this Course

© 2016 Christ Revealed Bible Institute

We begin with this premise – that another Person has taken up residence inside of each one of us who believe in Jesus and that this Person is God Almighty. This singular fact is the inescapable conclusion of the gospel. Then we see that there are specific connections between this other Person – a Consuming Fire, the Creator of everything – and our persons, connections God refers to as “Covenant.”

The purpose of this course, Symmorphy IV: Covenant, then, is to seek out, to understand, and to live in the depths, the meaning, and the extent of the Covenant by which the Father is bound to us and we to the Father as one person together – as Jesus claimed in John 17 – that they may be one in Us.

The Heart
Our relationship with the Father begins in the heart – Christ dwells in your hearts through faith (Ephesians 3:17). The shaping of the human heart to contain and to reveal the Heart of the Father is the most important process in creation. Thus, our purpose includes establishing out from Bible verses the awesome wonder and overwhelming glory of sharing heart with Father God.

Having concluded our investigation of the Kingdom of God, God flowing out from us to set all creation free, we must turn and look again at this deepest of internal bonds, this CONNECTION by which we are joined utterly together with our Father and He with us, so that the things He has spoken He might fulfill on this earth through us.

God’s Intentions
Dear Learner, please understand, God Almighty has some very strong feelings and intentions towards you. The biggest thing is that He is determined to live inside of you, not as a “parasite,” nor as “the boss,” but as an integral part of your own person, walking together with you as one.

But bigger than that, even, is that this unimaginable Person is also determined to place His Heart inside of your heart, to share Hheart with you. Through this course, as you read the lessons and do the assignments, the Father Himself wants to show you how His relationship with you in all things actually works. Father desires above all to touch others through you.

Benefits for the Learner
Out from the Father’s desire, then, you as a learner will know this God who lives in you as never before as you progress through the lessons of this course. You and God will work together to turn everything in your life and in the lives of those whom you love into goodness. You will discover your true self already written and complete inside the very Heart of God. You will match God’s determination with your own, heart with Heart, eye with Eye. You will discover all the wealth that is God now bound to you as your very own possession. You will see God making full use of you as His own temple.

The Heart of the Almighty
You will learn the depths and the breadth of how you share the same form with the Lord Jesus Christ, He with you and you with Him. People will look at you and they will see God, that is, they will see Oone who is beneath of them, lifting them up into life.

But most of all you will learn the Heart of this One who tells you to call Him, “Father,” this One who claims that He fills you with all that He is, this One who has bound Himself in a Symmorphic Covenant as one Pperson with you. You will bear in your chest the very Heart of the Almighty. And you will live the rest of your days now and forever inside the knowledge of Father and you utterly together as Oone.

A Warning Note
This course, Symmorphy IV: Covenant, should not be taken unless the learner has completed Symmorphy I: Purpose, Symmorphy II: Essence, and Symmorphy III: Kingdom. Elements in this course on Covenant will assume familiarity with the truths developed in the prior three courses.

More than that, things closest to the very Heart of God will be unveiled to us in this course, truths never before given to humans on this planet.  These wondrous things belong to a very private and holy God and are not meant for anyone in the business of playing games (dishonesty) with the Heart of God or of abusing other people. To continue is to join yourself together with everlasting Fire; if that is not your desire, then this is not the path for you.

Defining Covenant
To define “Covenant” we begin with “contract.” A contract is a legal and binding agreement between two parties to work together towards the achievement of some goal. People and companies enter into contracts with one another because by themselves they do not have all they need to achieve their goals, but by bringing together the attributes of both, the goals of both can be accomplished. A contract, then, stipulates all the provisions and conditions of that agreement. But a contract is also limited; nothing is offered or required beyond the explicit statements of the contract. The primary manner in which a covenant differs from a contract is that a covenant includes all and without limit.

Types of Covenant
Marriage of husband and wife is the first form of covenant. Marriage is two individuals committing all that they are to each other to share life together, and to raise up children. A blood covenant is the second form of covenant, typically between two men, an agreement for life and beyond, that each one possesses fully all that belongs to the other and that each will give his life, even, for the sake of the other. Both of those forms of covenant will inform us regarding this Covenant which we are studying in this course.

But our Covenant with God goes far beyond marriage union or even blood covenant. Our union with Father is a Symmorphic Covenant.

A Symmorphic Covenant
A Symmorphic Covenant is Person inside of person. In a specific sense, our Covenant is a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ, connecting us as named individual persons, by every Word that He speaks, to the Person of Father.

Although Covenant is Jesus and thus remains Personal, yet our Symmorphic Covenant with God more specifically refers to Christ as a Living Spirit Word. Words are spoken; words can be written down. Words are alive; words shape and sustain all things. The written words themselves, however, are not the Covenant, but from those words we can know all the conditions and realities, all the un-limitations and experience of our Symmorphic Covenant with God.

A Personal Covenant
All that is Covenant is personal. Companies, groups, etc., can enter into contracts with each other, but never covenants. Thus, for us to know Father, a personal PERSON living inside of our personal persons, we must know the personal Person who connects us as one person together with Father. That is, we must know Jesus Sent; Jesus Sent is the Covenant.

The purpose of this course, Symmorphy IV: Covenant, is to explore, in a deeper and more specific way, all that is Jesus Sent, including the many essential words that are Jesus by which we are part of Father and Father is part of us. Not just “to explore,” but rather, to live every moment of our lives from here on out IN full Symmorphic Covenant with God.

Problems and Issues
The Church of Jesus Christ has not believed the things God says at the heart of the gospel. Most Christians, down through the centuries, have compensated for their acknowledged unbelief by positioning the fulfillment of all that God speaks to take place only after death. This mental trickery (dishonesty) allows them to “believe” while remaining entirely in unbelief. Other Christians, while acknowledging the reality of these most wondrous claims of God regarding inhabiting us with all that He is, then place the barrier of the flesh between themselves and God, asserting that only when they, by solitary human effort, have successfully “obeyed” God, then, out from their own triumphant flesh, all that God speaks will become true.

We Remain Ignorant
For these reasons, we find that the words of the Covenant in the New Testament are almost unknown by our fellow Christians. And when we fill our minds and hearts with those words, they think we are being “un-Biblical.”

At the same time, we ourselves are woefully inadequate. We see the vision of the Kingdom of God, but we are incapable of fulfilling that vision. We stumble at every step. We know our Father, yes, but we hardly know Him. We know Jesus Sent into us, now the only life we are, yes, but we hardly know Him or how He connects us with Father. We remain ignorant and blind to our true reality.

Only One Way Out
If you have acknowledged the vision of a fully successful Christian Church walking this earth, millions of Spirit-filled believers in Jesus living out from this Covenant in fullness more than we ourselves know it now, then you know how ridiculously impossible such a vision appears to be. And even if they were to listen to us, how can we teach them what we ourselves do not know? We have no idea just how crippled we are because we do not KNOW the Covenant.

There is only one hope, only one way out of this Adamic ruin of heaven and earth, including for our dead brethren in heaven only – and that one way is for you and I to know Covenant, that is, Jesus Sent.

How This Course Addresses the “Problem”
Our problem is heart ignorance; our answer is Jesus. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly of heart (Matthew 11:29).

We are inside this course for one reason only, the Zeal of the Lord of Hosts, the Pro-Determination of God. It is Jesus who connects Himself to us first, and then turns and connects us utterly together with Father. Our part is to believe that He is. But we cannot believe what we do not know, and thus, with all the enthusiasm humans are capable of, we embark on this most wondrous journey together.

Our Journey Now
You see, this journey for us is a journey with God. And thus we must begin in the Holiest of All. The Spirit of God presented the journey to us first as a journey into the Holiest. But now that we live in the Holiest, having turned around, having acknowledged that our own hearts are now the Mercy Seat of God, we are on a different journey. Our journey now is with Father out from the Holiest, into the Holy Place and through the outer court into all the camp of Israel. And at every point along the way, we will find the verses of the Covenant all through the New Testament speaking to us of things we have never heard or considered before. We will see glory.

Restatement of Purpose
When we were born again, though we did not know it, by accepting Jesus, we also agreed to enter a Covenant with God. Yet through our time in the womb of the Church, we have not known that Covenant. Now we are facing the birthing, being thrust out into all the reality of the New Creation now appearing through us. Nothing is more important for us now than to know the Covenant.

The purpose of this course is to investigate to the extent God gives us to know this Jesus Sent into us, this One who binds us together with Father as one, sharing all things together with Almighty God. “You in Me and I in them.”

A Call to Action
Read this book; take this course. Spend careful time on each lesson; review and reflect regularly; tackle and complete each assignment. Engage directly with God in Person inside of you. As you do, the Lord Jesus will reveal Himself to you as the One who fills your heart with all of His glory.

This course, Symmorphy IV: Covenant, as you spend time in it, will cause you to know the Father, His Person inside of your person, just being Himself towards all others. And it will do so by showing you Jesus alive and real living in your heart, now your very and only life.
