Bridge II

This second Bridge serves as a connection between these first introductory sessions and the primary part of this course, and that is joining the ten patterns of home together with the ten most important verses as a means of understanding and describing life together in Christian Community as the Church of Christ.

These short lessons are not part of the chapter content of the course. They are meant, rather, to provide a bridge of connection between the first five chapters and the approach and layout to be found in the remainder of the content chapters.

4. Limiting Our Study explains more fully the difficulty I found myself in while attempting to write about Christian Community. Since this is the most important topic I have ever written, I must cut out everything non-essential and focus only on that which I must express regarding the Church of Jesus Christ, the end result of all salvation.

5. Patterns of Home introduces the text, Patterns of Home: The Ten Essentials of Enduring Design
by Max Jacobson, Murray Silverstein, and Barbara Winslow (2005) and introduces to the reader how these patterns of home will be combined with the ten most important verses to give us a picture of our home and Father's Home forever.

6. An Historical Path then positions the focus of this teaching as the culmination of the history of the Church of Christ. This word you are reading comes out of a definite and specific thread of revelation and travail that preceded us.
