Bridge I

Writing about life together in Christian Community draws hostile reactions unlike any other Bible topic. This first of three "Bridges" sets out my personal reasons for loving and writing about Christian Community. It also addresses some of the popular prejudices against life together.

Since these things are not found in the outline of sessions needed for the course, I have added them as a separate reading.

1. My Personal Commitment is a quick overview of why I love Christian community and why I have believed God for a return to the community of my heart.

2. Objections lays out a number of different accusations against Christian community and gives a brief answer to each of them.

3. Why I Write is a sharing of the deep need inside of me to finally set forth the whole reason why I have written anything and that is to call forth the gathering together unto Christ and into life together.
