6. Inhabiting the Site

Every house design, including the house God is building for Himself, begins with a full consideration of the site where that house is to be built. A good architect will design the house to fit well with its location in appearance, in materials, and in layout.

God, building the Church as a House for Himself is the same. The House of God fits the site where it is built. That "site" includes two things. First, it includes this heaven-earth in which humans live, and second, it includes humanity as a whole, our human nature and ways of doing. - Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God (Revelation 21:3).

The site of God's house is also Christ. - In Whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God inside of the Spirit (Ephesians 2:22).

Lesson 6.1 The Site interweaves the several points of design from the pattern, inhabiting the site, together with the several points of truth in God's design as found in Romans 8:28-30). In so doing, we obtain a picture of the place God has chosen in which to dwell, the site of His Home.

Lesson 6.2 Many Brethren expands on the truth that God's house is many humans together, each the same as the Lord Jesus. The lesson develops the importance of accepting ourselves as God made us, as we find ourselves to be, in order for God to be free to build us together as His dwelling place.

Lesson 6.3 Entering the Land sets before the reader the joy of entering into all that is Christ as a many-membered body, that is, the Church, life together as the dwelling place of God, the site of His House.
