3. That They May Be One

There is a direction connection between Jesus as every Word God speaks through Christ as us, that is, through our own hearts and mouths, and, by Christ as a Spirit of power, that relationship we enjoy together as His Body, the fullness of Jesus who fills all in all.

Thus, we want to understand how Jesus is Word in us so that our words might bring forth the fullness of Christ - life together as the Church.

Lesson 3.1 To the Pure addresses the purity in which we exist, that is, Christ alone and entirely by faith. To the pure all things are pure. Thus the primary change that changes everything is the seeing of our eyes and the speaking of our words.

Lesson 3.2 Keeping a Pure Word addresses the requirement Jesus placed upon those to whom He and the Father would come to make Their Home with us. How do we keep His word? By pretense or by our full expectation that Jesus alive in our hearts is that very Word? The lessons sets out the importance of the words we speak into one another.

Lesson 3.3 Our Words lays out the differing kinds of speaking that we speak to one another as brethren, corresponding to each level of the Covenant we have entered into with God. Yet these words coming out of our mouths imparting life and strength to one another are nothing more than simple and kind human words.
