12. Members of One Another

The New Testament is very clear; believers in Jesus are part of one another. What does that mean?

It is also clear that Christ IS many together as one. What does that mean?

If Father reveals Himself only through many together as one, what is the core essence of our togetherness? And what is required for us to know its reality?

Being a vital part of one another is something not well considered in the Chrisitan world, yet it is a reality we cannot live without.

Lesson 12.1 Belonging explores the inner essence of being part of one another, that is, belonging. Belonging requires two things: commitment on the hand and liberty on the other. The lesson also applies the nature of the Blood of Jesus as the life force of His Body.

Lesson 12.2 The Cost of Discipleship sets out the nature and the cost of our commitment together as members of each other. The fulness of Christ is a costly fruit.

Lesson 12.3 Learning Christ, then, describes this one thing we do inside of Church, and that is learn to walk as Christ together. The author uses his experience as a writing teacher to illustrate how it is we are to learn Christ as many.
