2. Father at Home
God has one purpose for the Church of Jesus Christ and that is the fulfillment of His Desire to be seen and known by all. The Church is the Body, the dwelling place of God, many brethren sharing life together, loving one another with a pure heart fervently.It is only through such a many-membered Body, many believers in Jesus moving together, that God can appear inside of His creation as part of His creation.
Lesson 2.1 A Dwelling Place establishes the New Testament teaching regarding the Church prepared as a Home, a dwelling place for God inside heaven-earth. Our Home is inside of Father and His Home is inside of us together. Although Jesus shares life with each one of us as individuals, Father God can be revealed only through many together.
Lesson 2.2 The Fifth Signature takes us back into the Covenant, to our own personal place of commitment to the Church as the Body of God and as our own personal dwelling place forever. The issue has always been - will we lay down our life for other believers in Jesus as Christ Himself or - will we attempt to rule over those "others" whom we secretly despise.
Lesson 2.3 Father in Fellowship demonstrates that Father is known through our fellowship of companionship together, always acknowledging Father among us. This lesson introduces the understanding of an invisible Person inhabiting and showing Himself through the gathering of many individuals in conjunction with each other.
